THE WORST trip.

We were taken to the mangroves at really low tide which means you’re kayaking around in mud. Then we sat on a boat where the guides smoked fags for 2 hours! Eventually making it to a random point out at sea where they festered for us to jump in. Apparently this was the snorkelling part. No coral, no fish, just murky, deep, choppy water. They didn’t take us to BuBu island at all like the tour description said. After messaging the owner to ask why we weren’t taken on the tour we booked and to ask why we basically paid money to sit on a loud boat for 3 hours with guides who spoke no English at all, he didn’t even reply.

Do not book this company.

We went on 4 island trip. The boat was overcrowded, 30+ people. 4 people were left behind. There was not enough life jackets for everyone, when entering emerald's cave. There's a strong current and it's pitch black inside. The guide could not care less. He did not explain how to wear the life jackets, nor guided us though the cave. It was just dangerous and in the end some people skipped the cave. Also, the trip plan was changed and we did not go to Koh Chuek for snorkeling. The guide hardly spoke any English and was rude, but he managed to say that he doesn't work for the company that organised the trip and he won't take us to the 4th island - advertised as the best snorkeling spot. I called Rainbow Lanta and they promised we would go to the 4th island. We did not. Apart from that we were taken to a very busy beach with no fish, and a very average snorkeling spot. The guide did not explain anything, and he was talking only when the engine was on, so we could not hear him. He only asked for tips with the engine off. Overall horrible experience.

Very efficient and friendly operator, we quickly managed to book a minivan to Krabi airport (350B pp) and an island long tail boat tour (750B pp). The operator also gave us his card with a WhatsApp number in case of questions or troubles.

He helped me for speedboat and private car transfer but I mostly gave me usefull advices to how to manage my trip in the better way

Sak, the operator, is really kind and honest person. We are traveling with bicycles so at times our transport needs differ quite a bit to the usual tourist crowd and where other companies were quoting crazy prices Sak thought out of the box and recommended amazing option for our journey between Lanta and Jum for half the cost. Very helpfully he bookmarked the location on maps and stayed in touch on WhatsApp. Long story short, if you have any travel/tour beds I would not hesitate to see Sak at Rainbow.

We spent the day on the Koh Has and Koh Rok snorkeling tour. The staff were very professional, we felt very safe. The lunch was tasty and plentiful and they had done some something special for my vegetarian husband. We had a very enjoyable experience and would happily recommend this company to anyone.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRANSFER THROUGH THESE PEOPLE. We’ve just been picked up (20 minutes late) in Ko Lanta for our transfer to Ao Nang. It was 450baht each (quite expensive for this journey) and the minibus was packed with people and luggage, there was only one seat left in the back and my partner had to sit next to the driver at the front. I had to sit for two hours with my bag on my lap and with everyone else’s bag next to me, shoved into the lady next to me. When we thought they couldn’t possibly fit anymore in the bus, he stopped and rammed another two cases in AND TWO CATS IN A CAGE which he put next to my partner. We felt completely conned and unsafe for the journey. The travel time was twice as long as we were told. Do not book with Rainbow travel.

We bought here tickets to Bangkok, it was a minibus + bus from Krabi Bus Station. I must say that this is the most honest travel agency in the whole Thailand:) First of all the prices are really competitive comparing to other travel agencies. We have booked and payed for the tickets for VIP24 bus to Bangkok. After two days when the owner saw us on the street he called us and said that VIP24 bus was full and we are going to have VIP32, due to that he has given us back the difference in price between VIP24 and VIP32 bus. Secondly the minibus to Krabi was very comfortable, I could even say luxurious:) In the minibus there were only passengers and their luggage, there was no additional baggage that was loaded into the minibus.

I really recommend this travel agency to everybody, truly remarkable customer service, honesty and the best prices that you could find in Koh Lanta.

Rainbow Lanta arranged a day trip to Phi Phi island (Including snorkelling and visiting hot spots). Everything ran smoothly, the tour itself was very nice and the tour guides were extremely accommodating.

Great local travel agency! The owner Kuhn Sak has been very kind and helped us to have a great time despite mixed weather. We cancelled our planned boat trips and instead Khun Sak organised a guided tour of Ko Lanta which was super. We have seen the most beautiful places. We felt never rushed, had enough time to take it all in and perfect balance between information provided and privacy. Khun Sak is very professional, kind, patient and a lot of fun. We surely will ask for his great services again next time and can highly recommend him.

Food and itenerary for snorkelling was great. Amazing spots and loads of fish.

Even in one island where there was a current making it harder to swim back after snorkelling, the knowledgeable staff handled it well and helped everyone in.
