16 The best local food.
Ohn and her family will always serve you with a smile. I've been eating here for years and look forward to every meal. It's a great lunch spot or for takeaway. (There's no indoor seating)
Thai prices and quality, Ohn's food is a regular for many in Old Town.
I highly recommend her BBQ chicken skewers (get there early for this), Som Tum papaya salad, and Penang curry.
Local thai food is just next to 7Eleven. It's really good and affordable. Friendly chef. Would highly recommend. We have been coming here for lunch and dinner the last few days.
The food was great! Very inexpensive. We went 3 times on our 4-day trip! The owners are very nice and friendly!
For us this was the best local experience on Ko Lanta.

Dinner here was delicious.had sweet and sour tofu, coconut milk soup and long bean salad.they have loads of vegetarian options which I appreciate. The lady running the place was so friendly and happy.great food and service.highly recommend the roselle juice too!

The food is super delicious and the owners are incredibly nice! Speak great English there is a lot to choose from and the price/performance ratio is perfect.
Delicious food, amazing cook and super friendly family! We had the best Pad Krah Pao. Lots to choose from depending on what you fancy. They will recommend you the best based on what you like.
Closes at 7pm. Be sure you get there early. Excellent for breakfast!

We have been visiting Koh Lanta many years and this is by far our favourite place for food. The chicken Satay is in my opinion the best in the world

Small family owned+run restaurant. Recommended to us by locals. Smaller outdoor seating arrangement. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Definitely worth a stop if you pass by old town. Great value as well
Really good food - recommended by our hotel staff. This restaurant has no name but it’s right beside the 7-11. Owners are awesome and speak English as well. Food prices are low and it’s great food. Definitely recommend the Penang Curry with rice - that was my favorite. Menu is quite large with a ton of Thai food so lots of optionality. They also do takeout (for sure) + delivery (I believe)
Really great food. All the tables are outside and the whole thing is run by 1 family. Recommended by our hotel manager really great find. Super cheap too. About 60 to 90 baht for a meal.
