Lanta Diver

Can absolutely recommend Lanta Diver - I did 2 day trips (Diving Koh Bida & Koh Haa) and both days were fabulous. Divemaster Anj was fantastic (First dive was a refresh dive, and I felt totally safe & relaxed thanks to Anj) - Good equipment, spacious boat, nice food, helpful crew - I definitely will come back when in Ko Lanta!

We went diving with Lanta Diver, like 14 years ago. Everything was perfect, the big boat, the dive guide and not forgetting the delicious food. A very good experience and relaxing dives with an incredible amount of fish.

One of the best dive shops I have had the pleasure of diving with. Great dive masters and amazing facilities. Took 1-star away only due to the photographer who tried to scam me by charging me 2x more than a fellow customer for the same set of photos. Would give 5 stars with better service providers.

Very good and professional diving school! Our diving instructor was really very good! Unfortunately, I have to admit, the dive site "Ko Bida Nai" and "Ko Bida Nol" was a little disappointing. Lots of coral bleaching and dead coral. In my opinion, there are better diving spots in Thailand. The diving school itself was, as I said, really great!

The dive was alright, the equipment you will get is not the best but do the job fine. If you are a dive professional you will expect to get a discount but not there, first time for me. Not a big deal but it shouldnt be happening. All the others dive center in town I checked was doing it so maybe check elsewhere too.

Nice service, friendly and helpful staffs, good foods on the boat. They give useful information on diving in Lanta area.

Came here in April 23' to progress on my advanced open water skills and this place came highly recommended from friends. I was not disappointed. This is the most professional diveshop I have experienced so far. Got great advice by the shop managers and the guidance and feedback from divemaster Stefanie was constructive, honest, patient and helped me so much in finetuning my skills to become a more confident diver. Would also like to thank Claus and Tong for their help and professionalism.

Great organization. Excellent communication. The instructor I got to work with was very experienced, very patient, really helpful. I definitely feel like I am a better diver and have a new level of certification. Everything is well run and I can highly recommend taking a course or diving with Lanta Diver.

The dive staff were very professional and helpful. We had to cancel a dive for 2 of us suddenly because of a family bereavement. They were very nice about it

I’m coming back to Lanta after Covid and Lanta Diver folks have beaten my expectations. Completed my 2 refresher dives, we had to pay extra because we hadn’t dived in 3 years due to Covid situation but it was still worth it because of the experience and amazing dive sites. Our instructor was Olivia and she was fabulous. All the boat staff were professional and encouraging, special cheers to them. The boat and equipment were clean and in great condition. The food and drinks onboard was sumptuous. There is an option to take your underwater photos in professional quality and buy them later, although the cost is a bit steep, it is still worth it.

What to say that hasn’t already been said? Lanta Divers run a tight ship, … literally!

Their excursions are smooth, well organised, and executed with precision timing (which made it embarrassing when I turned up a little late on my first dive day - sorry ‍️)

They provide a really decent and varied breakfast and lunch, and the punctual nature of each trip, including the island choices and routes, maximises your dive time meaning you get the best experience in the water.

I completed my OWD PADI with them and my instructor, Gaz, was the best balance of professional and chilled, but fun. At the start I made him aware that I have ADHD and he was understanding of that across the three days of dives we had, especially during the pool training day. He’s exactly the kind of person you’d want around in a high risk/hazard situation (thanks Gaz) :)

During the open water dives, a photographer (Nick) will likely join you underwater, and he captures some truly incredible and memorable moments, which you can then purchase, should you choose to. I went with a group of friends (we were 8 in total) and he did a great job of managing to get great pics of all of us (there was even a tricky, but well captured, underwater group shot - well done Nick)!

From start to finish, dealing with Lanta Divers was easy and seamless and I will likely return to complete my AOWD with them, due to how comfortable they made me feel during my scuba dives (and, tbh, in general).

This is a confidence boosting contingent that I look forward to spending more time with!

We did the open water diver course (3 days) with instructor Markus and we felt very satisfied after these days.
We loved the location Koh Haa for our 6 dives. We felt very safe with Markus who was a very competent instructor. The staff at Lanta diver are super helpful and friendly, and it was a great experience to do this course with them overall.
It was fun having some pictures taken during the dives by the diving photographer’s.

So so good, we had an amazing day out on the ocean, doing 3 separate dives. Operation is really well organised with breakfast and lunch included. Instructors are really experienced and lovely and cater for every level. We had the wonderful Anj who I couldn’t recommend highly enough - we’ve booked to go again with her in a couple of days

A quick note to thank Julie, Stephanie, Markus and all the team for a great day out despite the roughish weather. As an OWAdv diver of 200+ dives all around the world, I can say Lanta Dive delivered to expectation. The supplied lunch and snacks were quite adequate and the kit performed without flaw. The site at Koh Haa produced more life and better visibility than I expected and can recommend this site for snorkelers, beginners and 'discoverers'. There was also very little surge and current despite the choppy seas nearby. My only criticism was the safety drill (abandon ship etc) could have been more detailed.

Wonderful experience, friendly and knowledgeable diving instructors.first dive for two (we were two adults and a 12 y old) of us and we felt safe at all times.highly recommended, it's prolly what I'll remember the most of my time on Koh Lanta.that and Chang:)
