Phra nang Cave Beach

It was one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. We were on our Four Island trip and our ultimate destination was Phra Nang beach. The Cave beach is surrounded by hills in a remote island on Gulf of Thailand. The place was secluded, quaint and peaceful. We also watched the sunset from there. The experience was marvelous.

The best in Railay without a doubt. Good thing I found this beach because when I got to La de Railay it was a disappointment. The cave of the goddess of fertility without further ado, the beauty is the beach. We did not see monkeys on the way.

I've been staying on Railay for many years and this is always my favourite beach. The cliffs at each end are stunning as well as the clear blue waters. It's great here because there are no longer boats allowed in the area so it's a quiet tranquil beach. Unfortunately there are no food and beverage establishments on this beach so best bring your own drink and snacks. Of the rite aid beaches this one is the best during low tide because the water is still deep enough to swim near the beach.

And the best part is no long dangerous boat ride to an island is necessary, it's right on the mainland.

Just a short boat ride from Ao Nang beach (B200, roundtrip per person) after waiting a few minutes for the Captain to get a boatload, which takes you to Railey Beach.

Railey is a nice big beach with lots of restaurants, bars and beach oriented shops on the main walk (you can even get shrooms, beer, weed and brownies). I got a brownie and a coconut water which is my favorite.

But keep on walking down the path, making a few right turns, maybe 15 minutes until you get to Pra Nang Cave Beach. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing sugar sand!

Right next to cliffs, so you can sit in the shade if you prefer!

Lots of beautiful young people, mostly Farang, lots of kids. Even saw one family with a stroller, so that's an option.

We brought our almost 3 year old and he loved playing in the sand with his beach toys we bought in Ao Nang.

Definitely the highlight of our Christmas/New Year vacation this year in Thailand.

Highly recommend.

The most ruined beautiful place in the area. More tourists than you can count. Get there EARLY to enjoy the beach and view quietly

Incredible beach with tons of action and shade, though it can get filled up pretty quick. If you’re lucky enough, you might see a monitor lizard or a hornbill in the brush. There’s food on the shore, bathrooms behind the beach, rock climbing near the caves, and a whole lot of ocean to enjoy.

Great view and beach, try rock climbing its fun and challenging. This is a seeet spot to relax and get into the water. Sun bathing is popular here too. The view is amazing.

Very beautiful but I got food poisoning from over of those boats that sell for on the shore!
Avoid their chicken, stay safe!

Super Strand mit leider zuvielen Touristen, Boote fahren im sekunden Takt an diesen Ort, trotzdem weniger los wie am Railay Beach. Abgesehen von den vielen Touris wäre der Strand und die Aussicht hammer. Das Wasser selbst ist nicht ganz so klar und etwas trüb. Aber es lohnt sich schon diesen Ort zu sehen.

Views are amazing, there are noisy longboats, but not as many as at other beaches. A few minute walk away, there's a small store.

A nice beach to visit. Can’t give it a full score since the beach next to it, Railay, is just amazing. And has a lot more to offer, like restaurants, shops, climbing and more.
