TAN Hostel x Cafe, Aonang Beach

Superb bowls, superb house coffees and excellent carbonara. A place where we really want to come back to try the whole menu!

Having brunch here is great, it takes a little while because there are a lot of people, but it's worth it. Everything is delicious and the presentations are brutal. I would return 100%.

Came here for breakfast and it was quite good. My highlight was the warm almond croissant that tasted just like a piece of home! Coffee was top, fresh pressed juices not so much.

The berry açaí bowl and avocado toast was perfect. I would definitely recommend to eat breakfast here. Beat breakfast I’ve eaten so far on my trip!

Location: Around 15 mins walk towards the Ao nang Walking street. The vibe around this location is quite lively. Opposite this place is a beautiful road graffiti artwork down the lane.

Facilities: Stay in 8 Mixed Dorm Room. We received bed at the other end which was unbearable and suffocating away from Air conditioning. The upper bed form was difficult to climb up. Next day was received at the lower level where the bed orientation was better than the previous one. Apart from that, the bathrooms were kept clean and neat. Great security system with card usage.

Cafe: Popular with Vegan Dishes. Overall I found it to be steep in terms of prices.
Overall it was a good stay with great interiors.

Great choice for breakfast or lunch. Food was amazing en well-priced. Cant go wrong comijg here!

Great place to go if you want a smoke with your coffee n food.

Really disappointed as the food looked great but couldn't enjoy as some staff smoking on the step beside us n typical euro's smoking throughout the premise. WTAF

Great Hostel!

• Has a café offering healthy breakfast and lunch options. It‘s a little more expensive but very yummy.

• Everything is cleaned daily.

• There are many young people staying here so it‘s easy to make new friends.

• The staff is very friendly and supports you with activities.

• The beach is a 10min walk away and along the way there are many restaurants etc.

• You can rent a motorcycle just across the street (~ 200 THB).

The rest is trouble. The waiting time for a main dish is about 20 minutes. I ordered eggs chorizo and right away mentioned not to spice it up. However, it was spicy anyway. Rejected the dish, and asked again to make it not spicy at all. They brought a spicy dish again. The most unpleasant thing was that as a result I was persuaded to pay for the dish that I hadn't eaten. Arguing that they would have to pay for it themselves. And who should pay, guys? The person, who was left without breakfast and with heartburn? Really? It's a shame. If you can't make a dish that isn't spicy, you can say it and I'd order another one.

The women's toilet is not closed properly, the prices are above average. The breakfast & mood are spoiled. Thank you.

I was in the mood for European food on my trip in thailand. I doubted it at first but the spaghetti chicken tomato was really very tasty. No regrets about this choice. Also the price compared to other restaurants in the area is good for what you get.

Good food and coffee. Only tourist seen here as food prices is above average compared to the local Thai cuisine and unfortunately for such a big establishment no card payment accepted like a lot of places in Thailand as they probably want to avoid paying taxes to the government. All in all would recommend but make sure you have enough cash.

Coffee is good and also breakfast was good. I like this place. I wanted to go again but just you can’t pay with credit card. They work just with cash. That’s why I give 4 stars. Next time if they have card I will spend more time here. Good place. And comfortable.

Most affordable cafe at ao nang beach.food portion was great and good taste! Chill vibes and good interior as well! Definitely recommend!

Great place to have coffee, though a bit hot even inside, and the waitresses paid very little attention. Novody brought a menu or cleaned the table before we sat down, nobody cleaned dirty plate when I finished, and in general I felt no attention. I could justify it as the cafe was full, but it's not a good service no matter what:)

As all places in Ao Nang, they are not cheap (compared to other nice regions in Thailand) coz it's a purely touristic area, but coffee us definitely better priced than in other coffee shops

I love this hostel! Very very clean and quiet. Definitely not a party hostel and not a huge social scene but I got lucky and met some great people while I stayed here! If you’re looking for a place to get some quality sleep, stay here! It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and the cafe downstairs is pretty good!
