The L Resort Krabi

Hotel was pretty nice, the staff was very helpful with providing instructions on how to get around and they held our bags for us after we checked out and went on an island tour for the day

Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort restaurant serves Halal food. The beach is very close to the resort. Great location. This is my third time at this resort. I will definitely come again.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They changed our room to a more quite one. The hotel is in the middle of the center.

Chose this place for the super central location, right in the middle of the main Ao Nang strip. Although very central, it is not loud as the large balconies are facing inwards towards the pool and not the strip. The rooms were large, pool was beautiful and the breakfast was some of the best we had in hotels in Thailand. The staff was also very nice, they let us leave our things there at the reception a few days after we checked on our way back from Ko Phi Phi to Krabi airport for a couple of hours. The laundry service was quick and very affordable.

Our family of 4 with 2 tweens stayed here for 5 days in December 2022. We got 2 adjoining rooms which was very helpful, each with its own king sized bed. The breakfast was good, had variety and egg/pancake making station. The location was amazing - right on the strip in Ao Nang with the long tail boats across the street, plenty of stores, restaurants, laundry, tour bookings, etc. Often our speedboat tour would be able to drop us right in the water by our hotel instead of taking us back to the pier which was helpful and saved time. The hotel manager is english speaking and helpful in tips or recommendations. Welcome drink was much appreciated. Beach towels provided at front desk.

The two downsides - water temp in the shower fluctuated from hot to cold if someone in the adjoining room was showering. This happened often as we were in the room at the same time as the kids and getting ready at the same time. The other downside was the little bugs that were in the bathroom counter and counter by the fridge. I put a sealed wrapped unopened muffin from the airplane ride and within minutes little bugs came out and swarmed the muffin (counted over 20). This happened with anything we left out for even minutes (fruit, shakes, etc) so it basically had to go straight from our hand into the fridge without even putting it on the counter. I brought it up at the front desk but the receptionist didn't speak english well and I didn't want to make a big deal about it.

There aren't many hotels to stay at right on the strip and the location can't be beat!

I stayed in L hotel Krabi this week, for 4N with 3 other friends. I booked the villa room which comes with 2 rooms and a bathroom. The other reason is, the bath tub comes with Jacuzzi and it looked big in the picture. I paid around 29350 THB for the 4N stay. I will not recommend this hotel to my family and friends based on the following reasons. To be fair, I am also including a few fair points about the hotel.

Pros:
1. Location is just across the beach and the happening street of Ao Nang. It’s a great location for shopping and easy to find food.
Cons:
1. I would say this hotel has average level of cleanliness because the lobby, staircase and entrance to rooms are often sandy and not cleaned in short intervals.
2. The breakfast was below average, the bread section and collection of jams and butter were good but the other food served for breakfast was just edible, not to say tasty. Didn’t expect this because I paid high price for my stay here.
3. Not all staff are well trained and friendly. We rented a car in Krabi and was struggling to find the hotel’s parking and it was late night already. When I approached a guy at the reception to help us to park the car, he was very reluctant despite me almost begging him for help. I will never forget this incident because this is the first hotel which neglected a request for parking assistance despite listening to the security concern raised by me as all of us were females.
4. The bath tub was a disaster. It became malfunction and the water from the jacuzzi tap started to shoot everywhere. The entries bathroom became wet. We called the room service for assistance, they don’t have technician to standby in the night, so ended up waiting long for them them to fix the issue. Issue wasn’t fixed but the water supply to the bath tub was disabled. No one bothered to check and settle the issue the day after. What kind of service is this? I bumped into a man at the lobby, believe he might be the hotel manager, he did ask if my room had any issues with the bath tub, we told him yes and highlighted to him we are not happy at all, I am not sure from his reaction weather he felt bad for his customers or not
5. Don’t choose the villa. It’s highly priced. It’s big but it comes only with one bathroom, so a lot of time is wasted by just waiting for the rest in the group to use the bathroom

Die Lage war das allerbeste, man lag nah an allem möglichen. Strand direkt vor der Türe und Läden und Restaurants überall um einen herum. Außerdem war das Personal auch sehr freundlich.

Very nice hotel in perfect location. Rooms are quite big but old and ac in bad location, just above bed. Two very nice swimming pools. Resort could be cleaner.

The rooms were neat and clean. Service was great and the location was just opp to Ao nang beach. Best location and it has all kinds of shops and restaurants in less dhan half a km distance

Good hotel in the center of ao nang. Great to go on excursions and dining out, it is close to everything. Restaurant is open air, overlooking the beach. Breakfast could be improved and rooms a little cozier.

Great location on Ao Nang beach with the beach literally across the street. On the beach you will have access to all of the long boats and local ferry boats for day trips and traveling between islands and other local beaches that you might want to visit during your stay. Also, there were many bars, clubs, and restaurants and plenty of shopping within easy walking distance. We enjoyed staying at this hotel and relaxing in the large pools, sitting on the balconies to look at the ocean or sunset, etc. Our room was modern and very clean, with a large and comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. The housekeeping staff was excellent. Bottled water, coffee and pool/beach towels provided in our room were complimentary. There was a small mini bar fridge in our room with sodas and beer which were very reasonably priced. The staff was very nice and helpful, although the pool staff could have done a better job keeping the debris out of the pools (the only negative thing about this hotel!) The breakfast bar was fairly good with multiple western and asian food choices, a great coffee machine, and an omelet/pancake station. The breakfast bar was included in the price of the room, and it added significant value to the already low price of the room, since the restaurants in the Ao Nang beach area are a little overpriced (as expected for a tourist town). All of the guests that we talked to during our stay were very happy with the hotel, the price, and the amenities. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, and considered it an excellent value

Two weeks ago I went to the hotel for a 89-year-old man who has cancer. He needed to use the toilet immediately. A great white man who was standing behind the reception desk to whom I explained the matter asked us out of the hotel. Of course, we found immediate help but from the Thai people who next to the hotel took immediate help. When leaving, I told the hotel co-owner or hotel manager that he would never get older if he got sick or get such a serious illness, but he did not teach such nice people as the people of his white Westmen exploiting people and teaching them ruthlessness. There are plenty of hotels around and resorts in Krabi but only money counts in this hotel so leave them elsewhere.

L Resort is located in Krabi, in the Ao Nang Beach area. This eco-friendly complex has a terrace with padded lounge chairs and a large outdoor pool with a waterfall. Krabi Airport is just 40 minutes' drive away.
Across the street from Ao Nang Beach, this contemporary hotel with views of the Indian Ocean is 3 km from snake displays at the Krabi King Cobra Show and 6 km from Nosey Parker's Elephant Camp.

Laid-back rooms with colorful accents feature Wi-Fi, iPads, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms add balconies. Suites have separate living rooms; some offer ocean views or whirlpool tubs. Room service is available.

A bit on the pricier side. Though it's a pretty incredible place, I think it's worth it.

Great stay in the suite. Clean rooms with an upscale feel. Fantastic location, and would certainly stay again.

5-stars, but my one request would be that they fix the WiFi. During our stay, we had to rely on our phone SIM cards entirely for internet.

Personnel very kind, clean and beautiful rooms, the view is amazing. Hotel is right in front of the long tail boat rentaldeparture place - very easy to access. The same time it means you need to walk a bit to be able to swim in the sea, but still very close.
