What can we say about these wonderful hosts! The place is family run and they are all incredible!
Their welcome and helpfulness are remarkable. The bungalows are quite large and above all well equipped! A small terrace at the front with a view of the swimming pool where it is nice to cool off. The attached restaurant is delicious and the prices are cheap.
The location is ideal for our taste: Klong Nin beach is a few steps away, nice for having a drink in the many beach bars. The north and the south are halfway with a scooter (rental for 200bath).

We loved our three night stay at Dareen. Susi and Rofi and the whole family were great helping us get the best deals for tours and transport, we rented their scooters one day too. The bungalows we stayed in were basic, clean and well looked after. The kittens, the breakfast and the pool were a highlight.
Good location for walking down to the beach, seeing the sunset and watching the nightly fire shows!

We spent 3 wonderful days in this guesthouse where we felt at home with Alex and Poo. We loved relaxing by the swimming pool in a beautiful, relaxing and warm setting. Big plus: the cats resting in the garden touched us and added charm to this stay! Thanks to Alex and Poo who listened, we are very happy to have chosen this address!

We had an amazing stay in Lanta Dareen. We felt welcome and for the price we paid the place is a bargain. Owners are kind and helpful with anything. Though the accommodation could use some renovation and mosquito nets were missing, we still enjoyed our stay to the fullest. They have their own little restaurant there and offer laundry service, transports, day trips, and rentals.

We stayed 6 nights at Lanta Dareen and wish we could stay longer! We stayed in one of the AC rooms which was totally worth it, and fir a great price. It was super clean, private bathroom, and with lots of space. You also get free breakfast!

This place is a perfect stay and great location next to food, Muay Thai, shops, and the beach. Although it’s a 20 minute drive from the pier, you can rent a scooter (which most people do anyways). The family here is so nice, helpful, informative, and welcoming, we loved hanging out with them — and there are friendly cats! It’s in a very pretty area with lots of green. There is a comfortable sitting area in the kitchen too. Wi-Fi is also great.

The host family was very warm and welcoming. They definitely made our experience feel more connected to the island than a typical hotel staff would.

Our bungalow had AC, hot water and a mini fridge to store our stuff. It’s lifted from the floor so there’s less of a risk of insects, but there’s stills a risk of it with some very small seams in the bathroom area. That aside, I really enjoyed how relaxing and peaceful it felt here. You’re not right off of a busy area of the road but its only a few minutes walk to 711 and restaurants.

They offer laundry service, scooter rental, taxi service, and tourists bookings for fair prices as well. Definite 5 star for the price and value you get here.

It's a place with a very warm and helpful welcome in every way. A very delicious breakfast every morning which is a good place to meet and talk to other travellers. Lots of good and cheap eating places in a walking distance. A very beautiful and long beach is just minutes away. Can rent a scooter directly or wash your clothes. Very good deals on boat trips. Everything you need is there. Highly recommended. I stayed for over 2 weeks and enjoyed my stay very much. Until next time!

Amazing stay in our little bungalow. We felt so welcomed from the moment we got there and extended our stay to 5 nights in total. It’s excellent value for money and the free breakfast was perfect. The hosts were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, they also opened their kitchen when we was there and of course we had to try it out. The food was so delicious and excellent value for money, I would recommend this place to everyone.

Great place, booked 3 nights and stayed 7. Very comfortable place to be. Hired bikes, had breakfast every morning. Fridge in the room. Quiet nights for good sleep. Close to the beach and 7/11. The owners are looking after you like you are their own. Everything was perfect. Sad to be leaving. Had great times here. Thank you.

Meine Freundin und ich waren aus Zufall in dieser Unterkunft und es stellte sich heraus, dass das eine sehr sehr gute Wahl war. Hauptsächlich durch die Gastfreundschaft der Inhaber. Sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem ist der Strand und viele leckere Restaurants sowie 7Eleven um die Ecke. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

We booked 3 nights in this accommodation and ended up staying 7. The couple running the bungalows were just wonderful people. They knew all of us by our first names. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They offer to collect you for free from the pier. They cook the most marvellous breakfast every morning which is included in the price of the accommodation. It fills you up until the end of the day. They offer a fast laundry service, mopeds for hire and sort out day trip tickets and ferry off the island. They speak very good English. We would have lovely conversations every day. They would regularly clean our rooms. The location was also good. 5-10 minute walk to the shops and beach. Quiet location which we loved! This is a fairly new business at the moment. They have plans to build a swimming pool and new bungalows I believe. I wish them every success with this. Will definately return in the next few years.

Wir wollten eigentlich nur ein paar Tage bleiben - am Ende waren es 10. Wir haben uns hier einfach nur total wohl gefühlt im Bungalow. Su & Roffi sind herzensgute Menschen, die unseren Aufenthalt wirklich wahnsinnig schön gemacht haben. Mit Tipps stehen sie jederzeit zur Verfügung und helfen wo sie können. Auch kann man jederzeit ein nettes Gespräch mit ihnen führen. Wir können die Empfehlung absoult empfehlen, gerade für den Zimmerpreis.

We actually only wanted to stay a few days - in the end it was 10 days. We just felt totally comfortable here in the bungalow. Su & Roffi are good-hearted people who really made our stay incredibly nice. They are always available with tips and help where they can. You can also have a nice conversation with them at any time. We can recommend them absoult, especially for the room price.
