PP Princess Resort

Never expect quality accommodation in Phi Phi. Charlie Beach Resort next door is more satisfactory for the price. I don’t know about anything else…the bed and shower could be replaced…the location and swimming pool are recommended! The quality is such that you don’t even have to ask for breakfast.

I was disappointed that the resort was smaller than the photo, but the location was really great. I was very satisfied because there were many places to go around and the beach was right in front. But the water in the room refrigerator. I was embarrassed. The condition of the towels was very old, and the number of towels was arbitrary. I really hated the fixed shower in the bathroom. The water pressure was also trickling. Fortunately, I didn't see any cockroaches. There's nothing to eat for breakfast. However, the location is so good that I think I will go here again if there are no other alternative resorts.

Excellent hotel and try to book early so that the hotel price will be cheaper

Beware that the resort is far from the amazing pictures except for the pool. It’s pretty nice that the hotel is located in front of a beach with such a nice pool but the room needs a lot of renovation. Most of the rooms are old with rock hard bed, our TV had even like a cracked line going vertically. Breakfast was not amazing except for the bread. The other menus are very oily. The first night was a struggle to sleep for us because the AC was directed on our faces which we discovered later on could be manually shifted to another direction but really manually like one strip at a time (it’s one of those old AC that is inside the wall).

Check-out is at 11 otherwise they charge 200 per extra hour. Seriously? It’s normally 12 in every other hotel elsewhere.

For us, we won’t come back to this hotel on our next visits.

I stayed at the PP Princess Resort for a total of 4 nights, from October 3rd to October 5th and then from October 6th to October 8th. During my stay, I booked the Deluxe Room P2 & P3, which was an exquisite and spacious accommodation, complete with a plethora of thoughtful amenities.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was not only luxurious but also well-equipped with useful items such as an umbrella, pool towels, beach mat, and beach slippers. These thoughtful touches certainly enhanced my stay and made it all the more enjoyable.

The staff at the resort left a lasting impression as well. Their friendliness and willingness to accommodate my needs were truly commendable. Upon my request, they even offered a discounted rate of ฿3200 per night, which was greatly appreciated.

Undoubtedly, the crown jewel of this resort is its stunning infinity pool. The views and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting for relaxation. Additionally, the convenience of having Log Dalum beach right at the resort's doorstep was a significant perk, allowing for easy access to the shoreline.

They even drop your luggage at Burger King near Pier in their trolley upon request. Just show them your boat ticket.

In summary, my experience at the PP Princess Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of a luxurious room, thoughtful amenities, friendly staff, and the breathtaking infinity pool made my stay truly memorable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a delightful getaway.

The hotel is impressive only in photos. In fact, it is old and needs renovation. Dirty walls, dirty and old deckchairs, plaster falling off the walls, the air conditioning is so loud that you can't sleep. Breakfasts were very monotonous and cold, the same every day. I would definitely not return to this hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location and pleasant green areas. Prices here are below average, especially without prior reservation. A hotel with two swimming pools that suit every taste - deep and long. The pool offers excellent views of the sea. There is also a bar on site where you can order drinks and pay upon check-out, which is very convenient. However, upon check-in, there was an unpleasant smell in the rooms and there were no disposable kits. The shower stall was small. Despite this, there is everything you need near the hotel - there are bars along the beach and shops at the back of the hotel. There are also a lot of cats here, which creates a special atmosphere and company. You can pet them, feed them and they will be happy, and so will you
Overall, we only spent one night at this hotel, but the service left a pleasant impression.

Loved this place! Met some of the best cats (we miss you Socks) and people. We particuarly loved the staff, pool, rooms and private balcony.
Clearly a party place during high season, with a young average travellor age, various bars on the beach and list of priced items in the room. However, during July after COVID, it was perfect.

I definitely reccomend this place, and Phi Phi Island in general!

While the pool and location are great, the rooms are in bad shape, mostly the bathroom. No hot water, shower head spray everywhere, and everything covered with mold. We asked to change room but all where like that. Bed is rock solid and ac is so so.

The pool itself is great and beautiful, but the sun lounger and beds not in the best condition. The food at the pool is ok, but breakfast is very basic and can be skipped.

Updating the bathroom and adding hot water can really help this place.

Pro tip - you can reach it quickly from the pier by walking straight forward to the beach and right on the paved road after harbor hotel. It will save you all the walking inside the island.

Location, location, location. Just next to all the dance bars and all the action. The pool is great, though not very clean. The room was spacious, not clean neither. Breakfast was ok. They charges us for a broken glass 250 bat at the check out.

Stayed here for 4 nights and like everything about this resort. A staff waiting to pick up at the pier and drop luggage when we have to leave.
Our villa is far enough from noisy party on the beach. Many cats in resort are fluffy and friendly:) will return again

The resort looks just like the photos online, so no deception there however:
- The beds are rock hard, it felt like we were sleeping on the floor.
- There was only one single power outlet in our room.
- There’s no spare toilet paper roll in the room so use sparingly to avoid having to go ask the front desk for more.
- The staff were really unhelpful. Felt like everything was self service. I’d give the service 1.5 stars max.
- The pool was really tricky to get into. There was only one area near the daybeds that had stairs. Otherwise you had to jump over the sides to get in/out. Not ideal for anyone with back or knee issues so beware of that if this applies to you!
- The pool doesn’t have any towels. You’re expected to bring your own from your room. This is not 3.5* (what the hotel is rated) lol so don’t get your hopes up!
- The pool apparently has happy hour but this isn’t advertised anywhere, so make sure you ask. We ended up paying full price because we were never told or offered by anyone.

If you’re after a no fuss place with hard beds, go for it! Otherwise I’d probably recommend elsewhere.

We loved it. We stayed at the villa, everything was very clean and well maintained.

Notice that most of the villas come with two single beds, they offered us to pay extra in order to take another room with a big king bed.

The pool is amazing and the breakfast is good. Amazing location right on the beach but not where all the parties are at.

Good overall for a 3-star hotel

Nice resort in a great location.
Staff are kind but not outgoing.
Beds are very hard and not comfy, showers have bad pressure and the tv doesn’t work in the room.
We had no TV, Wi-Fi or properly working toilet. We asked three times to be fixed until they looked into it and still didn’t work properly.
The pool staff weren’t welcoming at all, and even tried to ask us to leave at some point as they were closing the bar.
A drinking glass broke in the room while we stayed and when checking out we were asked to pay 150 THB to replace it while during our stay the hotel wouldn’t / couldn’t provide us with the services we paid for.
Breakfast buffet was very dull and we ended up eating out every day.
It felt in the end like the staff were welcoming when we arrived and paid and then when we left and paid an extra 150THB without asking how was our stay or thanking us for staying in the hotel, but in the middle couldn’t care less

Excellent location. The pool & bar area was very enjoyable.
The room was nice, the bed was hard, but not uncomfortable.
Breakfast was average, but again no complaints as it was fresh and tasty.
I would definitely revisit and recommend.

First, I was served mouldy quinoa in the restaurant, and when I took it back showing the mould they argued to even change it.
The staff were rude, the pool had rubbish floating in it and the rooms were nothing like the pictures. The bed was ridiculously hard and the bathroom was dirty. I feel bad rating it so low, and perhaps it’s the result of covid, but we actually cancelled our 4 night stay to only 1, and went somewhere else. I sadly wouldn’t recommend.

Honestly, the hotel itself is not that bad, location is great and pool is gorgeous.

HOWEVER

Our holiday was ruined by the staff, a lady at reception was quite rude (one of our friends got sea sick and when got back to hotel ruined a shower carpet) and they kept running after us every day 3.4 times asking to pay for it, despite us asking to just add it on the room charge. When I asked them to properly clean the room because the sink had been dirty since we arrived they just ignored it. Disgusting.

The lady at pool bar (didn’t get her name, short bob hair) shouted at me that I never ordered a drink after I came to check how long it would take (it was an orange juice and it had been an hour since I ordered it) she basically told me - it’s not on my paper so you never ordered it. She kept fighting despite me asking just to get me one and add on the bill. Her attitude was disgusting.

I get that they must be frustrated with all crazy tourists, but considering this was one of the more expensive places on the island they should hire people that know how to communicate with guests.

Beds are super tough and uncomfortable.

All the 1*reviews are very accurate, this isn’t an isolated incident.

If you go stay in the newer villas. The hotel rooms are worn, rested, and moldy. The Villas are nice modern and very clean. There is a lot of great food and entertainment options on Kho Phi Phi so don't let the archaic hotel rules and regulations hold you back from having a great vacation experience. PP Princess is not like the USA.

Such a wonderful resort.it beyond what we expected.hospitality 10/10. The pool is the greatest place facing sea.we would really want to visit the place again
