Tonmai Suites

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tonmai Suites. It’s probably the nicest place we have found in Thailand. The owner, Jennifer is friendly and helpful, and attention is paid to the details to make you feel comfortable; Cold filtered water is always available, as well as fresh ground coffee, the linens and bedding are wonderful, the rooms are clean.it was such a pleasure to visit!

What a great place to stay and spend Christmas. Loved the place and location at old town lanta. The owner was helpful and also very nice absolutely stunning place. Higley recommended

What a wonderful stay! We stayed in the aqua blue Pole house. Absolutely stunning sunrise and sunsets. Great kitchen and dining deck to enjoy local seafood. Location perfect as next to scooter rental. Off street parking too so great for us bikers. Jennifer the host was extremely helpful and the place was spotless.

Tonmai Suites are spotlessly
clean, with friendly, helpful English speaking owners.
Our suite is large, well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds! Good A. C and ceiling fans keep it cool. Plenty of wardrobe space, and drawers, to hide away clothes etc, keeps the room looking tidy!
Bathroom is a good size and in western style.
We particularly enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching Old Town go by.
Tonmai also has a pleasant shady garden to sit in.
Free coffee, tea and drinking water are always available.
Old Town is a fantastic place to stay with excellent restaurants and good quality shopping. We particularly like Fresh and Pinto restaurants in the evening and Grandma's House does a fantastic breakfast with home made bread! Big Tree cooks scrummy Thai and Western style food. These are all only a 5 minute walk from Tonmai.
Beaches a 10 minute car/ bike ride away.

Beautiful hotel, open for business, a large private garden to enjoy tranquility, and amazing owners. They make you feel like home. All restaurants and shops just minutes away on foot.

The owners could not have been more pleasant, helpful and nice.the hotel has a very « home like » feel to it, the room was absolutely beautiful, free coffee and water.if you are looking for a nice peaceful stay in Old Lanta, it’s very close to delicious restaurants with less tourist. It's been an amazing week at tonmaisuites. Travelling thailand for a few weeks now, but first time I felt at home thanks to the amazing hosts Darren and Jen.
The place is beautiful, every room is different, the garden was a perfect place to relax and to also to work. It is in old town Lanta, so not the typical touristic area, but with a bike you can go everywhere. If you want to have a feel at home experience in Thailand, this is the place to be.
If you are a first time traveller to Thailand, they will help/support you to find your way around.
Definitely coming back.

Having been stuck in Bangkok for 8 months I needed to get away, I come across this hotel and it blew me away. This hotel felt brand new, Darren and Jen were the perfect host and no request was too much to ask for they have a great knowledge on the island and really made my stay special. Unlike other hotels I have stayed in this hotel had freshly grounded coffee in the morning to help yourself too which was amazing to sit on the balcony and take in the breathtaking views in the morning. When I come back to Koh Lanta there is no doubt where I will be staying thank you Jen and Darren for making my trip perfect

This place is under new management and they have done an amazing job with the place! Large, comfortable rooms, brand spanking new furniture and beautifully decorated. New owners Darren and Jen will help you with travel arrangements and recommendations for what to do and where to go on Lanta.
