Krabi Seaview Resort

Reading the latest reviews, we hesitated to cancel. But we did well not to. Indeed the hotel is aging, but from what we have seen, they are starting to refresh.but nothing repulsive for the hotel.
The staff is polite, helpful, always a greeting with a smile. The rooms are OK for the price. The hotel is ideally located with access to the beach and restaurants. We were only supposed to stay 3 nights and we added two more nights.
Morality, sometimes you should not trust comments.value for money Ok.

Friendly, attentive and dedicated staff. Spacious and modern accommodation. Comfort and silent air conditioning with excellent functioning. Good-sized swimming pools set in well-kept gardens, although relatively small. Diverse food although breakfast lacks cheese and ham. To access the beach, just cross the street

ห้องที่พักดี สะอาด มีอ่างอาบน้ำ (บางห้อง) เข้าห้องพักด้วยระบบคีย์การ์ด มีห้องหลากหลายประเภท โถงอาหารเช้าดี อาหารหลากหลาย เส้นทางไปยังห้องพักมืดมาก ไฟทางน้อย ป้ายบอกโซนที่พักน้อย มีสิทธิ์เดินหลง ใครพาเด็กไปพักต้องดูแลดีๆ

The resort is amazing, in terms of location, comfort and service. The rooms were great and pretty cheap compared to somewhere like phuket. And the location is beautiful, you can have your breakfast and go out to the beach which is connected to the restaurant.

You can access the island tours nearby with a pickup from the hotel itself.

Overall an amazing experience!

The moment we step in, it was a wonderfull feeling that it's going to be so amazing, from rooms to the view to location this was the best one we can get. The best part was that it has private access to the beautiful Ao Nang beach.and the walkway was completly beautiful with all the green part they have done in property. We loved our stay. Keep Up team Krabi Resort.

It's okay, dog as it is designed for vacations of massive groups. It has swimming pools and a private beach but I don't know if you pay for that, it's not worth it. It is close to everything, without having to be in the noisiest area

Management and Receptionists are CHEATERS! Booked a bigger pool villa for 2 adults and 2 kids through agoda 3 months before our stay. Agoda even emailed after reconfirmation from hotel management that kids 4 to 11 years old stay for free.

After arriving at the hotel, the receptionist said only 1 child could stay free. I even showed the email from Agoda mentioning my 2 kids stay for free. They ignored and asked me to pay for my 6 year old. After much argument, I paid.

Worst behaviour and attitude by management and receptionist as they ruined our holiday even before it started. Most unwelcoming and rude attitude.

BIG ants in the room, on the bed literally whole room, called the receptionist to request for room changing. They send a staff to clean up the ants instead to change another room for us. I was scared and couldn’t sleep throughout the night

Location is good rooms are smelly and hospitality is zero.no room service after 9 pm till morning if you have to checkout early morning you have to carry your luggage by own to lobby no room service.

a bit noisy (due 2-stroke engine vechicle)

The property is good and well maintained. The location is also very close to Ao nang beach and its 500 mtrs walking from the resort.
The staff is very rude in behavior and answer to the questions in a pathetic and rude manner. They shout on people when you don't understand their language in one go.
Also the service is very slow. I had to wait for a bowl for one hour and needed to call the staff 6 times. Also the cost for stay is very high.
If you are vegetarian, suggesting not to book this property as they don't have any option to eat other then bread

Was so excited when booking the stay because the pictures looked amazing. Was met with disappointment upon arrival.

The place looked desolate, and that goes for the many many rooms they have as well. It looks like a place that used to be beautiful and luxurious, but has not been shown any care and love for a long while now.

The rooms receive 1 star because, although very spacious, it came with alot of problems. Floor felt dusty/sandy the moment we stepped in, no hot water on our first day until we called someone in to fix it, water tasted and smelled weird (like metal), bath tub felt like it was going to collapse, bed sheets did not feel the cleanest.

The service was so-so. I wish I could give the service a higher rating because the bellboys were very helpful and nice. But they seem quite understaffed because our requests usually took rather long to be met. We had to wait 45 minutes and call twice before someone came over to fix the water heater in our room.

Location wise though, it’s great. We could walk to the beach from our room and the shops and restaurants in Ao Nang were all very close by. However, there are other resorts and stays with the same advantageous location that seemed more comfortable, clean, and new.

Amazing resort to stay at, especially if you’re visiting with family. There are a lot of room options and a lot of stuff to do here. There is a beach owned by the resort and if you explore a bit, you’ll come across a lot of good nature. The breakfast is really nice and there are a lot of options. It’s also located right next to the shops. Not as luxurious as some of the other resorts in the area, but for the price, this place has a lot to offer.
I visited this place in the summer of 2019, if anyone’s interested.

Private Villas are great, very spaceous, huge bathroom, lovely private swimming pool and very well maintained. However, the "luxury grand pool" room we stayed in for the first night was not in good condition and the surrounding garden and pool area need a lot of maintenance.

Our son described the setting as post apocolyptic when we got to the mini golf and archery range, there were actually vines growing over the greens, they should not advertise these facilities as they are not usable.

This place has huge potential but needs some money spent on it or it will lose any chance at becoming what it looks like it once was.

Stay in the private pool villa, skip the rest.

Oh and the breakfast was cold and we got swarmed by bees each morning, when we tried to take our meal down to the beautiful private beach to eat we were told the area was closed at breakfast time.

Great place to stay and enjoy the spectacular view of the sea. The weather in the morning is perfect. The room is cozy and comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed the hospitality at this hotel and the services that it offered. Very satisfied.

We stayed at the beach front villa and it was unbelievable. Private pool, huge rooms, beautiful interior design. Hotel stuff was great too. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast, but that’s like that in most hotels in Thailand.

Our room was OK but definitely needed some work and replacements. Resort was almost empty when we stayed there. Beach was very nice and beautiful. Pool also good. Location of the resort is excellent! You can easily go for tours/trips in Ao Nang, and Ao Nang has great restaurants.
The food in the resort however was below average, and the reception wasn't very friendly/welcoming. Also, wifi was not working 90% of the time.

According to photos (booking.com), some disappointment followed. The rooms are old. Furniture depreciated. Bathrooms are very (!) outdated. Maintenance is poor and you can feel it on every step. I do not recommend Luxury grand room (M) at all. Very outdated. There was no water all one day. No shower. No toilet. Repairs were promised twice at the front desk. At the evening when I came the third time (!) I requested and also got another room (room next Luxury grand pool). Room was better. However, even here the toilet pipe burst and water flooded the bathroom. They fixed it.
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is at a very low level. I traveled to the Philippines and Vietnam - stayed in many hotels, but here in Krabi resort the cleanliness of the rooms was on the bottom line of all. Attention: The air conditioners work, but they are so loud (outdated) that you will not be able to sleep at night without earplugs. And I mean it! If you turn it off, the other one in the next room will wake you up. Terrible. Instead of enjoying the silence of nature and listening the singing of birds, you listen to the rumble of air conditioning. Very loud! Do not expect soft and comfortable beds too. The resort has lots of greenery. However, it is not arranged and maintained. The beach is also beautiful (best part of all beach) but poorly maintained. COVID-19 is taking its toll. I understand that. Breakfast was good. The staff is friendly. Good location. Would I come back? Probably not because of 2 reasons: loud air condition and poor hygiene. Sorry for bad review.but it is the reality.

Absolute Katastrophe! Das Hotel ist 30 Jahre alt und die Badezimmer sehen dem entsprechend aus! Da wurde die letzten 20-30 Jahre nichts gemacht! Wir haben die Reservierung storniert und sind wo anders hin!
