Lanta Resort

Big resort! Took a while for us to walk to the beach, so when we rented our scooter from the hotel we would end up riding down to the beach. Best times to visit the beach are in the morning when the water is nice and high, at sunset, and late at night when you can see the phyto-plankton glowing in the sand with the waves.

The room was very nice and the air conditioner worked well. When ours broke, they moved us to another room promptly.

We did not get the breakfast. But the room service was very quick and pretty good.

This resort is a nice, budget friendly, family oriented resort. The grounds are a bit outdated and could use some upkeep, however, the pool areas are very nice. Also the resort is located directly on the beach with a restaurant and bar available. The room that we had was clean and the a/c worked almost too well. It was very nice and cold. The breakfast was average for hotel breakfasts, offering eggs, breads, pastries, different local fair and fresh fruit and coffee. They offer a tourist guide area in the lobby that set us right up with motorbikes and tickets for the ferry back to the mainland. Would not recommend this place if you're trying to meet new people, a lot of families and couples. Swedish culture rules here.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, wir hatten die Poolvilla und die war super gepflegt und sauber echt tolle Villa sehr privat. Was uns aber gestört hat war das Rauchen in der ganzen restlichen Anlage inklusive im Restorante am Strand im freien verboten war, deshalb haben wir auch nie dort gegessen bzw uns in der Anlage aufgehalten schade.

I would’ve rated it 5* if only the staff was a bit more helpful and the breakfast improved.

All in all, we had a superb time here in the low season. The hotel was pretty much empty and we just drove by and got hooked.

There’s a restaurant by the beach, with an awesome breeze to cool down with some drinks. If that doesn’t do it for you, there are a number of restaurants and bars along the beach.

The sunset is amazing and should be experienced every day.

A very nice hotel. The beds were a bit hard but this is gripe at a high level. The location of the hotel was great, as you could walk a lot and it is easier to rent a moped directly from the hotel. It's really fun to drive such a part and costs about 8 € a day. We were able to drive completely from Koh Lanta. The staff is very friendly and helpful the food was not the best now but you could already eat it for breakfast. The pool is nice and it takes less than 5 minutes to the beach.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Die Betten waren etwas hart aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Der Standort des Hotels war super, da man einiges zu Fuß erreichen konnte wobei es leichter ist direkt beim Hotel sich ein Moped auszuleihen. Macht auch wirklich Spaß so ein Teil zu fahren und kostet ca 8€ am Tag. Wir konnten somit komplett Koh Lanta abfahren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit das Essen war jetzt nicht das beste aber man konnte es als Frühstück schon essen. Der Pool ist schön und zum Strand dauert es keine 5 Minuten.

Ok hotel that has potential to be good.
Rooms are good, but there is nothing exeptionally great in the rooms. The tv is a waste of space, its huge and awful. Our airconditioner didnt always work like it should. Another con was that sometimes the cleaner lady didnt left us any towels in the room.

All 3 pools are good and warm enough. There are two bigger deep pools and 1 shallow pool. They are clean and have enough space.

The worse thing about the whole hotel in my opinion was the breakfast. The space was limited and the food not so great. The local foods werent that great and there was no cheese, bacon, nor anything else good to put on a sandwich.

Beach is close and its ok. Exept you cant swim when there is low tide because of the millions of large rocks.

The staff is nice and helpful. And the vehicle renting service was pretty cheap and easy.

Nice rooms, nice pool. Good ac. Very impersonal place no soul. Not my cup of tea. Good standards over all. Not recommended

Sauber, freundlich und wirklich weitläufig.
Frühstück okay, jedoch Bahnhofhallenatmosphäre.

If you like fines for not eating plate totally empty.fines if cleaning lady dont find your free water bottle when its empty or big fines 100.000 bath for smoking on wrong place then this is a place for you. Check pictures. Will add the rest of fine signs later. Yes they love fine signs

Avoid.
Incompetent management.
Stayed a while back.
Booked thru agoda a bungalow next to the beach.
Upon arrival hotel could not find the booking. Reception staff arrogant.
Aircon and phone in the room did not work. Had to change rooms.
Hence I recommend to avoid this hotel.

Restaurant it isn't great for dinning in and room as mosquitos all the time (something difficult to get ready of) everything is very good. Customer service is good, super clean, in front of the beach, swimming very nice and clean.perfect for every traveler

Excellent rooms and bungalows on the beach. Two big swimming pools with Jacuzzis. Perfect family resort.

This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. And don't waste money for the horrible breakfast there.

Really loved this place. The villas was really big, bed was comfortable, bathroom is massive and there's a jacuzzi in the garden. Yes, that's right. You get your own garden

Great place with awesome location. Resort is HUGE. They offer scooter rentals, dinner/drinks on the beach.

Saw bioluminescence right outside resort in the beach which was cool.

Very comfortable and clean resort. It’s quite large and beautifully landscaped. You can choose bungalows by the beach close to beach front restaurants and bars, or relaxed accommodations by the large and sunny pool. Very nice breakfast buffet and omelet station.

Awesome place for families or groups of friends. The rooms have good AC but only decent WiFi. The pools are very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Overpriced, run down and unfriendly resort. Was harassed by an old Swedish fella at pool. With half the money you can do one hundred times better in Koh Lanta. Don't stay here!
