Poonsiri Resort Aonang(พูนศิริ รีสอร์ท กระบี่)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay at the place. It's just a 10-minute ride from the centre, tucked away in a tranquil spot that gives you a sense of being close to nature. The hotel provides a convenient club car, and shuttle services are running at various times throughout the day. Breakfast was not only delicious but also offered a variety of choices that rotated during our stay, a nice touch. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist.

The pool, though stunning, was a bit deep for our swimming skills. We were treated to the incredible sight of elephants swimming in the nearby river, thanks to the adjacent elephant shelter—highly recommended for a visit. On the flip side, be cautious of the monkeys in the area; they have a knack for snatching items. Fortunately, our shoes and clothes were left untouched when we kept them outside.

The hotel's self-service washing machine and dryer were a convenient and cost-effective addition. All in all, our stay was delightful, and we'd consider coming back.

If you want to stay in place full of peace and surrounded by nature, this is your place. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view overlooking the lake. BEST breakfast that I have had in a hotel ever before. The people that work here are very committed to there job and will make your stay perfect. The monkeys were the highlight of our stay. Having these playful animals around was very funny and interesting, but make sure you do not get close to them. The shuttle from and to the hotel to the Ao nang area was indeed very helpful. All our activities were booked by the hotel, and we did a lot. I can’t say enough about their wonderful staff. Thank you for the best stay ever!

This hotel is great! Quiet in nature surrounded by monkeys. The staff is very nice, they do everything to satisfy you (we were lost in town they sent us a shuttle for free, we asked to keep the room for 2 hours more on the day of our departure they accepted which is quite rare in other hotels). The breakfast is excellent, the rooms spacious and very clean. The setting is just magical, we recommend 300%.

The place is wonderful, it suits both genders and tends towards a forest theme. The staff are very cooperative, welcoming and cooperative to the maximum extent. The food is excellent and the breakfast is good, just be careful of the monkeys. I will add the character of the room in the video.

This is a great hotel with gorgeous views. I would stay here again! Great staff, good food and very relaxing. They have a shuttle into town every couple hours as well if you want to check that out. The staff goes above and beyond. I had an early morning check out and they prepared a breakfast box to take with me.

We expected a lot after reading all the reviews, but unfortunately our experience wasn’t positive. At arrival there was no welcoming or information, just check in and pay. We arrived at the room and we had twin beds instead of the booked king bed (although this could also have been an agoda-booking issue). But for us the biggest negative point was that the reception staff didn’t really seem to care. If we had a question or trying to solve a problem, they didn’t try to help at all which felt often very frustrating. The restaurant staff was great though! Some other smaller negative points: there was no closet space, water didn’t always get warm, shower drain was clogged, door lock didn’t work well, no place to hang towels at all, and we could hear the neighbours so clearly that we could almost follow their conversations (I would even wake up by their alarm).

Good place to relax. Quiet. Don't worry about monkeys. Beware of mosquitoes. They can eat you.

The resort is beautiful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. The entire villa and rooms were filled with panaromic views. But the food and location were not great. We asked for bike/car rentals, the hotel management said they can't arrange for anything for that day. And it's very far from center and nothing is near by. Our entire plan for krabi got wasted.

Very nice people, especially the shuttle service driver was very nice and got us tickets to a muay thai game. Really recommend going here

Place is so beautiful. Property wise i would like to give 5 star but service was poor. Female staff is bad, very arrogant.

Very special, first class view on surrounding mountains while enjoying a fresh handmade drink or smoothie while relaxing in the pool. Service is very nice and you feel comfortable all the time. They care for everything and even bring you to the nearby seven eleven with the transfer golf cart to get everything you need that you don't find in the mini bar. I would definitely come again! 5+ star for me, just had a wonderful time here

Amazing resort and very good restaurant! We had dinner 2 times there.bbq was very good and it is not very expensive. You can use the kayaks and the bicycles around the hotel. The area is was so beautifully designed.every little detail is nice. The only things that I did not like is that at first there were a lot of mosquitos in the room but not really their fault, the ac is a bit slow but good. They also have free scheduled shuttle service which is great. Also we saw monkeys which was fun:) On Christmas day there was father christmas and he gave chocolate which added a bit of Christmas spirit.

Would definetly stay there again!

A perfect place to reside when you are in Krabi. At midst of nature surrounded with absolute beauty. Very Peaceful and serene place. You will fall in love with each minute thing at this resort!

- payed transfer from the airport

What we didn't like:
- very late check-in
- remote location
- far from the sea
- only two free transfers to the city and back

Fabulous place. Friendly staff. Awesome rooms and accommodations. I’d recommend going to town and renting a motorbike for about 28baht/day so you don’t have to depend on the shuttle. Though it runs multiple times per day, the earliest one leaves at 11 o’clock in the morning so you will have a later start to your day unless you want to pay for a private taxi with us about 150baht one way.

I would have given this place a 5 star review if the Wi-Fi wasn’t absolute garbage. Definitely glad I have a Thai SIM card but really would prefer her not to use my data while at the hotel. Overall I would totally recommend this place!

Verry nice resort. Beautiful room surrounded by a high class 5 star garden and pond. Super staff.lovely drivers that will make u a beautiful day nice food on restaurant. A bit far from town but you will have shuttle bus for free and if not aviable is gona be verry cheap to rich from town. See you again
