Lanta Nice Beach Resort

In itself a beautifully located resort directly on a beautiful beach. As the name suggests, the only “nice” thing is the beach and the resort.
Unfortunately, we were unlucky and received a very outdated, unrenovated room. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired.but the worst thing was dampness in the entire room and the resulting mold stains on the walls. Since we couldn't be given another room, we decided to change hotels after one night. The staff was very nice and accommodating and refunded us the price for the remaining nights. For the same price we have stayed much better.
However, there are two stars for the location and the staff.

It's a shame the place is not bad, you can eat with your feet in the sand, the small swimming pool is nice but there are 2 sides to this hotel, the beach side is nice but I haven't seen the rooms, and the garden side where we were, our room was dilapidated bordering on unsanitary, the photos do not correspond to reality a bit like everywhere but here it is obvious. I think for the price you can find better in Lanta.

Oh dear, where do I start with this review…
The rooms (bungalows) look nothing like the pictures you see when booking. Ours were run down, extremely basic and with several items damaged - wardrobe doors hanging on one hinge, toilet not flushing, shower falling apart, hair dryer not working, aircon extremely noisy. Whole place looked like someone painted it in a massive rush with paint on the mirrors, furniture etc. When we reported all this to reception, their answer was: “you booked cheap rooms so that’s what it is”. We arrived very late so had no choice but to stay the night. Checked out first thing after breakfast and found better and cheaper hotel nearby.
Btw, breakfast was also poor, with instant coffee on offer.
The only good things about this place is okay location with eating area facing the sea and that the staff were not too difficult with arranging a refund. Also, we left some items behind when leaving in a rush and they kept them and returned to us when we came back - that’s why I gave 2 stars for service. All in all - avoid, there are much better options on Ko Lanta.

Restaurant to avoid. Overpriced and terrible service. We asked for 3 grilled fish, they arrived after over an hour of waiting and to apologize they brought us a plate of fruit. The fish was good and fresh but a little overcooked and one had partially stuck to the foil during cooking. For the prices it is absolutely not worth it.

I cannot rate the accommodation, we live privately. The restaurant and the beach are great. Pleasant and fast service, a large selection of tasty dishes at reasonable prices. Great party on 24.12.and 31.1.23 with an excellent party and an entertaining program
It's a pity that there are no sunbeds with umbrellas, they are available for free next door at the Harry sunset bar.

Good location but the rooms are really shabby. Ready for renovation! They seem to be working on it, so there are a number of top houses, but most are still old and poorly maintained. The water from the shower is cold and when it is hot it is too hot and with a small trickle. We rented 2 rooms based on photos from the internet, but the photos absolutely do not correspond to reality. These were probably photos of the renovated rooms, while there are only a limited number of them. The beds are also not nice, uncomfortable and strangely made. A large sheet folded in half with a woolen blanket in the middle. During the night you lie wrapped only in the blanket, which is not very hygienic. The air conditioning in the room does not work properly because the room is simply not well insulated.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A very nice night atmosphere with good musicians. A restaurant on the beach. A great experience.

Very nice host, the rooms are well maintained and have a nice bathroom.
The garden is beautifully landscaped.
The room we had had a great view.

Stayed for 8 nights.had to ask for it to be cleaned and bins emptied once.ground staff really nice but main management very lazy and defensive.
Not asking for much to get your toilet bin emptied once in over a week of staying.

For value for money, it's the best. Bungalows in the garden a little old but very clean. Room cleaned every day if you request with changed pool and shower towels. Breakfast overlooking the sea with good bread, very good food. Many restaurants in this part of the island where the beaches are magnificent, well-maintained swimming pool. Reservation to be made on a site like Booking or others because it is more expensive on the hotel website. Bungalow + PD feet in the water from 900 to 1000 baht Really good for Kho Lanta. Big plus, the staff are adorable and always attentive to us. Thanks to them, we extended especially for that. I recommend.

Directly at the beach. Clean and nice rooms, few steps to tge beach from our cottage. Lovely and helpful staff. The food was good and the drinks kept flowing. You can also book tours and rent motorbikes.

A wonderful place, really good value, and right in the heart of Klong Nin, the best beach on Lanta. The food is really excellent quality and the staff are super nice and friendly. The bar on the beach is run by Bang, what a lovely guy, and such a sweet hand built bar and relax area. Always good music playing there too. Oh! The pool is really nice too, and you can get a massage right beside the pool if you want. Love Nice Beach!

The location is excellent. There are motorcycle rentals, various restaurants, and travel booking booths nearby. The front desk and the swimming pool are right next to the beach. Someone cleans the swimming pool every day.
However, the hotel room is very old and there are various creatures in the room, such as: geckosdead spidersmoths and so on! The old combination cabinets and dim yellow lights make everything feel like it's from the last century. The TV only has one channel that can be watched normally, the WIFI is very weak and basically unusable, and the breakfast is simple because the hotel is opened by Muslims. The intestines and lunch meat provided are chicken and taste very bad!
You can find better rooms and services nearby for this price, so I don’t recommend it!

Visited off season. It is an older Thai style resort but the location is fantastic. Stays open in low season and provides food service albeit features a limited menu. Super friendly staff.

Nice resort right on the beach.
Functional, clean rooms. However, there is a lack of sockets.
The resort has a small pool and is well maintained.
The breakfast is very manageable and the warm dishes are mostly cold
But otherwise everything is okay.
I would come again

We stayed there for 4 days, we had the room with a view of the sea, for us the best bungalow in the hotel, the staff is very nice, the breakfasts were hearty and well, we loved our stay at this hotel.

A simple hotel with houses on the first line, a little tired of renovation, but everything was clean and in working order. The beach, sea, restaurant and massage are located on one spot, you can leisurely seal all day) beautiful, colorful sunsets, a bunch of cafes and restaurants, and it’s very quiet. Basically, only Europeans.

I give only 3 star because the beddings were not done properly. They wrap a thick type of blanket into a bed sheets. The room is old and rusty.

LOCATION:

Though I must credit them for the location. The beach is just beautiful in the area. Many hotel to choose from so, choose wisely.

DRINKS:
We had a drink in the evening, I ordered a Margarita. Presentation is good but no added alcohol. No idea why. But pricey for just a pineapple with a touch of coconut taste.

FOOD at Nice Beach Resort- The Thai food were super salty. At breakfast I ordered a club sandwich, it was ok. Can eat.
