7The riverside setting is wonderful, particularly in hot weather, with shading trees and shelters. Like the English translation of the name suggests, this is Isaan food food from the Northeast of Thailand. Ideally, one would be able to speak a bit of Thai, or go with someone who can. Dishes that i have tried have been tasty without doubt, but some a little spicy for us 'Falang' (foreigners). The phase 'pet mai? ' (spicy yes?) is useful.
