Siboya bungalows owned by Mr. Chung.is a very special place. If you want to relax then this is the place. Food is great, the staff are the kindest people I've met in thailand. Accomodation varies from small wooden bungalows to larger bungalows which are rented out by foreign owners. The regular visitors are extremely friendly. This place is the best. The beach isn't your beautiful sandy one but it is very picturesque and you can swim at high tide. Thank you for making my holiday wonderful siboya ppl. Xxx megan

Very quiet and friendly with incredible food. The staff is helpful and wonderful. A great alternative to noisy overcrowded beaches

Siboya bungalows offers modest accomodations at a reasonable price and a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere.
The many long term guests welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family.
By far the most difficult aspect of our whole stay was deciding on our meal choices. The extensive menu was varied affordable and delicious.
If you are looking to kick back, off of the beaten path, Siboya Bungalows deserves your consideration.

This is a dream location for the right sort of visitor. Beautifully maintained grounds set with various types of bungalows. Lovely sea views, excellent food, dreamy sunsets, bird songs, sense of isolation and peace. Good wifi in the restaurant. Look elsewhere if you want parties or a swimmable beach. The island is a glimpse of pre-touristic rural Thailand with a friendly Muslim population. Long term repeat visitors from around the world will share their tables and stories with you. Bring cash.

One of these hidden jewels! Khun Chung and his team keep the huge compound right on the water immaculate and the food in their restaurant is simply outstanding. Mind you the "beach" is very tidal but I still loved the dips on high tide. I'll be back!

A wonderful place to relax in the most peaceful environment, far from the crowds. Warm greeting from the very helpful owner Pi Choong and the whole staff. The bungalows are very charming. Walking by the 8 km beach and watching the birds and sunset or resting on one of the hammocks by the beach. Delicious food and natural fruit juices. A cost effective address that feels like home, a place to remember and repeatedly come back.

They don't make places like this anymore. Beach front accommodation on an island where the biggest decision of the day is what to have for lunch. In a quest to find the best beach most people overlook vast walking beaches as to sunbathing. You can walk for miles on uninterrupted beach here. Incredible family friendly, shallow beach keeps young children safe and hours of endlesses exploring. There nothing bad on the restaurant menu. I honestly say that. Enjoy!

Very nice traditional Thai style bamboo bungalows, very friendly and welcoming staff. Picturesque view from the bungalow patio (facing West, to the beach and sunset). Good kitchen, reasonably priced food, rich variety of menu. Quiet. You do hear the nearby mosque call to prayer only very faintly, not disturbing at all. Wifi connection continuously all right although property warns you of connectivity problems. Great for people who are looking for privacy and intimacy in tropical island.
Downside1: beach is very shallow and in low-low tide periods you need to walk a long way until you can soak yourself into the water. With high tide swimmable. About 30-40min walk to North along the coastline from the property you will find superb secluded beach with privacy beyond imagination.
Downside 2: cash only enterprise. In these days one would expect credit card payment possibility.

Wonderful place, the owners and staff are friendly and really helpful. We saw lots of bits of wildlife, millions of crabs on the beach. Food is really good and cheap, will go back as soon as we can.

If your looking to relax and chill out and feel the real vibe with the locals in the local village. Quiet beach no music was perfect! Like having your own beach it's the best secret in Thailand!
The pictures on booking. Com doesn't do it justice was like staying someone in the movies. Wildlife roamin free. Food was very delicious so good now we've move on from there we keep saying not as good as si boya!
Also the people who stay there are generally same like minded people who want to relax.
Also got a massive book collection all languages and then read in a hammock.
It's not been ruined by tourism. Wich is the best. Falling to sleep to wildlife crickets and frogs. Was perfect

Very nice and quiet place, owners are very kind and helpful. Bungalows are pretty and simple, we had a relaxing sleep however they are situated quite near one by one so you hear the neighbours. The resort is mostly for people who want complete rest in nature. There is a restaurant in the resort serving all kinds of food but on the island there is nothing but nature and few original thai people. No markets. We also didn't like the beach.

41 shades of green, plus the beach. NOT a party island, but chill, with cool people and nice reasonably priced food.

I ve been a lot touristic places around Thailand but never met such an ideal mix of cozy hospitality and comfort of stay together with isolation from touristic crowds. Siboya Bungalos are a best choice for those looking for islands of Thailand as they were 20 years ago, with simple local life. But now we are treated with electricity, wifi, you can choose aircon or fan room. Here you can enjoy morning and sunset walks along the beach, which goes around all island. When low tide, the sea goes far and the landscape changes into something like Mars surface, breathtaking picture. There are no shops around, so please take everything need with you, like medicine etc. But the resort restaurant is absolutely delicious, you can easily plan your thai gastronomic tour at here! When siesta, you can sleep in hammok by the seashore, in breeze and shadow of coconut palms. And try a fresh coconut, it's a must! This island is sure for those who love isolated live, quietness and need to do nothing but relax, meditate, swim, walk and enjoy the views.

This place is truely wonderful! We spent an amazing six nights here and could have stayed longer if it wasn’t for our flight back home. The owner Mr Chung was friendly and helpful and all the staff was kind, smiling and easy going. The whole atmosphere with the other guests immediately felt like family. Our bungalow was in top condition and absolutely clean and tidy. You get a lot for your money! We had every single meal at the restaurant and were absolutely satisfied with everything we had. My girlfriend had vegan food and it was no problem to get coconut milk and tofu instead of milk and meat. We also had a look in the large and super clean kitchen and saw our meals freshly prepared. The only negative aspect one could mention is with regard to swimming in the sea. We had to walk about 200 meters for a good swimming spot at the beach. This is also only possible at high tide, so that you have to get one of the many outside showers during low tide to get refreshed. The beach is perfectly suited for long walks and directly at the restaurant you can find three little courts to play badminton and also a large stretch of lawn to do all sorts of games and exercises. The whole area is not much touristic and the locals are unbelievably friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere on the island reminded of us very untouristic areas in Myanmar. There are sea kayaks to hire as well as a huge bookshelve with plenty of English, french and German books. If you want to hang out and relax in a peaceful and beautiful surrounding, this is the place to go. We can definitely recommend it and will be back as soon as we can!
