Příjemný resort pár desítek metrů od moře, kde je možné koupání i za odlivu. Ceny startují na 25$ za chatku s koupelnou, balkonem.

A pleasant resort a few tens of meters from the sea, where swimming is possible even at low tide. Prices start at $25 for a cabin with bathroom and balcony.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with 9 of us over xmas and new year. The Deluxe Double rooms are clean and confortable, with nice balconies and have that thai rustic charm. The pool area needs a little love and attention but is still really nice, and the coconut fountains are quite charming and make you smile. The resort has a small path that directly connects you to the beach so it is really close and easy to get to the bars and watch the epic sunsets.

We found the staff to be exceptionally accomodating and helpful. We asked for a change in room and they did this straight away with no complaints, we asked to rent their bbq and cook by the pool and they not only let us, they set up lights for us too. Any time you need a taxi they arrange it within 10 minutes and you can rent bikes, do your washing and arrange tourist day trips with them. They really do everything!

I would recommend spending more and going for the aircon Deluxe rooms with garden or pool views, as the cheaper rooms are much smaller and no where near as nice. If you do not plan to rent a bike or have a car, it is a bit out the way compared to places nearer to Saladan but there is still lots on restaurants and bars on the beach to visit and enough on the road side too. Overall, we had a fantastic time and we would recommend!

Great choice for if you’re travelling on a budget & there is a huge swimming pool, which is sometimes quite rare. Not even a minutes walk from the beach. The bungalows are pretty basic, but do the job, you get what you pay for basically! Would definitely stay again:)

A good stay at a decent price.

Pros:

Friendly service. We arrived early but could check in and were shown to our bungalow.

Breakfast included is nice, you get an apple juice, choice of tea or coffee and eggs cooked either fried, scrambled or omelette, as well as 2 pieces of toast and a jam. We went for fried and they were nice.

The pool is fantastic, the largest we've seen. It was cleaned daily and not chemically.

The location is great, it's a 2/3 minute walk to the beach.

We were able to book a speedboat with transfer at the resort for a fair price.

Cons:

The WiFi is fast but you can't get signal in some parts of the room. I guess this depends on which bungalow you're in.

The rooms could do with a little TLC but they're generally OK. Upon entering the room we discovered a cockroach in the bathroom but that was easily dealt with and discarded down the hole in the floor. An hour or so later a massive spider (I think a huntsman?) almost the size of my hand crawled across the walls and into the ceiling. Not the owner's fault obviously but definitely alarming for arachnophobes.

The shower was insanely powerful. As in painfully. Felt like what I imagine a riot van's water cannon feels like. Because its so powerful it doesn't stay in the holder and flies about, you're better off turning it down and holding it. It also had no hot water but not the end of the world.

We booked 2 nights stay here & couldn't even stay 1 night. Upon arrival the staff were none accommodating & unfriendly. They booked us in & showed us to our villa without 1 word spoken.the villa or hut was old & run down. No aircon like recommended, holes & half wrotten floors & steps. The bathroom was leaking water & smelt like mold. The bed was ancient, hard & with a fly net. The photos on here are very misdeceiving. 2mins to the beach through mud, long grass & through an ally to get to the beach, we found a lovely bar & restaurant on the beach. We had to forfeight our 585 baht too move next door for an extra 400 baht, which was way more accommodating, aircond, clean & with decent service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have stayed in backpackers places a lot nicer & cheaper then this place.

Nice resort to stay but a little bit expensive. Maybe on high season, cost u 1 300bht/night. Quite far from seaside, u have to walk about 500m. But have a nice swimming pool with coconut decoration.

We stayed in a bamboo bungalow, it is very clean especially the bathroom area. Very nice shower and toilet with open ventilation. The fan in the room does wonders and has a mosquito net for the critters. Location is prime, with cool bars and beach near by. Loved our stay, wish we could've stayed longer.

For the price of the little cabin on legs rooms this is an ideal castaway beach experience. I extended my stay twice. My cabin would suite two easily two single beds with a large (relative) bathroom and shower room, ac in the room that’s great. Note you have to put a sign out for room clean otherwise they will not come in at all. You are a short stroll to the beach where you can find multiple beach bar restaurants I particularly like the Sanctuary second down on the left. A kicked back space and brings you back in time to basic levels with kool music and you can even jam with them. The beers cold and feeling laid back. Note also Sunny House does not serve alcohol but the beach bars do, also the included breakfast lacks choice eggs or fruit everyday that doesn’t change.

And what a sunny place it is! Arrived and greeted by lovely staff who showed us to our simple bungalow. Lovely bed, fan, with the all important mosquito net. Great location right next to the beach with fantastic bars around. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling on a tight budget wanting a little comfort!

For the price the stay there was absolutely enjoyable! The staff was nice and trying their best. Woke up one morning and the pool water was brown and not usable, but the crew tried their best, to fix the problem asap. If you are travelling on a budget, this place is a nice choice. Oh and it's super close to the beach! The pool is excellent!

Nice place with easy acess to the beach and swimming pool, I stayed in a bangalo with fam, but I reccomend one with air conditioning, they are also better designed, bring repellent with you.

We are staying at Sunny House and currently half way through our stay of 9 nights. It's a lovely resort offering meals and swimming pool as well as access to south east end of long beach. Long beach is 3.5km long and while there are intermittent resorts there are also portions of untouched forested land which makes the beach less saturated. Wifi is good throughout the resort over several networks so be sure to check signal strengths if you're by the pool etc.

A bit disappointed with hotel. Dated bungalows, need improvement. Was eaten by ants at night as big gaps in floorboards. Air-conditioning is very loud, could not sleep with it running. As soon as u turn it off room is getting hot as insulation is non existent. Breakfast is complete let down. It should be advertised as morning snack Included. One egg, one toast, butter, juice or fruits, coffee or tea. Just don't bother and go to local cafe. Swimming pool was alright but water is way too green, need to be changed more regularly. It was changed on last day, made huge difference. We'll we wanted to save a bit of money, I guess u get what you pay for. In Ao Nang we had a cheaper hotel which was a way better. We did not spend a lot of time in hotel so I give it 3 stars as location of hotel is good next to the long beach, but if you plan to spend lots of time in hotel or next to swimming pool - look elsewhere.

Stayed here with a group of friends for our 3 nights on Ko Lanta. First I'll give the positives:
1) great location, it's a very quick ride from Saladan pier, and the stretch of road within walking distance of the resort has a TON of great restaurants and bars
2) direct beach access to what I would say is the cleanest and least rocky stretch of Long Beach
3) Mostly* friendly and helpful staff
Now the cons, and there were quite a few:
The bungalows are very run down, definitely not as nice as in the pictures on booking (dot) com. There were no less than 4 gaps in the physical construction of the bungalow (around cieling, doorframe etc) that were large enough for light and bugs to get in through. Water pressure is basically non-existent, a "quick" shower would take no less than 15 minutes and the shower head refused to stay upright until we McGayvered a makeshift harness with some hair ties. Our drain also collapsed on the first day and actually fell through the floor, and because there was no plumbing reaching out to the drain, this made another huge hole for bugs to fly in through. Additionally, the light switch to the bathroom inexplicably also turns on a very bright light in the room, so good luck going to the bathroom at night without waking up your roommates. Our safe was broken upon arrival. One of the staff tinkered with it for about 5 minutes before shrugging and leaving. When we attempted to deadbolt the house at night, we realized the deadbolt is broken as well - as the door is just not properly aligned with the frame (see previous note about gaps in construction). The beds were hard, but at least the pillows we're fluffy and comforter soft. At the end of our second day, after coming back from dinner, we couldn't open the door. The lock constantly gave us trouble because of the misalingment, so we jiggled the knob again, and the key broke off inside the keyhole. We waited for about 10 minutes until someone came and unjammed it, and gave us a spare key. Finally we get to the pool. I thought for sure the pool would redeem the rest of this place as it looked well maintained and very clean when we first arrived. To my dismay, when we went to go swimming on the second day, the water had turned an unsavory green, likely from cheaping out on cleaning agents. We went swimming in the ocean instead for the rest of the stay. We are on a long trip here in Thailand, so overall I'm not bitter about the stay like I might have been if this ended up being my entire stay. Book other accommodations if possible.

Very friendly service, excellent and inexpensive food, especially for breakfast. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable and well equipped. The air-conditioning works almost too well. The location is also great, right next to long beach with a seven eleven around the corner. The pool is perfect for the evening and during the day. The scooters we rented were in excellent condition with a full tank of gas for a fair price. Probably one of the best budget hotels in Koh Lanta.

Poorly maintained hotel. Low quality of bungalows comparing to the price. Badly smelling bathroom. Worms in 2 of bungalows we've been. In first 2 houses that we've been to during our stay windows didn't open. In the one we've finally accepted windows did open but a fan wasn't working properly which was inconvenient with over 30 degrees C outside and high humidity. In the bungalow we've stayed in there was only one socket to charge our phones and use other electrical and electronical devices.
The staff is kind and tries to be helpful. Stars are for the location and a swimming pool.
