Sabai Sea View Bungalow

The room was clean, but very neglected. View from the room beautiful.the location far away from the centre, uphill, it was difficult to get to it. Surrounding dirty and messy: (Staff was very nice, they offered refund for one night, because we decided not to stay there.

I gave 3 stars to the location because even though it was out of the center you can hear all the music from the party beach (until 2: 30) It was loud. Besides that I was very happy with the staff and service.

This accommodation does not correspond at all to what is advertised. It's a shanty on the Phi Phi dump. Dirty, poorly maintained, unsafe (a girl less than a year old fell from a five-foot catwalk and miraculously did not hit her face with a rock), bad cuisine ("disastrous fried rice") and the worst treatment in the area.staff I've ever had. Also, the worst party noise on the entire island.
We commented on the first day that we didn't have hot water, and the woman seen in the photo laughed at us and made very exaggerated jokes: "not hot shower. " We were calling the owner to demand a refund for the last nights (since that was the solution that Booking offered us), but he never answered the phone. Far from worrying or telling us anything when he saw us the next morning, we spent the rest of the days not even saying good morning to us. It is the most surreal relationship we ever had with our hosts.
Of the 4 breakfasts we had, we only made one, since the fried rice was simply white rice with cold carrots, tomato and pineapple, and a very unpleasant taste.
Mention also for Booking, who far from finding a solution for us, left us stranded. In addition, it allows establishments to advertise with room service and in the 4 days, they did not do it even once. That is, they announce a scam.

The owners of the hotel are very lovely family, i kinda liked staying there. However there was an issue, you can hear the music coming from the beach. It's so god damn loud you can’t stand it anymore. The music stop at 2-3am, but if you want to sleep a little bit early you have to buy noise cancellation earplugs. Going up the hill to bunaglow makes you really tired, if its very hot outside. You have very young and kind man that helps you with carrying your luggage up and down the hill, if you can, tip him a little bit. The breakfest was good, on the same level as some of the phi phi restaurants.

The bungalow is very nice until nightfall. You can hear the music from the beach venues at full blast. And I think that more people don't hear it in the city. And when it ends around 3 in the morning or so, you can hear the frogs and other bugs, and at dawn the roosters.
It is also quite far from the center. Which in a normal city 15 minutes is nothing. But here it is so small, the distance becomes further. Besides, there is a good hill to get there so that if it is sunny and hot you can reach the bungalow sweating.
The family is very nice and the rooms are not bad. But if what you want is to sleep and rest, I don't recommend it.

I loved it, it was hard to get there but being at the top and having terrible views leaves you satisfied. Of course, go down with everything you need because going up and down often leaves your legs tired. American breakfast and everything very helpful.

We stayed in for one week. We had so amazing experience we plan to repeat it next year as well. We were welcomed by great Thai family who took amazing care of us. We had room cleaned whenever we desire, water bottle every day and great breakfast with some lokal surprises. It is up the hill (safe in case of tsunami), there is some noise from the parties on the beach (but if you came to Koh Phi Phi you need to be prepared it is a party island and the noise will be basicly everywhere). In conclusion. We loved it!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were super friendly and were kind enough to cook us a delicious breakfast every morning along with a friendly greeting, the view from the sea view rooms are stunning and a nice change from the hustle and bustle in town! The room is comfortable and super clean! 10/10 recommend and could write about how much I loved my stay here for ages but I’ll keep it short and sweet i would recommend Sabai Seaview bungalows to everyone for a lifetime:)

Great place and very quite. It is quite the hike up the hills to get to this place but also it is very close to the view points where it is absolutely gorgeous. The staff do not know any english so its a bit difficult to communicate but overall great place and very clean rooms. Rooms are definitely great.
