Phi Phi Bayview Resort

I feel so scared when looking at the reviews, but I have already made the booking and can't cancel it, so I have no choice. Once I arrived, things were not like in the reviews, the views so gorgeous, staff were so kinds but needs lots of effort to walk up to the room.

Top accommodation! Some people with bad reviews complain about nothing! We stayed with a family of 8 people for 4 nights in the 'Superior Villa Garden Wing'. Despite some hesitation due to negative reviews, I absolutely do NOT understand where the negativity comes from. The rooms were spacious and clean. All towels appeared new and there were no stains on the bedding. The rooms were cleaned every day and the beds were neatly made. So great!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon arrival at the pier, we were taken to the resort by longtail boat with our luggage. The resort is wonderfully quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, but if you want to visit the hustle and bustle, you only have to walk 15 minutes. Even with our children this was no problem. Some good restaurants are within a few minutes' walking distance.

The resort is located on a slope, which makes it unique. It is true that you have to take a number of stairs or slopes to get to your room, but we and our children found this no problem at all. I'm surprised that people write so negatively about this, because the photos of the resort clearly show that it is located on a slope.

Although the swimming pool could use some renovation, our children still enjoyed playing in it for a few hours. If you're specifically looking for a luxury pool, this may not be the ideal resort for you. But the resort is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Phi Phi!

The only disadvantage we experienced is the lack of an extensive beach bar. You can order drinks (beer, water and various soft drinks), but not cocktails or fruit shakes. We would have liked more choice here.

All in all, we thought this was a very nice resort and we would DEFINITELY return if we are on the island again. Although there are undoubtedly more luxurious resorts, you also pay considerably more for them! The value for money was excellent!

A very nice place at the border of the jungle and the sea, the accommodation was quite outdated and definitely needs to be renovated but WiFi and air conditioning work very well. Definitely not suitable for people with limited mobility as all cabins are on a steep hill.the beach and the sea are nice, but very shallow, not suitable for swimming, but families with small children may appreciate it more than me. The staff is very nice and solves the problem within their ability immediately. The pool was clean, but at the end of the resort, so quite far from any service. The pool bar was closed during my stay. I have a very positive opinion of the hotel's shuttle boat, which ran every two hours to the Ton Sai pier and back and was free.

Nice resort with beautiful sea views. The employees are very friendly and the rooms are always cleaned if you want them to be.

Rooms are pretty basic and could do with a bit of work. The windows & doors don't seal meaning mosquitos almost have a free entry into your room however, they have put screens across the windows which I have removed and sprayed with jungle formula around the edges. I have done the same with the door and so far so good.

Worth it for the location. My villa looks across to Maya Bay and Monkey Bay. The private beach at the front of the reception is mind blowing. I'd stay here again for that alone

Everything was perfect with this Hotel. Location a bit far from town about 1km walk but you will get best scenary with private beach. They also provide shuttle service by longtail boat to carry your luggage for check in and check out.

My recent stay at Bayview Resort in Phi Phi Island was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, this resort managed to disappoint at every turn, leaving me utterly frustrated and regretful of my decision to stay there.

Let's start with the customer service, or rather, the lack thereof. The staff at the reception were shockingly rude and unhelpful. Instead of providing assistance or addressing my concerns, they seemed more interested in ignoring guests or treating them with outright disdain. Their complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction was appalling and left a lasting negative impression.

Moving on to the amenities, they were nothing short of terrible. Upon entering my room, I discovered that the bathroom tap barely worked, and the hot water was intermittent at best. It was impossible to take a proper shower without enduring sudden temperature changes. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom was abysmal, with dirt and grime evident in every corner. It was clear that the management had neglected basic maintenance and hygiene standards.

But the disappointment didn't end there. To reach my room, I had to embark on a treacherous uphill walk for a grueling 15 minutes, all without any assistance from the staff. This lack of consideration and absence of prior communication about such limitations was unacceptable. I expected a resort of this caliber to at least inform guests about the challenging trek they would have to endure. Instead, it felt like they were simply indifferent to guests' comfort and convenience.

It's important to highlight that Bayview Resort failed miserably in meeting even the most basic expectations. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, combined with the dire condition of the amenities, made it clear that they cared little about the comfort and well-being of their guests.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Bayview Resort in Phi Phi Island. The horrendous customer service, rude staff, inadequate amenities, and lack of prior communication about limitations make this resort an absolute disaster. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different accommodation option that values its guests and delivers on its promises. Bayview Resort's business practices and lack of commitment to customer satisfaction should serve as a cautionary tale for anyone considering a stay there.

Great Location, very beautiful view from the room, but for the basic rooms you have to climb the mountain and its very hectic so its preferred to book Oceanview rooms which are easily accessible and offers great view. Rooms can be bit improved, receptionist was not so welcoming infact bit rude.best thing about it was that it has its own little beach which is not so crowdy

Beautiful view of the bay and near by islands. Room is clean and has air conditioning and a fan, a great balcony, it is also very quiet. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The down sides are, the walk to the bungalows is steep, uneven and in places slippery. The bathroom is functionable but really unattractive, the bed is hard and breakfast is limited, also the front part of the resort needs a revamp and a good clean. I would go back as the price is very reasonable and the view is lovely.

Functional and tidy private lodges, with the occasional feline visitors. Plenty of space to sunbathe on the balcony. Bit of a walk into town but nice and quiet, just prepare for a short beach walk to get there.

The property is a very secluded one from the hustle bustle of the pier and the main beaches. It is infact the last one in the area in terms of location.

So if you want to stay near the cafes and beaches, then you can avoid this.
The rooms are preety good in terms of pricing and the views is amazing as it is located in uphill.
The service was decent.

If you are lucky with the room, you will have an amazing view over the beach. Otherwise the lounge area at the beach will do for a nice sunset.
Rooms can be quite far out and steep to reach, consider this if you have mobility problems.
One minor problem is that there is nobody at the reception early morning and late night.
The a la carte food is not bad and at a good price.

Pretty basic rooms. The island itself doesn’t have much luxury which is fine we still had fun. The AC worked and they had breakfast in the mornings. The one thing that might be hell is the walk to your rooms. It’s very hilly and can be a bit much with luggage. They have carts to assist you to your rooms. The hotel staff was very helpful with telling us what was going on and things to do.

Its beautiful resort in phi phi Islands with awesome beach in front. The Bayview Phi Phi Beach Resort consists of 154 split-level bungalows situated on the hillside of the Laem Hin Beach and surrounded by thick trees.

Staff is super friendly and they usually send a boat to pick you up from the dock, so you don't have to worry about walking with your suitcases all the way over there.

But be prepared to walk quite some, these are lovely little cabins on a hill. Each cabin splits in 2 big rooms, only observation is that if your neighbours are noisy it's easy for you to hear them through the wall.

The hotel has a good restaurant right next to the beach, but it is not even a 10 minute walk away from all the restaurants and bars were you can have amazingly good food.

Extremely steep hills to get to your room, so you better be fit or get driven up from reception lol! I was at the peak so there was great views. The room was OK, clean sheets and nets for mosquitoes, bathroom was 5/10, toilet is clean but shower underwhelming and could be maintained and cleaned better! Overall decent room for the price in the island! If you want to save money and have good views it's not a bad place to stay!

Absolutely beautiful. Location is great, nice and quiet away from the main stretch of Phi Phi chaos, but not too far of a walk (15 minutes). Unfortunately the place seemed very understaffed. There were dishes left on the footpath and bags of rubbish just sitting anywhere.
Easily 5 stars if they just spent that tiny bit extra to ensure the place was cleaned and we'll staffed.

We were put in a terrible room in the first place, then asked to switch. We were then put in a better room the next day. Very very steep hills to your room.
