SJ House

We stayed here as a base whilst we visited and stayed over in Railay Beach and Ko Phi Phi. The room was very spacious however lacked much other than 2 x beds and a small wardrobe. The bathroom was large and the walk in shower was fantastic. There is also a latge swimming pool which we didn't use.

The service we received from the owner was exceptional. She went over and above to help us with taxi booking and other travel arrangements. She even drove us to the port for us to get the ferry to Ko Phi Phi! Staff were super friendly and could not be faulted.

The only downside was the location was quite far from Ao Nang Beach. This meant we had to travel a lot by tuck-tuck (around 200 baht each way per trip) and sometimes we had to walk quite far down the main road to flag one down. Also, the roof leaked during our stay after some heavy rainfall the night before.

Good place to stay very peaceful environment not too far from the beachs. I really appreciated the owner. She's very kind and very polite ️ will come again later

This is a scam, the room look nothing like the picture, we were put in a tiny room with no couch or balcony despite booking it.

Upon arrival the owner said there is only one room like that, she got very upset and aggressive when we ask to get a refund and left, she deny and said no to complain.

The cleaning is never done, a/c is not working and WiFi upstairs is non existent.

In 10 month traveling this one the worst of all and clearly a rip-off

Fantastic place. We were here for one week with our children. Hotel is in very quite part of town but you are in 5 minutes on the beach and night market by motorbike. You can rent motorbike in hotel - it is very good. The room was very nice, you have all what you need (water, towel.) the pool is very good and owners are the best! They were very fraindly with our children, they cook for us dinner, they help us with all information and is possible arrange a ride to somewhere. It is also digital nomad friendly place. For me one the best place where we stayed in Thailand because of their owner.

500 Baht/night with air conditioning and a swimming pool. Very quiet neighborhood and I really enjoyed the peace.

Very beautiful and quiet place in a green area close to aonang beach. Clean room with aircon and balcony for a reasonable price. But the best was the owner. Jeab helped me with everything I needed. She drove me and picked me up when I needed, as I don't drive motorbike myself. She helped me to find the test centre and drove me there, also arranged the bus to the next island. Very satisfying experience and highly recommended! Would stay again!

Awesome guesthouse. The owner Jeop is a great lady, very honest and extremely fair about prices. The rooms are BIG and clean, with strong wifi in every room, a mini refrigerator, a pool for all, a downstairs kitchen that is for mini restaurant and has great thai food options.
We stayed here for 2 weeks and I reccomend it for anyone who is looking for either short or long term stay.
Motorbike rentals are available, SJ has many bikes.

Good, clean room, friendly staff and near to dragon crest hike. Good value for its low price point.

Amazing room. Bed very comfortable. Beautiful mosaic tile decoration in the bathroom, a huge picture of some clown fish on a reef.has to be seen. Nicer than my house which sucks as we only stayed one night between midnight and 8am. Staff were also very friendly. Only negative was that the towels were microfiber style towels which I find to be as absorbent as concrete. Would definitely stay again. You would need transport to get around as it's a bit far away from everything

This hotel is a great choice. They have a big pool where you can swim even at night and huge comfortable rooms. The staff speaks good english and helped if there are any problems. We also had breakfast which was tasty, there is a large choice of egg dishes with sausages, toasts, pancakes etc. But breakfast is not included to the room price. There is a possibility to take a bike for rent. SJ hotel is also located not far from the beach and main streets with shops and restaurants, about 10-15 minutes by Tuk-tuk. I recommend this place to everyone.

Very worthy place for staying for a few days on Krabi, where you can find, literally, everything you need: various options of tasty breakfast, swimming pool, comfy bed, motorbike for rent and excursions for really fair price (much cheaper than anywhere else, outside). And this is a kind owner, Ms. Tieb and her lovely family, who make these all happened, so many thanks to them from our family for make our vacation on Krabi, very special.
I would advise to improve one little thing: to add more light on the balcony. The rest of everything was perfect.

Beautiful new hotel, big rooms, friendly owner. It's away from the main area but only a 3 minute scooter ride. Lots of good looking scooters available to rent however I already had one. I think we had a free room upgrade due to the hotel being so empty because the room we had was much better than what we paid for.recommended
