Narima Bungalow Resort

I ate here twice as a guest and wasn’t staying at the hotel.

It’s tucked away in a really quiet part of Koh Lanta and we were so pleased to find it as our hotels food wasn’t satisfactory.

It is my third trip to Thailand and it was so nice to find some food that had a more authentic Thai taste.

I would recommend dining around sunset, watching the sun set over the sea in a pink/purple sky and then enjoying the views, wildlife (geckos, crabs and hermit crabs). They have decorated it beautifully with bamboo light designs.

The hotel and pool looks lovely! If we stay in Koh Lanta again we will try there! Also the staff were really friendly and polite. The food came out quickly.

A couple of things to mention….
Wear bug spray. The insects were out in full force.
We sat on the beach and the ocean breeze wasn’t strong enough to keep us cool and we didn’t see any fans inside.

We didn't spend the night there, just visited the beach bar. It's nicely done and the service was OK too.

We've been happy at Narima thanks to the location between the beach and the jungle, with extraordinary wildlife and vegetation, and an amazing swimming pool by the sea. BUT we were also quite frustrated and even dismayed by the service (staff avoiding contact and running away from english / staff actively scaring us away from renting motorcycles while we both have driving license and the hotel is very isolated with no walkable road / staff refusing to give us a hint on the amount to expect from the tuktuk they call for us / staff watching us way too often). The quality of the food is ridiculous even for very simple meals and yet very pricey (I wish I took a picture of their grilled cheese sandwich and chips.would have been okay in a plane, not in a SHA plus resort.). Drinks are okay. It is also important to be aware that the beach is beautiful with a nice sunset view but quite impractical for swimming because of many rocks hidden quite everywhere. Finally, the bathroom is quite disappointing with a very short cord and low pressure. These are serious points to consider BUT once again, the feeling to stay in a nice easy little piece of a jungle with funny noises at night and the chance to see monkeys here and there were worthy for us. The main tip I would address to future guests is to enjoy their stay but to check out other options for everything related to food, transportation and excursions and be aware that they can walk up to a restaurant 5 minutes away that serves not only much better but also much less expensive food in a very pleasant setting with a beautiful view on the sea.

Very nice accommodation, peaceful with cheap scooter rental, staff very nice and helpful. The only thing that i would say needs improvement is showers, water pressure was a bit low and breakfast could have more vegetables and fruits but generally very good place and i would stay there again

Great place for a family vacation with children. Beautiful beach, cozy bungalows and good food.

Price quality is not very good. Accommodation generally comfortable. Reception staff very friendly, restaurant staff not so much. Location is beautiful.

There was nothing that we have missed. It is perfect. Beautiful private beach. Quiet. Very good food. Nice staff.

This is our favorite place in Thailand, period. You don't come for luxury or state of the art facilities, but you come for an atmosphere of pure bliss and peace. The most beautiful private beach with bar and restaurant and some of the best food in the southern part of Thailand.
Best of all; if you are a small children's family like us, this place is filled with familie with kids and my children didn't want to leave again. We spent three weeks there (!).

We got a bungalow in row c which doesn't offer a good view but it does offer a good price. The private beach is great. Don't bother renting snorkeling gear because there isn't a lot to see in the water. Staff was reasonablely friendly. Breakfast is included. The omelettes were really good, but the rest of the food was cold which was unexpected. Overall a great place to stay.

Sehr schickes Hotel mit viel Platz:) obwohl das Hotel während unseres Aufenthaltes ausgebucht war, waren immer liegen frei und man hatte nie das Gefühl das Hotel sei überfüllt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Leckeres Restaurant!

Stayed in a Beach view bungalow. Excelent service, right from the pick up at the ferry dock. Good food. Nice pool and beach. Great for children.

Schöne ruhige Lage im Wald, schöne Bungalows, toller Strand und super Essen. Nicht zu vergessen der super freundliche Service. Für mich ein Top Tipp auf Koh Lanta. Mir gefallt auch, dass alles etwas einfach, nicht so stylish, ist.

Beautiful resort, very nice pool and private beach, good restaurant (pretty cheap considering it's right on the beach), breakfast wasn't so great for such a resort (food was cold and basic). Very confortable room with AC and nice bed. Scooter rental available for 300b a day.

Value for money - excellent service with a great breakfast! Loved the natural setting of the huts

My girlfriend came off her bike outside this place and the nice staff patched her up and gave her some dressing and antiseptic drops to take away!

Nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff.
Been here at low season, very quiet place (that's what me and my wife were looking for) with nice food and beautiful views.
High ceilings in bungalow is a great advantage.
Service is not excessive and annoying (extra 5stars from me for this)
Proper size parking for your rental car.
Bottomline: totally worth it!

Way more beautiful and large than I thought from their website. Very charming staff. Super peaceful atmosphere.

We loved our stay here. The bungalows were clean with huge balcony and hammocks. The staff were super friendly and the 3 pools flowing into each other whilst overlooking the beach were great! The Narima had its own private beach although a bit rocky and difficult to swim at low tide. They have motorbikes to rent and a beach bar/restaurant. All beautifully decorated. Great breakfasts! Bring mozzie repellant!
