Restaurant on the beach, good Thai food, all dishes are around 150-350 baht. The size of the dishes is somewhat small, but quality/price compared to hotel restaurants, much better. Alcoholic drinks are the most affordable in the area, 620ml beer 150 baths, cocktails about 200 baths. The waiters are a little serious but correct, you can pay in cash or with a physical card (they do not accept cell phones, because they do not have contactless). We had lunch there twice and everything we ordered was delicious (Pad Thai, chicken with nuts, panang chicken, fried rice, fish with soy sauce.). I recommend it!

Nice local seafood beachside restaurant. Nice place to watch the sun down! Food was better than average but also not outstanding. The prices are cheap. Waitresses friendly but not really attentive.
Place for a relaxed afternoon or evening.

The food is delicious, you can choose yourself the fish they have in sight. And it's very curious how they grill the fish in a large ceramic pot.

Good value for money, very friendly welcome, feet in the sand. Very good time.to do again.

Pro: You really sit beautifully right on the water. The sunsets are a dream. As far as food goes, you can get authentic Thai food here. Even the glass noodle seafood salad was made very spicy, typically Thai. The staff are all very nice and friendly and understand English well. Compared to the few restaurants (almost all hotel restaurants), this one is also one of the cheaper ones, even if more expensive than inland Thailand.

Cons: Unfortunately, the cocktails aren't that good and the toilets are very questionable. Thai, so: D

Food is fantastic, service laid-back and friendly. The location on Tub Taek beach is phenomenal. Best beach in the area by far: Crystal clear water, dreamy sunsets.

What a gem! Don’t let the tourist trap-looking decoration fool you, this unassuming restaurant was absolutely delicious. So good that we went back for lunch the next day. Amazing beach views and an extensive menu, so you can find pretty much whatever you are craving. My favorite was the pad si yu and my husband’s favorite was the fried fish with tamarind sauce. Pro-tip: instead of getting a beer per person, order a small Singha beer to share and drink them quickly so they don’t get warm (and repeat because it’s impossible to drink just one)

We also organized a boat day at the restaurant which was incredible value for an unforgettable day. Way cheaper than doing it through our hotel.

Good taste, a bit to much onion in many dishes. Sometimes not enough staff to serve (between one to over two hours to get food). Nice sea view. OK value for money, no more.

As a Thai cuisine enthusiast, this restaurant is too overrated.

Overcooked seabass and the squid are too rubbery.

Tomyum is below average and is not too spicy. Probably to cater to European tourists.

However, the seafood served is mostly fresh.

Since there are no other options, you may end up eating here.

I wish this area happening like Ao Nang with many street foods that visitors can choose from.

And my girlfriend ate here, she is now in the hospital with a parasite from the food she ate.

Low prices, authentic food. The Pad se ew was a bit under spiced for this heat lover (but not for heat hating wife) but that was easily remedied by “side of pepper powder”.

Best place along the beach.

I am running several restaurants and am spending with my family here in Krabi our vacations, now my impression of this restaurant just after coming back for dinner: the location is nice with a fantastic sea view but that’s all of the positives, the cooking skill is average/ very basic comparin paid for; what is absolutely no go is the fact that two of four dishes had nothing to do with pictures of the dishes shown on the menu card! We ordered fresh whole crab with onion as shown on picture but we got fried frozen crab meat with onions, we ordered a whole fresh fish as shown on menu card but we got a piece of fish filet; asking the waitress if this was a mistake she answered that they don’t have whole fresh crab.
As restaurateurs we are deeply disappointed how the customers get the food served with such a quality…and we don’t understand where all the positive comments are coming from

Delicious and affordable food (way more affordable than anywhere else in this area) coupled with the gorgeous views of the sunset made this a perfect dinner spot! I would definitely recommend everyone check this place out!

Beautiful place, especially at sunset. Food was tasty. You may have to fight some mosquitoes but it's worth it in my opinion.

Schönes Resturant am Strand, das Personal freundlich und das Essen ist gut. Die Portionen sind auch völlig ausreichend. Die Preise sind etwas höher als in Thailand üblich, sind aber ok. Mit dem Sunset hat leider nicht geklappt aber wir haben ja noch ein paar Abende Zeit von denen wir sicher den einen oder anderen nochmal vorbeischauen werden.

My wife and I found this place a few days after staying at the Tubkaak Boutique Resort a few blocks over, and for the great value this place offered by comparison, we should have come sooner! Definitely a delicious spot with friendly staff (including 3 resident cats) that was quite affordable. Happy to recommend to other travelers to the area!
