Marina Express - FISHERMAN - Aonang

Staff are awesome specially Receptionist called Perry, I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are clean and wide. Very quite and nice for couples. Easy access to too many Halal shops. Down the building many of fasciitis like wash mashine, touring offices, exchange, near to night market, neat Ao Nang beach, has touring plans.

I really liked the hotel! I stayed in different hotels in Ao Nang. Very cozy, great price! I recommend visiting. Everything you need is also within walking distance!

It was amazing experience staying in this hotel for 4 days.the location is great and near to the beach, rooms are big and has amazing view.and special thanks to Ai, parry and gift to being so friendly and making our time in the hotel really enjoyable.

Service Excellent, Facilities Excellent, Clean, all is Excellent. Worthy paying to stay in this hotel. Easy excess to Ao-nang Beach, near to Islamic center. Overall I rate 5 star.

Really enjoyed our stay. About 10 mins walk from the beach. Mosque nearby and prayers can be heard few times a day.

Die Lage ist super, man läuft nicht lange zum Strand und es ist schön ruhig (mit Ausnahme des Muezzins morgens, aber den konnten wir bereits am zweiten Morgen ausblenden ;-) ).

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Overall experience was pleasing, almost as much satisfied to give 5 star rating; However, the receptionist / room service disappointed us. Hence, a star less.

Pros:
1. Absolutely clean and well kept rooms.
2. Very comfortable bed - not too hard, not too soft. Just perfect.
3. Perfect ambience to match the hotel name. Fishes, boats, everywhere.
4. Great location. Everything is nearby. Way many restaurants serving Thai, Indian, Malay, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern are at stone's throw. A McDonald's is also at 5 minute's walk. Many massage parlours, pharmacies, 7-eleven shops are nearby.
5. One can book a shuttle bus from airport for mere THB150 per person and tell the bus driver to drop at Marina Express. He'll drop you without missing it.
6. Clean swimming pool, scenic surrounding for great photography in anf around the hotel.
7. Cliff view rooms are recommended to experience that perfectly scenic morning.

Cons:
1. Unreasonable rules of the hotel -
e.g. Only 1 litre water will be provided per day (which is fine), but no water will be provided on the day of check out! ! !
Water bottles will be provided only at the time when house keeping does its job.
2. Somewhat rude, non-customer-friendly receptionist. They say 'No' to almost every request you make.
3. No vegetarian food available in the attached restaurant. But that's not a deal breaker as many other restaurants are available nearby.

Have stayed at this place three times (should have been four this summer, but due to covid19 we were not able to travel.).
We´ve had a deluxe room twice, ok rooms with a very nice bed and a small sofa. Vi really liked the decor in our rooms, hip and cool to our taste!
The third time we stayed at a one of the villas, and that was really great! Huge and spacious, with the best bed and pillows!
The girls working there was so cute and above all, serviceminded - one of the reasons we had plans to come back.
Its a little walk from the beach, but you will get there in a few minutes. The pool is small, not to deep - but it will cool you down whenever you need a dip!
The breakfast has a huge variety to choose from, and they also have great coffee (of you´re into that!)

Good clean room with mini fridge items included in room price. They provide beach towel and umbrella. They provide all amenities so it's easy to plan everything else. Its almost 1km far from the beach but can hire tuk tuk to avoid walk. The breakfast was simple with not much variety buy still it was good.

Its cheap, its lovely, its clean and its near to everything.walking distance from Ao Nang mosque u can clearly hear the beautiful adhan.

One of the best hotels we´ve ever stayed. Fantastic breakfast, spacy room, breathtaking views, nice pool.we felt amazing in this place and we recommend it a lot.
Just note that a few times during the day (and night) there is a loud prayer coming from nearby mosque.

Great location. Go up or down from there to find everything within your reach. That street is full of Several restaurants and small shops for souvenirs

Nice decoration but unprofessional service/staff. Keep in mind 4 star hospitality is not just a room with a bed (which was at actually pretty good). Pool bar close at afternoon, no additional service. They charge a credit card fee of 4%.
Overall experience is not satisfying.

Beautiful place to stay. Had a king size bedroom with flowers all over it for our honeymoon and were given delicious juice upon check in. Nice clean bright rooms. Pool is clean and shaded with lots of beautiful trees and greenery. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant at the hotel was fairly expensive- much cheaper options at the restaurant or street food long the road. 15 minute walk to the beach with great shops along the way.
Only thing that we found disruptive was the early morning wake up call of 5: 15am from the mosque down the road. They have 2 early morning prayers over a loud speaker to the street and again around 4pm. This is out of the hotels control completely but just for other guests to know.
Fantastic stay overall and would recommend to others.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are quite small but it's value for money. They have a nice spread for breakfast if you are a non vegetarian. Very few options for vegetarians. Hotel is located approximately 10-15 mins from the Ao nang beach and you have plenty of stores and hotels around the hotel.

It's a beautiful hotel with warm staff and great interiors. It's at walking distance from the beach and has street markets nearby which also give you lot of options for street food.

Strongly say that this is not value for money. Poor breakfast with no vegetarian options. No hangers are Available in bathroom and washroom even to hang towels.
