Lanta Baan Nok Resort

We only stayed one night and didn't have high expectations for the room since we paid significantly less than the previous beach resort. We were pleasantly surprised, it was clean and tidy, towels, soap and shampoo were available, the bed was comfortable and the facility was cozy. The landlady and her father were very friendly. If you can do without the direct beach, luxury and breakfast in the hotel, then the Lanta Baan Nok Resort is a recommendation!

We were originally going to stay 6 nights but extended to stay 10 nights! We loved the island but also this super intimate accommodation, very quiet, jungle atmosphere, we feel extremely good there. The beach is a few minutes' walk away, nice restaurants right next door. Very kind and caring staff. Unbeatable value for money (I recommend making a reservation on site if you see that it is not full on the internet).

On Koh Lanta, don't trust the location, the island can be crossed up and down, in 30 minutes maximum! I absolutely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Baan Nok resort. The room was perfect; spacious, good storage, efficient air-conditioning, clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The balcony was a lovely place to enjoy and the garden area is incredibly well maintained with really beautiful plants. All of the staff here were super friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday and new bottled water provided. The tea and coffee area was a lovely touch and made mornings on the balcony even better. The location is perfect with so many choices of restaurants within walking distance and a couple of minimarts just a few minutes away as well as the beach being within 10 minutes walking. We will definitely be back to Baan Nok and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting Lanta.

A really Nice place! Its run by a family who are always there for you.

The rooms are slightly hidden so that you dont sleep on the Road side thats wonderfull.
They have airconditioning, are cleaned everyday and daily you can use a cup of tea or coffee in the morning.
You have a beautyfull garden that is maintained by dad.
At 1min from Kohub (coworkspace) and 5min from the LongBeach.
We have slept here serveral times and Will definitly come back.

This place is a hidden gem. I would give it more than 5* if i could.

The hotel & room - well located, clean rooms, peaceful and quiet. The owners clean the room daily.

The owners - so friendly and kind. They will go out of their way to help you with excursions and where to go for good food. They charge 40 baht for 1kg of washing which comes back immaculate and freshly ironed.

The price - very good value for money

Simply amazing place. Owner and his family are amazing. Have spent a total of 4 weeks in Koh Lanta mostly due to this hotel.

I had a perfect stay here. As a solo traveler who enjoys comfort, I was extremely satisfied by the room and the service I found at Baan Nok. For the price, it's extremely good value. It's not on the beach though and you can struggle a bit to find your way there. But on the last days I just went through the Eco Lanta entrance and then there's a café at the end on the beach front so it makes the beach easily accessible. I stayed 5 nights here and only went to Koh Lanta Long Beach (where you can get nice massages looking at the sea).
One last thing, there are many nice restaurant options just meters away from the hotel and two bakeries. If you like fresh fruit salads, you can go the captain bakery in front and get one for 50 B. Also, I recommend fresh coconuts. The best ones are served at Uncle O. (20 m from the hotel).

We stayed four nights in a lovely bungalow with Aircon. The accommodation and general resort was spotlessly clean, very chilled and relaxing and only a 5 minute walk to long beach and fantastic restaurants literally next door (papaya restaurant great). The staff were fantastic and very helpful and we recommend booking your day trips with the resort. We did the 4 islands and the day trip snorkeling to phi phi. Both were great value for money. Beautiful resort ran by a lovely family. They were so accommodating in helping us book our scooters and any transport we needed. We even checked in an extra night it was that nice! And only a 5 min walk from the beach. Dying to go back!

My boyfriend and I love this hotel and keep coming back. The owner and daughter are wonderful. We love the garden and the hammock.

Honestly, probably the best Value for money hotel in Thailand. Never mind Koh Lanta. Room is spacious and comes with all of the expected amenities. Stayed here with my girlfriend and both of us could not have been welcomed and looked after more by the staff - every time that we entered.

Location was great too has some cheap but great quality restaurants nearby and a Minimart a few doors down to buy snacks etc. Only slight negative is the nearest 7/11 is a 15 minute walk if that’s your thing.

Wonderful clean bungalows run by a lovely family. A really nice place to be with the well decorated plants lining the path to your room. There was a motorbike available for us to rent and the laundry service was great convenient. Very helpful with knowledge of Koh Lanta and provided some recommendations. They have a friendly bird at the entrance that will speak with you which is very sweet.

A few local restaurants (one just two doors down that is very good) and mini Market nearby for the essentials.

Highly recommend anyone visiting the island!

This is a fantastic little find, very clean, great air conditioning in the room, and great location, 7 mins from the very good beach. Lots of good food around, and the family who run the place are really helpful and very friendly, always with a great smile. We will definitely be coming back.

Great place, great location. Run by a lovely family that will do anything they can to help make sure you have the best time possible. Very affordable for how amazing the place is. Make sure to say hi and bye to the bird at the entrance to the place.

2 adults and 1 child stayed here initially for 3 nights, but quickly added another 4. This is a gem of the island and probably the best value. Extremely clean and bungalows are in very good/new condition. Nice to have the porch and hammock as well. Owners and friendly and helpful. Location is great with a mini-mart 2 minutes down the street and several restaurants. We especially recommended Uncle O’s across the street. Long Beach is amazing and right across the street and you cut down the road, probably a 10 minute walk.

Excellent attentive staff here at Baan Nok. Stayed for 2 weeks because of the location to KoHub co-working space (1 minute walk out the back). Free daily tea/coffee, room cleaning, water, cheap motorbike rental and the talking bird next to reception were all a nice touch.
