The onion soup is a joke, the second course was cold. Nothing looks like the photos on the menu. The worst restaurant in this part and the most expensive. I do not recommend.

We had a pizza as we wanted to try something else than thai dishes, and it was pretty good.

The prices are not too high, considering the view and the fact that this is the only restaurant in that area.

We cannot understand the bad reviews. The service was really nice and the ambience with the romantic sunset was great. The cook asked again whether the dishes were tasty and my wife didn't get her Thai food spicy as ordered.

Chillout music also comes from the neighboring bar (they work together).

The smoothies are really highly recommended

Very decent prices, and very nice Thai food. We had a nice lunch with my boyfriend with an amazing view on the beach. Avoid any European food but enjoy a nice stir fried rice in a pineapple!

Good service, amazing views, solid food. Order something Thai and you have nothing to worry about.

Honestly pretty good spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My bf and I ate here a ton bc it was so close to our resort stay. We would always get the soft boiled rice w chicken- very hearty and filling for breakfast.
And then lunch and dinner would be whatever we were feeling. I’ve had every thing from the hamburger to the parang curry— all pretty good. Oh and the shakes I think I’ve had about 50 already. Lol so good. This place is not as inexpensive as the restaurants in Railay- but honestly it’s not gonna kill your bank. It’s good!

I ate here twice during my stay. The food was so delicious. Price is not too expensive comparing to other beachfront restaurants on Railay. Highly recommended the fried rice

We were terrified to eat here since we read all the bad reviews. But believe it or not, this was our favorite meal in all of Tonsai (maybe that says something about the rest of the places as well.) We ordered some "save" snacks for lunch and they were very tasty. Staff was also friendly. I hope they keep improving the quality because it's such a shame for a restaurant with an amazing view like this to go to waste.
Ps. This was yesterday and we didn't get Tonsai tummy which is worth 3 stars alone

We paddled to this beach and spontaneously ate here.

+ Food is okay, but not outstanding
+ Shake was plentiful and tasty
+ View is phenomenal

- The service person cannot answer simple questions due to the lack of a language barrier. You can actually only take the order.
- Prices tend to be more expensive, you pay for the view
- It was very empty and somehow there was no mood. For example, there is a lack of soft music or the like

5 of us ate here and all had bad dishes unfortunately… pizza with undercooked raw veggies and overcooked dry crust, generally bland flavors. Definitely expected more for the relatively high prices, but also I guess they have to bring all their supplies in by boat to this small area. If on a day trip better bring food or eat in railay.

I came here because it is the only F&B on Tonsai that is sea facing. All others are in the village behind the wall that divides the beach and village supposedly for a certain project that haven’t materialised. It has a great view of the Tonsai beach, the cliff between Tonsai and Railey with climbers on the side. The veranda provided me much needed shade in the hot day so that I can comfortably sit and have some still moments.
I ordered the seafood glass noodles. The amount of seafood in the plate is great. There is even a mussel which I totally didn’t expect. Taste wise it is average, nothing to complain nor rave. It is alright for me since I was here for its location. In fact better than the ones on main Railey beach as it is nearer the coastline and right next to the cliff.

Did the horrible mistake of ordering the chef's salad, which feels like inedible amalgamtion of kitchen leftovers and stale bread, they know their location is breathtaking so they serve whatever, (which is why i gave 5 stats to atmosphere, the view is unbelievable)
Do yourselves a favor eat at railey or any other place there that serves food, oh and needless to say ubelievebly overpriced

We ordered vegan red curry and what they served us was an unbearable hot and spicy bowl of coconut milk with just a few pieces of tofu and some local bitter berries. We requested the staff to add more vegetables and tone down the heat but what we received in turn was a 10% milder version of the original. We left the food as it is in our plates since we felt like our stomach was on fire. We did let the receptionist know about our disappointment with the dish and in return she argued that all curries are meant to be hot. That’s it, no apologies no corrections made to the dish.
If you’ve been in Thailand long enough, u probably know that curries are rich and flavourful bowls of happiness. And we’ve had far better curries in other cafés in tonsai (in fact, we’re headed to Legacy on the other end of the beach to compensate for this disaster of a last meal). Also, low key indifferent staff.
