Phi Phi Island Boat Tours

5 stars for any tour in Phi Phi, but if you are Spanish, I recommend booking with Phi Phi Latino. Fair price, hassle-free experience and enjoying the stops on the Islands as you should.

Booked a private day tour (6 hours) and was able to visit numerous beautiful places that are left out on large group trips! There was plenty of cold water during the tour, and snorkeling and swimming spots were included. We were able to organize the time at the different spots individually. The extra money is definitely well spent!

The support via email in advance went well. Can only be reached by phone somewhere in the Caribbean according to the area code.
Pick up directly on the beach in front of the hotel and personally coordinate the planned stops in advance. We booked a 4 hour sunset tour. Since we are traveling with a baby and toddler, we thought a private tour would give us a little more flexibility. We were happy to pay the extra charge for this.
Maybe we were just unlucky because everything went wrong with the tour, but our experience with the company was not good.
We waited on the beach 15 minutes before the agreed appointment. The tour should have started at 2: 30 p.m. At 3 p.m. I sent an email asking when our boat was coming. The answer came immediately. The pick-up was at our beach and the driver was already there. He wasn't. After I sent pictures of the beach that there was no boat there, it went back and forth for a while. Always by email and we went with it Baby and impatient toddler waiting the whole time in the blazing sun. In the end a boat arrived at 3: 45 p.m.
The man didn't know where our tour was supposed to go, so we had to decide the order ourselves. Difficult without local knowledge.
Of the stops we wanted to make, we were ultimately only able to make three because there wasn't enough time for more. We saw the sunset more or less from the boat, but we didn't make a stop as stated. We were back at 6 p.m. So we only had a little less than 2 hours of our booked (and paid) 4 hours! Apparently we were just unlucky because the engine on the first boat was broken. But even then you can send out information yourself (we even had a Thai phone number to call or WhatsApp.) and not tell us other stories.
We got snorkeling gear when we asked, but the snorkels were broken.
Also the “included sliced ​​fresh fruit” was exactly 2 pieces of melon.
Conclusion: We absolutely cannot recommend the company!

We booked a private tour for 2 people from Patong to Phi Phi island. The day before we accordate to pickup us in our hotel. Arrived in Phi Phi by speedboat then we jump on a longtail only for us with Bao, our guide. A little difficult to comunicate in english, I suggest you to prepare your favourite destinations before start.
The tour takes 4 hours in Phi Phi.
Trip: monkey bay, Pilh Lagoon, Loh sama bay, maya bay only from the sea "the beach is too croud", Wang long bay, Monkey beach lunch.
You decide your stops and the time you need to stay there.
Lunch: we get a quite good lunch (rice and chicken) and fresh water.

This tour was SO great and exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We had our own tour guide, Bao, take us on a wonderful guide throughout the Phi Phi Islands. It was intimate and we were able to make the tour our own…no time restrictions at stops or having to rally in a big group of other passengers. Bao was knowledgeable about the islands and allowed us time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Robert who we booked through was efficient and very responsive throughout the entire process. This was the most smooth process we had experienced in Thailand. The stated itinerary is exactly what you get with this tour. Thank you Robert & Bao for a wonderful Phi Phi Island experience!

All the location were well covered with good amount of time for each location.

Food and snacks provided right on time with good quantity and extra available too.

We booked a private longtail boat trip with Phi Phi Island Boat Tours last week.

Absolutely enjoyed our experience with Captain Hanafee. Swam with reef shark, many fish, and explored some lesser known caves.

This is a scam! They will agree to a price and then bring you to an atm half way to the final destination and require more money in order to get you home. These people should be in jail for embezzlement.

Fantastic Phi Phi Island tour operator, Robert managed the booking very well and provided awesome support throughout the tour. Kids enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming in the sea. Watching the fishes in their natural habitat is really worth every penny you spend on this tours.
Food was good, had option for Indian and Thai food. We preferred Thai food, crab was good.

Before going on our boat tour, Robert was super helpful in the booking process, and arranging a round trip van from our Airbnb to the ferry, and the round trip ferry rides to the Phi Phi islands. He answered any questions i had before meeting up and once we reached the island we were met by Hanafee who allowed us to buy drinks and snacks beforehand and showed us to the restroom before walking us to our private boat.

We weren’t 100% sure of which islands we wanted to stop at and went off of the recommendations of the crew. Their boat was bigger than expected and our group appreciated having music playing (even asked what our music preference was) and loved that we got to go snorkeling and see the monkeys on monkey beach! Unfortunately one of our friends got really bad sea sickness and Rob and his crew were very nice and patient with her, and talked her through it! I also had issues when snorkeling, since we had to dock the boat on shore for my friend we ended up having to swim out to the area where we were snorkeling and i had removed the mouth piece to the goggles and then put it back on myself, incorrectly and needed to fix it and rob helped me fix it while also helping me stay above water when i accidentally got water in my contacts and couldn’t see. Super helpful and attentive team and without them i don’t think the boat tour would have been as enjoyable!

Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a private boat tour company, it was great to not have to share the boat with strangers and amazing to have such a knowledgeable staff guiding us and showing us around the islands!

This is by far the best option for a boat tour on Koh Phi Phi. First off they guarantee you a private boat which is the best getting stuck with the crowd is a nightmare made that mistake twice before meeting Rob and getting the HOOKUP. Second Rob speaks English and Thai so he makes the booking super easy. Third they will make almost any accomidation you want on your boat, my wife and I asked for a cooler full of healthy snacks and champagne they said no problem and added it to our booking all we had to do was show up. By far one of the highlights of our 6 weeks in Thailand. This is a MUST if you are visiting phi phi.

Best boat tour company in Phi Phi, bar none. As an avid Phi Phi visitor, I had taken numerous boat tours in Phi Phi and just wished I had found this company sooner. Attentive, responsive & passionate—their services are true to their mission through and through, in providing off the beaten path tours yet very localized, customized and well thought out. You can sense the great camaraderie between Rob (the owner) & the local captains, very reflective of his passion to do something different and to champion the local businesses, a rather rare trait in the business.

Try the Sunrise tour, it starts very early but I find that to be the best part—far less crowd, calming and the sight of the sun breaking the morning is just breathtaking. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering of taking a boat tour in Phi Phi, will definitely be back for more:)

Tried these guys out for the first time. I have to say the level of knowledge and experience these fellas had was astounding. If you are looking for something different than you average boat tour you have found the right place. My group and I were so happy with our excursion they even had cold beer and music. Would do this boat tour again amazing job guys!

A picture perfect day exploring Phi Phi Islands! Found this tour while looking for a private boat tour on TripAdvisor. We picked The Explorer tour wanting to see the hidden lagoon. Definitely was not let down. My girlfriend got her "Thai boat photo" while my mate and I enjoyed some local type of melon and oranges on a small beach we had all to ourselves.
