Thai House Beach Resort

I had the most wonderful 10 days at Thai House Beach Resort (originally only planning to stay for 4).
Kim and Nee and all of the other staff are wonderful and so friendly.
I stayed in a double bungalow with air conditioning, which was modern and super clean.
The location is incredible, 60 seconds and I am on the beach.
Locally there are plenty of restaurants and coffee places and a 7-eleven within a short walk.
Check out Laanta @Lanta (next to 7-eleven for the best proper coffee)

I can't say enough wonderful things about Thai House Beach Resort. The location is fantastic - you're just steps away from Long Beach, many restaurants and bars, and of course a 7-Eleven! I actually added an extra day to my stay at the last minute because I was having such a great time. Kim and Ni and all of the staff are so welcoming and warm! I felt like I was part of the family. And, as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe. I cannot wait to go back!

I'd been there for several nights, the bungalows are really nice, clean and spacious. There is everything you need. The location is just in front of the sea, there is a really nice bar/restaurant from whic you can watch the sunset. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back

Beautiful place to stay, lovely accommodation and really picturesque beach! The gardens around the accommodation are full of beautiful plants and wildlife.and we made friends with every little cat that wandered in!
The staff are all lovely, Kim and Ni were beyond amazing and nothing was too much! We booked days out, cooking classes, yoga and our travel home with Kim and Ni and we enjoyed every single thing we did!
The area was safe, clean and lots of lovely places to see!

We had an amazing stay at Thai House, the Lady there is incredibly nice and super courteous. The beach is also really great same as the restaurants nearby. We are definitely coming back here!

Took a sea view room, just for one day. Everything was perfect. The location, serenity, services. The sea front restaurant serves excellent food. I wish the stay could be longer. I will definitely come back.

We love this place. Very cosy and secluded from the main road. Right on the beach with a 1st class beach bar/restaurant. Very close to all amenities and only 5 minutes from the main town. Kim, the owner is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The beds are on the hard side, but we learned if mentioned they provide a mattress topper. We have nothing negative to say about this resort. If you want a pool then this place probably isn't for you, but the price reflects that. We will definitely come again when we visit Koh Lanta in the future. Thanks for a great stay.

We have stayed here twice now and would no hesitation in recommending it. The owner and staff are very welcoming and helpful and will arrange trips and travel tickets. The rooms are clean and well maintained with air con, fridge, kettle and TV and the Fat Turtle restaurant does good quality food with great views along the beach and sunsets. I’m sure we will return.

Amazing location, beautiful garden, super nice and helpful staff and very peaceful and quiet surrounding. Beautiful rooms with everything you need.

If you stay in once of the sea view rooms you will fall asleep and wake up to sounds of waves.

We chose this condo to Celebrate Songkran 2022 because it was right on the beach. Little did we know, that the venue next door called Sanctuary, had an all night rave party going on with super loud music.

Kim, the kindly manager, organised another room for us a long way from the noise and we sleep peacefully.

So thank you Kim. And thank you for all the staff at the adjoining “fat turtle” restaurant.

And the amazing fire show every Wednesday night.

We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Thai House for a relaxed laid-back and not expensive accommodation.

PS The map will take you to the property next door. So all you need to do is get off at the 7-11 and walk down the right hand side alleyway. Or you can drive down to the car park.

We had the front room looking into the ocean and restaurant. This maybe not private enough for some but we loved it.

A nice tabby cat came to visit us for the four nights we stayed and we became close friends.

The room itself is very straight and simple. No frills. But good enough for a non-complicated beachside holiday.

The manager was very sweet. And helpful. As you can see in the photos, she wrote to us explaining the check out.

These are the cutest little homes! We are staying in a three bed bungalow, complete with a bathroom, fridge, and TV. The air-con is great and there are soft blankets on the bed! Its perfect that were near a 7-11 and a pharmacy. This hidden gem is connected to the Fat Turtle restaurant, which is helpful. Although this place doesn’t have breakfast, its worth the stay! The rooms dont have the best wifi and the theres barely any shower pressure, I think its great! (Also it was new years recently and there was a lovely fireworks show right outside the Fat Turtle.)

It's been a while since our visit but we dream of being back here every day!
Highly recommend, location is perfection itself. Super friendly staff and the owner (Kim) is so lovely. Rooms are fab.

Beautiful place with direct access to the beach. Also there is a "Fat Turtle" bar restaurant overlooking the sea and lovely sunsets. The owners are like a family and the standard of the houses is very high. I recommend to everyone.

Wow! So, true to the name, Thai House features genuine Lanna homes brought down from Chiangmai province. Waking up here is bright and cheery, and falling asleep is quiet and peaceful. I could always hear the waves from my bungalow.

If you’re here now, during COVID times, all the rooms currently have great, ultra reasonable rates. There are also non-Lanna bungalows on the resort, but the Thai Houses are absolutely worth it.

Also, I can’t even begin to talk about how kind and helpful everyone working on the resort is. I loved my stay here.

Where do I even begin? ! Kim and her husband (owners) have been nothing short of amazing and gracious hosts during these crazy times! My friend and I were on holiday in Thailand when all borders closed overnight because of the global pandemic. We came back to Koh Lanta to wait out the lockdown and found our beach oasis here! Kim and the girls that work around the resort were extremely helpful in finding us an extremely nice place to seek refuge. The rooms are wonderful, spacious, modern, clean, and most of all incredibly comfortable. The wifi is strong, the resort is beautiful, and right on Long beach. We enjoyed magnificent sunsets from the comfy bean bags Kim supplies for her guests. We really couldn't have asked for a better host and experience during what was an unsure time for everyone! We will never forget this place and can't wait to come back when things are back to normal!

Fantastic beach resort right on the beach! Brilliant location with everything within walking distance, Money exchange, bars/restaurants etc. Wonderful staff who can’t do enough to make your stay perfect Kim is lovely and the girls on reception, Aom & Nee will book any trips, tickets or shuttles or anything you need! The rooms are lovely, again everything you need.
A 20 second walk to the beautiful beach and their beach front restaurant/bar The Fat Turtle which has a great varied menu as well as good priced drinks, oh and great coffee! See you next year & thank you
