sunset bay resort

One of the most magical places I have ever been. The price included breakfast. The room is beautiful but the best thing is the views, a true marvel. The noises that other comments say are not theirs, they are heard in the distance from places in the most central area. He sleeps perfectly. The owner is friendly. I would always repeat

Awesome place! The best choice to stay in Phi Phi island. The accomodation is outside the town (20mins walking). The staff is super kind and helpful, they assisted us to get a daytrip and ferry to Koh Yao Noi for better price. The food is really good and good price too. From the room balcony you can see the paradise of phi phi island. Totally recommended!

Stayed here one night.
Pros:
It is very convenient that they meet you from the pier and take you by boat to the hotel. And they take it away too)
Nice staff.
Beautiful view from the window of the sea and rocks.
The bed is comfortable.
There is no air conditioning, there are fans. It was even cool at night, so even a fan was not needed.

Minuses:
All the disadvantages that were written about all coincided: loud music from the beach, noise on the roof from monkeys. In the morning it was scary to leave the room, as the monkeys stood at the entrance and hissed.
The houses are super simple with thin walls. When walking, sometimes I felt like the floors were wobbly)
If you want to go to the city, you will have to walk for about 20 minutes along a narrow rocky path. The road to the hotel is simply terrible. Stones, snags, the stench of garbage, old houses. It's impossible to get through at night.

In general, I wouldn’t go back there a second time.

We took a boat from Long beach just to come and eat in the sunset and we were not disappointed.
Lovely and friendly staff, good and cheap food and beverages, breathtaking sunset.
Thank you for the hospitality and that you made our meal so enjoyable.

It was an easy lighted 20 min walk back to Tonsai pier for a dessert and then boat back to Long beach again. The entire route had good lighting.

The cabins they offer are very clean and beautiful. You will be staying in the jungle, away from the noisy party beach on the main part of the island, so it is a great place to stay if you like it a little more peaceful and quiet.
The insane sunsets can be enjoyed right from your private balcony as it faces the ocean for a stunnig view. The cabins also come with an integrated mosquito net which is a huge advantage. A highlight is also the private outdoor shower that every room has.
The staff is incredibly nice and caring. There also is a beachfront restaurant with a small but very delicious menu of authentic thai food.
The Hotel includes free boat transfers whenever you like and need it to and from the main part of the island. Alternatively you can also walk 20-30 minutes through the jungle.

Friendly host. Funny too:)
Really nice remote area. Away from party noise. Only sound of waves send the meditative mode.
Good breakfast including local fruits etc.
View is amazing ofc!
(Water pressure is weak time to time but this does not count as something to lower the level of maximum greatness)

After three years it is still place i think of as best paradise like experience. Great stuff, great food, beautifull views and far enough of party hell in the center. If you are not afraid of some wildernes around you (bugs, bats etc) this is definetelly place you should consider.
