Such great hostel to spend some days or weeks in Koh Lanta. Haven’t tried all places, but I’d call it best hostel in the island!
Such good atmosphere. Amazingly friendly staff. Great vibes! With a great bar just underneath!

They offer even free yoga for the guest!

If you are sensitive to mold, avoid this place! The 8-bed dorm had an obvious smell of mold and we all had a headache and felt ill because of it. The dorm also wasn't clean. We left early.

There was a big language barrier but the hosts tried their best. Check-in was hastily done and in the end, turned out that they didn't understand how many days we wanted to book. Apart from the chalkboard with our names on it, no one made us feel welcome.

My fiancé and I booked 3 nights and added 2 more on because we loved it so much! Clean beds, hot showers, and refillable water. Can’t beat the morning breakfast, the amazing yoga for guests, or the Little Box bar below! Quick walk to Long Beach. Grateful to experience this place! Thanks for the stay!

A good place to chill and meet other travelers.non la mer is located a short walk from Long Beach with good eateries around.love their open space with hammocks to rest out the hot afternoon sun.there's ongoing construction out front so it can be a little dusty and tricky to get to the hostel front, hopefully it'll be all smooth after completion.beds are comfortable, love their big locker space and there's also a small space behind the bed head for frequent used personal items.non la mer offers many options for stay in Koh Lanta, and many are for budget travelers.i rented a bike to explore the beaches which was fun.the breakfast is great cuz the island tends to be more quiet in the mornings.staff Nora is really friendly and helpful, love her for being such a champ to help always!

It was looking cool the common space.
But there are some little problems:
- the shower is not on the same floor with the rooms
-the cleaning is made superficial, I've find garbage on my bed
- the lockers are metal and very dirty
But the biggest problem that i had, it was the staff attitude: indifferent, bad manners, never smiling, never happy

I loved staying at Non La Mer! Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful, there is a great chill area with hammocks and cushions and free yoga twice a week with Nora, who is an amazing instructor. It’s clean and quiet with adorable cats, some musical instruments, free eggs/toast/coffee/etc for breakfast. Highly recommend.

I love non la mer! Owner Nora is so nice, offering a simple but quality space with good price in Koh Lanta. They friendly provided me with all the informations for my trip. Highly recommend! They have yoga, cats, and any booking services.

Good place overall. I just don't like the no shoes policy as the floor is actually very dirty, I never had my feet clean, so I had to wear my flip flops after shower to keep it clean.
Overall it's a good place, next to a bank to change currency, close to the beach and a few good restaurants around.

Absolutely awesome hostel! The dorms were very clean and the shared bathrooms were good too. Scooter rental was only 150 baht (they hold passport), and the beach was a few mins walk with plenty of restaurants around. The bar underneath the hostel is awesome too, lively pretty much every night and drinks are 80 baht, 60 for beer. Chill out space is good and had pillows + hammocks, drinking water is available and staff can book tours for ya (check out the 600 baht 4 island tour).

Great Hostel, met tons of amazing people and the staff is super cool and friendly. The tours and transfers through the hostel are also much cheaper then anywhere else. One minor gripe would be that the blanket is absolutely tiny and covers only half of your body at a time. Found that very annoying personally

Booked to stay here for 3 nights and ended up staying 5. Staff are so amazing, they offer to take you around Koh Lanta to different parties, beaches and parks. Was a little quiet for a party hostel but I think that’s just because it wasn’t high season. Nice communal area, breakfast in the morning and free yoga every day! Definitely recommend

Having been in many hostels over the past few months, non Le mer Hostel tops them all. Staff are just so incredibly kind. They'll do anything they can for you to try and make your experience better. We were only meant to stay there for 2 days but that turned into 7 very quickly. Myself and my friend took part in the free yoga classes every morning. Such a great way to start your morning. Everything from the beds to the water pressure in the showers is all perfect. I cannot recommend this hostel more. Thank you guys!

Cozy place, dorms are pretty nice. Staff is friendly and you can rent a scooter there for 150 baht a day (good price). The only things I could complain about are that the some things are defect (1 toilet and soap etc) and don't get repaired so quickly and that the included breakfast ends at 10pm which is too early in my opinion

Very cozy hostel with a large and well equiped common room down by the reception, where people can hangout together or you can just relax for ex.in a hamock on your own. A breakfast was included. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Non La Mer is a great hostel with a decent social scene even during the low season. The hostel is located really close to the beach and has scooters and bikes to rent for exploring the island. The staff are very helpful and can help organise onward travel and give advise on travels. The breakfast is good and makes the price excellent value. Beds and rooms are well spaced and air conditioned. Would recommend to anyone

This is a great hostel for socializing and meeting new people. The rooms were a bit cramped but the beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. My only complaint is that the common area was also the unofficial smoking area. If you aren't a smoker like me, this gets irritating very quickly. For that reason only, I won't be returning here next time I'm in Koh Lanta.

The dorms are crammed with too many bunk beds and the lockers are not big enough to put your backpack so everyone ends up having to try and find a place to keep there backpacks and there is no space to put anything or even walk around. The walls are paper thin and they allow people to be in the common area until 5 am screaming so do not stay here if you want a good night sleep before diving, or going on an excursion. I prepaid for two nights and ended up just leaving after the first night. In general there are a ton of nicer hostels in this area.
