The Hilltop Ao Nang

The view was amazing. And the transport was really on time.

The food was not that good. We ordered the fried rice with prawn and crab, beef with basil, and squid with garlic and pepper.
Squid = fine. Need more flour to make it more crispy.
Beef with basil = not delicious at all.
Fried rice = plain.

Overall, ok.

Beautiful setting. Food was good, a little pricey for Krabi but the atmosphere and service was well worth it. The jazz singer adds a nice touch as well

Great food and atmosphere. Expensive but worth it. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. Sunsets are amazing in the "special table"

Good view, good environment. Please bring mosquitoes repellent. The reason I gave 1 star lesser is because the foods here are really expensive and small portion. Food taste good tho.

Decent view and nice ambience. Apart from that the food is okay but portions are small and prices expensive.

Made reservation and hotel pick up a day before from website. Very convenient and efficient services. Nice restaurant with tasty food and great view!

Horrible service, Do not come. The Employees smoked infront of us when we kindly asked them not to. Also, we needed to repeat ourselves several times for our order to be delivered.

The service was very poor. Don't know much about the food but the workers were smoking in the dinning area even though I have mentioned it several times.

The only thing beautiful about this place is the environment, where you could view the sea. Other than that, nothing fancy, food average and expensive. Lady boss unfriendly and service is so poor.

View was perfect and service was great. Got many choices for food but relatively expensive and not that tasty at all. Don’t forget to provide your hotel name and room number at least 1 day in advance for pick up service.

Good environment, Good Food (Good Thai Food), minus point is Pricey and wish at this price we can get fresher seafood.

The Hilltop is a lovely setting - 3 sections, a lovely outside area and then 2 areas set further back. The live music is really good. Unfortunately the place is frequented families and their noisy kids. This is to be expected as folk go on holiday with their kids - but don’t think it’s going to be a romantic evening. It’s not. We stopped for a sunset view and a drink. Evidently one needs to book for dinner - and looking at the menu it’s pricy for South Africans, but probably not for those with stronger currencies.

It was fun people watching all the insta queens. There is also a “ pick up “ area at the bottom of the hill so folk without transport don’t need to walk.

Came here for a group hens dinner as the couple also had the wedding around the area. Food was great and service was attentive, a lot cleaner than most you'd find in Ao Nang, hence the price is also dearer (for the locals). Their seafood Tom yum and fried rice (only small portion is served in a half pineapple) are recommended.

Food is great esp the steam fish. The basil chicken is great but the hilltop tum yum a bit of a miss. The staff is friendly and attentive. What knock you off your socks here is of course the unbelievable view. Come here by 530 and enjoy the sunset. They have complementary ride from your hotel but it's limited so book early. Prices are not crazy despite the settings

Make a booking and received a confirmation mail on 16 Dec for dinner on 28 Dec.
On 28 Dec being inform the booking was not in their list and mentioned the confirmation mail was auto reply not a real confirmation!
Then what is the purpose of confirmation mail and how customer can know if the dinner booking is confirm.
The service is rude when talk over the phone, not worth to pay a visit!

Great for the view. Service staff was polite. Had drinks, a little more pricey than elsewhere for sure.

View is amazing but falls short in terms of dinner went here on trip around Thailand and Vietnam. The food wasn’t good apart from the coconut ice cream as go to local markets where you could easily pay 1/10 of the price for a nice dinner come here for desert and drinks.

The food was great. The service was nice. You can enjoy the sunset here. Recommend!
