Pirates House Restaurant

Very good place to go to. I went there several times and all the dishes I've tried were very good, of good quality and very friendly staff. Can only recommend. It feels empty at the moment but it is due to the lack of tourists post-covid around Krabi. Very good cocktails too!

The food was good but don't order Captain Morgan with cola because what you get is definitely not Captain Morgan

When I told the staff it wasn't Captain Morgan they came with the bottle to me and let me taste it like if I was stupid It still didn't taste like captain Morgan (or rum, it was a more whiskey flavoured spirit) and the contents of the bottle didn't have the same color as Captain Morgan should have.

The portions were quite small, have to pay extra even for rice. Chicken skewers were quite good though. The restaurant was almost empty yet we waited for our food for about 30 minutes.

We ordered 2 lamb dishes, cheese Nan, and 2 mango Lassi.

Loves the lamb dishes.but the Nan was okay. The serving portions for the main dishes were pretty small.

Great Indian food.

Prices are Great as well. (Most economical option for Indian food in entire thailand we found).

Ate here two evenings in a row. The first evening I had the Thai green curry with French fries and some cocktails! The food was so tasty and I was so full afterwards! Also had the brownie with ice cream and it was so nice and the perfect portion size! French fries were served with garlic mayo and I was very happy. Arrived back the following evening and decided to order nachos chicken, pirates garlic bread and a side of French fries, again, everything phenomenal! I dined with three of my friends who had curries and pasta dishes and they also enjoyed it thoroughly! Staff are very pleasant and obliging! Would highly recommend! Food is very good for the price!

I live in Thailand and often come to Krabi for a break from Island life.

I ALWAYS go to pirates, the service is exceptional, staff are amazing and food brilliant! The owners really pride themselves on providing a good service.

I'm originally from England and we are sometimes weary of restaurants that offer multiple cuisines as we think they will do all "half ok" instead of having a"speciality" but rest assured, Pirates offer a well thought out menu, that caters to every taste and its all top notch and fresh ingredients.

Love the vibe of the restaurant here too, with both inside and outside seating. Great for drinking, snacking and eating for hours and watching the world go by. Plus you can watch English footy and formular one!

Extremely nice place, food is amazing, the place is clean and staff very friendly. We came back numerous times during all stay in Krabi

We've been a few times because they have a great vegetarian selection and the servers are very VERY attentive:). We were disappointed this most recent time as we paid nearly 200thb for what is shown in the pictures (paneer tikka masala). Maybe it was end of the night and they didn't have enough but this is wayyyy overpriced and makes us not want to come back: (too bad! The picture is also flattering to the amount of food it actually is.

The music is "interesting" when you are just there for food and the place is empty otherwise.

The Indian food was very good, but also quite pricey.

First time at the pirate house and I drove two hours to find this place. It's a cozy bar/restaurant but something was off? The staff were very quiet but attentive. The staff were standing around staring as I ate, maybe they thought I was going to dine and dash? Other employees were outside attempting to drag customers inside (maybe that's an eastern thing). Strangely, it was in the afternoon and nobody else was in the restaurant? I usually don't eat at empty restaurants, but it was a long drive, so I was committed. The food I ordered was bland (passionless for white Farang tourists) and lacking that flare when someone cooks with passion and love. In my opinion, the menu is too broad, offering to many different genre of cuisines.perhaps it would be better to focus on one style of food (indian/nepalese) and make everything fresh to perfection. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short for me.

One of the good Indian food place in krabi. Had amazing roti sabzi. Price is on the higher end but the food offered is equally delicious and fresh.
Must try if you visit krabi.

Edit: After getting some very yummy food at the restaurant, we thought we'd take some to-go. The to-go portions are much smaller than dine-in, and that's extremely disappointing. My night is ruined: (

This place went from a 5 to a 3. The Paneer Tikka Masala was 190thb and it's hardly larger than the cookie we got from down the road (container wasn't even full, it's basically what you'd leave yourself for leftovers). Burrito was 160thb and it came in a smaller size than what's offered dine-in, could be because we ordered vegetables instead of chicken, still a bummer.

I had trust, as our previous experiences were great. Today was not a good day for them I guess.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Staff are really nice. Everything was so tasty (especially the butter chicken) the house wine was lovely too. We all left full and happy. It was a little on the pricier side at 2190 bhat but we where happy overall and had 4 drinks and some sides too

The indian food was amazing. We had the pani pori as appetizers, which we had never heard of before. The server gave us some instructions on how to best eat them.
Also the malai kofta and paneer tandoori were really delicious and vegetarian. The prices are higher than in usual Thai restaurants, but definitely worth it!
Only downside, the music was loud and more fitting for a bar or beach party.

Good prices for an average food. There are some vegetarian options (the fried rice was very nice, the deep fried tofu wasn't good). Coctails for 99 baht making a good bargain.

Delicious Indian food and good value prices Friendly staff. My butter paneer and potatoes and spinach were scrumptious

Staff is really friendly and attentive. The pineapple cocktail is stong and tasty - what you should expect from a special cocktail at a pirates place ;)
We also highly recommend the mai tai and mochito. We also stopped by when we wanted to drink a cold coconut - very tasty!
