Very glad I went here. One of the guys speaks Swedish so felt safe going here for a bamboo tattoo, happy as a bear.

The prices are very good and so are the tattoos. They took a lot of time to design the tattoo I had in mind for me and were very friendly. The price he said at the beginning stayed the same until the end eventhough we made the tattoo a little bit bigger than originally planned.
They were very nice and courteous. The studio and tools were hygienic and clean.

I had the rings pierced using the Bamboo technique (less pain, faster healing) (takes about 2 hours). Cost me 8,000 TBH (approx. €210). The bamboo technique is more expensive but in my opinion it's worth it if you're getting a tattoo on vacation. I didn't have any foil on it, after about 1-2 days you can get into the water without any problems.

Tip: it is best to apply cream with Bepathen (first aid) for 1-3 days until the first layer of skin is back on.

And of course don't forget the sunscreen, at least 50+ sun protection factor!

New needles are used on each person.
I couldn't find anything about poor hygiene either.

That tattoo was well done, but he definitely overcharged. They have a way of pulling you in. He wouldn't tell me the price when I told him the exact size of it. He acted as if he needed to draw it out completely. I believe this was a way of him "pulling" you into the sale by committing longer amounts of time to the setup process. Overall, the tattoo was great, but felt manipulated by their process. I knew what was happening, but I was already time-committed (their selling process) and so I just agreed on the price because I didn't want to haggle with my tattoo artist. In hindsight, I shouldve haggled with my tattoo if I was haggling with 250 baht shirts, lol.

Me and my girlfriend both got tattoos they are great but we agreeded on a price of 1900 baht before starting the tattoo’s, once finished they demanded 11,000 baht! Absolute disgrace! If i was in the UK and this happened i would of called the police but couldn’t do anything so i had to pay. While we were getting our tattoo’s a woman came in for a tiny dot to be tattooed on her foot they agreed at 100 baht ince it was done they demanded 1000 baht from her she was crying when she left calling them liars! They ruined my trip to the phi phi islands they are scum!

Just got my tattoo done. He did an amazing job. Clean and sterile. Cleaned down beds, with alcohol. The tattoo was done exactly how I wanted and he kept the lines nice and fine and clean. HIGHLY recommended!

A great bamboo tattoo shop! They were the first on the island. You can bring your own drawings or choose one of the prepared once. They even do drawings for you! The tattoo was greatly done, fast and with a huge eye for detail. Absolutely a recommendation!

First tattoo shop in phi phi from 1994. After the 2004 tsunami the shop has been relocated from the beach to the main road in phi phi. After visiting all tattoo shops in the islands I have decided to get my tattoo here as they are without any doubt the most professional
