I loved it there. Stayed 5 weeks and was treated so kindly.
The staff were excellent, food excellent. Beach a delight.
There are no over water bungalows, The post that mentioned it is wrong place

I love this place.
Bamboo bungalows with decent bathrooms. Water pressure was low but it was alright. Food at their restaurant is very good but slightly overproced. Given the location i couldnt really complain tho. The best of all is their roti and spring rolls.

Simply the best possible authentic experience that you can get! If you're looking for a fancy, spotlessly clean place with plenty of facilities and comforts this may not be the right place for you. If you're looking for a party place probably you're in the wrong island. If you're looking for an authentic experience with an amazing local family, just in front of the beach and don't care too much if you see a bug in your room or if the sink is leaking, this is simply the best possible stay ever. The family running this place is super helpful and friendly, the location is superb, far from the touristic hubs, this place is an amazing experience if you want to disconnect and youre willing to see an authentic piece of Thailand.

Beautiful location with nice beach terrace and restaurant, the room bit basic for the cost with twin beds.

Einfache Holzhütten, 24h Strom, warmes Wasser. Kein Housekeeping. Großer Bungalow, aber nicht sehr sauber. Im Bad immer wieder Kakerlaken. In den Wänden der Hütte gibt es Insekten, die sich durch das Holz fressen – leider sehr laut, vor allem nachts. Musik bis ca. 22 Uhr laut zu hören. Moskitonetz über Bett ist zu klein, dreckig und voller Löcher. Wir wurden leider auch von Mücken gestochen.
Wir hatten im voraus die Hälfte per PayPal bezahlt. Als wir ankamen, wollte die Besitzerin den vollen Preis von uns. Nach zweimaliger Erklärung und einem Ausdruck der Bezahlung (hatte ich zum Glück zu Hause ausgedruckt und mitgenommen), mussten wir nur noch den Differenzbetrag bezahlen. Keine Entschuldigung der Chefin. Durch die anderen Bewertungen und diesen Vorfall vorgewarnt, waren wir dann sehr vorsichtig. Letztendlich waren wir fast nur zum Schlafen in der Anlage.
Den Transfer zur nächsten Insel und einen Roller für zwei Tage haben wir vor Ort gebucht. War beides in etwa der ortsübliche Preis und hat ohne Probleme geklappt.

Simple wooden huts, 24h electricity, warm water. No housekeeping. Large bungalow, but not very clean. Cockroaches in the bathroom. There are insects in the walls of the hut that eat their way through the wood - unfortunately, very loud, especially at night. Music loud until about 10 p.m. Mosquito net over bed is too small, dirty and full of holes. Unfortunately we were also bitten by mosquitos.
We paid half in advance via PayPal. When we arrived, the owner wanted the full price from us. After two explanations and a printout of the payment (fortunately I had printed it out at home and taken it with me), we only had to pay the difference. No apology from the boss. Warned by the other reviews and this incident, we were very careful. In the end we were almost only in the area to sleep.
We booked the transfer to the next island and a scooter for two days on site. Both were roughly the local price and worked without problems.

Hi guys, beware of this bungalows.
Unfortunately we didn’t have good days in the bungalow. The bungalow was as expected with insects etc. But the problem was less the bungalow. We felt like walking money there. The receptionist and the team was at the beginning really friendly and nice to us. They offered us everything but of course for money. They ask the whole time what we do today to include their business in our plans. We ate often there and the food is good. But one day we rented a scooter and we gave it back. Our brake fell off on our way back home. We tried to explain the receptionist that our brake fell off and we almost had an serious accident because she gave us this scooter. Instead of apologizing she wanted to charge us 5000 baths for a scooter brake that fell off. We were totally not sure what to do because it wasn’t our fault but we could prove it. We asked around and people told us the brake is worth 400 bahts but she refused. She scammed us. She told us we won’t leave until we pay 5000 bahts. We really felt unsafe. They turned out the water at our last night at our bungalow so we couldn’t even shower. It was a horrible experience and we were happy to leave koh Lanta this day. Never ever again.
