19 SCAMMERS!
I have been cheated!
I ordered Tiger Prawns, they came 4 in the 5cm plate with the head, and they charged me 800 Baht for the plate.
I argued and they told me that they weighed 100 grams each, laughing in my face.
RIDICULOUS.apparently they tend to scam!
Terrible. Waited over an hour on food, and still it never came. When I asked the waiter, he said “5 mins”… after 15 mins passed, we paid for our drinks and left.
Also, everything is over priced! 100b for a coconut!? Total rip off!
Don’t waist your time and make their restaurant look busy. Avoid!
Expensive place and food not upto mark. Many other places in vicinity offering better food and prices.
The Indian food was good! 3/4 of my party got Indian food and one person got Pad Thai. I ordered tandoori chicken and tandoori prawns. The Lamb Tawa was also very good and had a good amount of spice to it. The Pad Thai was pretty good too. We also ordered garlic naan. The cocktails were good but I do think they were much smaller glasses than I’ve been having. Either way it was good and I would eat their again.
The food was ok as we only had chicken pakora and ginger tea. But the main problem arose when the payment was made. I was asking them to get me the card machine as i wanted to pay by visa forex. But they insisted to charge 3% on the bill for the card payment.
There are other restaurants which are serving better quality indian snacks and food and none of them are charging anything extra for card payment. When told them, they answered if we have eaten full course dinner or lunch then they would've exempted us from the 3%.
This was basically a logicless point made by them and we regretted to visit them in the first place. Be aware. You all will get better Indian food in many other restaurants near to this place.
Pizza from freezer. The Restaurant was free and despite that fact I was waiting for the check 15 minutes. Nobody cleaned the dishes after I finished the food…. The food was for an Indian Restaurant really below average.
Never ever more.
Tourist trap.
They offered desert for free for 12 people, but in the end added to the bill. For card payment they take 3% fee
An awful breakfast for 220 baht. Cold coffee, underdone toast, horrible fried egg, small portion. The worst breakfast in 3 weeks of travelling Thailand. The place was quite empty that might tell a story. Much better options available around Ao Nang.
Sometimes it's not about what's on the outside it's about what's on the inside.
A better description does not exist
Don't let the fancy exterior fool you, the food and service is god awful. Waiting time is long and the food is average at best.
Go somewhere else to eat Indian food, we tried much smaller places with better quality of food with much shorter waiting time.
This was perhaps the most disappointing meal I've had in Thailand, and I've lived in this country for 4 years. Everything, literally EVERY-THING we ordered was meh or just plain bad. I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 1 bc it is an Indian restaurant and most of the staff were Indian and we didn't order any Indian food (because it was breakfast time and they had a full Thai menu and Western Breakfast menu too).
Wir haben um 16: 00 Uhr bestellt und das Essen kam schnell an. Ein Stern abzug, da die Preise im Verhältnis zu anderen Restaurants (indisch) in Thailand hoch sind. Die Gerichte waren gut und das Personal nett.
We sat down and hadn't seen the less than favourable reviews until after we ordered. It wasn't cheap by Thai standards or Australian. I will attach receipt. Was about 90 aud. 2 chicken curries, a pizza, 2 large beers, 2 spirit with mixers, yellow rice, garlic cheese naan, and apple juice and 2 serves of icecream.
Long story short, was actually pretty good. I think all the beetroot burnt europoors don't have a taste for the depth of flavours.
Ordered Bruschetta and got Garlic Cheese Bread… before we ordered the rest we looked up the reviews and decided to leave
Terrible food. The pizza had ketchup instead of tomato sauce. The shrimps tasteless. The taste of canned food. I do not recommend. Avoid this place. There are better restaurants.
Overpriced and small portions. Long waiting time for the food. The food tastes not really delicious.
Bland.
The fish was delicious but overpriced.
The bathroom was gross and infested with ants which made me quickly regret my decision to eat here based on cleanliness.
The kitchen looks scary from what I could see.
I also didn't like how they constantly harassed anyone walking by to come in and eat.
Do yourself a favor and don't come here.
The reason I have one star is because they actually didn’t bill the food that they offer me, otherwise I would give 0/5 I ordered vegetable Beryani but it was something completely different that was not relevant to the bryani! However, the crew and workers there are friendly and nice.
Cold "food", warm beer, poor service and diarrhea.
This "restaurant" is a joke.
Great food and good variety of dishes. Prawn biriyani and chicken tikka are the best in Ao Nang, service can be slow, but the food is worth the wait.
