Krabi Heritage Hotel

Stayed for 6 nights
I found reviews helpful when looking for accommodations, so I’m posting them in the hopes that they will be helpful to others as well.

1. Location selection is bad
The location is amazing as it is a short walk to a convenience store, bar, laundry, massage shop, and Ao Nang Beach.

2. Not noisy at night
I called it “Sanbang Mountain View” to myself, but I always wanted to see the mountain cliffs from my accommodation, so I got a mountain view room.
The mountain view room is a bit far from the nearby bar, so it's not that noisy.
Instead, the sound of Bangsai's speech sounds a bit like a buzzing sound.
. But everyone sleeps at night because they are tired and goes out during the day.
It's no problem

3. The room itself is so-so.
Considering the price, it is in good condition for an old building.
I also use a Panasonic hair dryer, so it's strong and good.
The bathtub had a lot of scratches, so I didn't use it.
Don't expect a very nice room
It is difficult to use the safe, but if you turn the rotary lever to the left or right and pull it, it will open and there will be a button on the light chip. Then use it according to the instructions.

4. The swimming pool is better than expected
It's not wide, but the water is deep (about 1.65m).
It was good to practice snorkeling first haha.

If it's a tip
When talking about the name of this place in local people, say Krabi Waist.

Nice hotel.
Very good selection at the breakfast buffet. The gentleman who prepared the fresh eggs was always very nice, thank you very much.
Very good location, you can find everything on your doorstep. Bars, restaurants, shops, etc. However, you should keep in mind that it can get very loud at night - so not so good for people who don't sleep well.
The beach can be reached on foot in 5 minutes (the beach is really not that great, definitely drive over to Railay Beach!).
Unfortunately, the bathroom smelled very bad, like a sewer drain or something similar. A star deduction for this. Otherwise everything was great thank you very much.

Not a bad hotel, value for money. Good breakfast, comfortable bed and mattress, excellent location. But there is a huge problem with Wi-Fi. The connection keeps dropping out and the connection is very poor. The hotel management urgently needs to fix this problem.

Wonderful hotel in a very good location. You have several restaurants and shops on a walking distance. Staff was very polite and helpful during my whole stay. I felt very welcome there. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable and air conditioning was working well. The swimming pool was very good also, a perfect area to chill. My only complain is that my room was quite loud in the evening due to a partying street close by.

Center of aonang and really good pool and room. They have an elevator, and super duper huge huge bed! Whatever we had a problem with they came soon to fix:)

The wifi is just from another century, just consider that there is no wifi.
The rooms are ok and the location is convenient but you can get a much better service for the same price in the area

Hotel is right in the middle of Ao Nang town. 5 minute walk to the beach. Everything you need is around the corner.
Staff to us was very welcoming and friendly. Also very attentive to our needs.
Pool is clean and kept neat. It has a small gym, which we didn’t use.
Wi-Fi disconnects most of the time, so not very useful. Breakfast is ok, if not included in your hotel price, I would not recommend paying extra for it.
All in all a good stay for a reasonable price. Staff is very nice!

Perfect hotel for visitors at Krabi. It's located within walking distance from Ao Nang neach. I found my room very clean and cozy. The services are quite good. Breakfast was amazing.

There are so many Indian restaurants nearby, which is also plus for Indian travelers.

Great hotel, friendly staff (didn’t show us to our room though), breakfast was standard, good location. The housekeeping didn’t do a good job though, hair and bits were left everywhere.

This hotel is located near Aonang beach and the center of Aonang, making it very convenient to get around and explore the area. The cost is also very affordable, which is always a plus when traveling.

One of the standout features of the hotel is the balcony view, which you mentioned is great. This is always a nice touch and can really enhance the overall experience of staying at a hotel.

In addition to the balcony view, the hotel's staff are friendly and welcoming, making guests feel right at home. The hotel rooms and surroundings are also decorated nicely, adding to the overall ambiance of the property.

Another great feature of the hotel is the big swimming pool, which provides a refreshing way to cool off and relax after a day of exploring the area.

Great rooms, fabulous views and a really clean nice pool area. Lots of shade available. Just far enough out there was no noise overnight from local bars etc. Staff were so friendly and helpful, well worth staying here. Food from the daytime menu was really tasty and low prices

Really nice hotel and very clean. Location is amazing and they provide scooter rentals for 250 baht which is way cheaper than Phuket. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and all the best restaurants. I’d skip the breakfast buffet it’s not worth the 250 baht unless it’s already included in ur room. But ya it’s very lacking. Trust me. If you are here for work. WiFi is trash. It keeps disconnecting you. But everything else is great. We had the Mountain View and we’re on the corner near the bars so it was a bit noisy at night until midnight. Gym is hella small too. But staff is helpful. Hope this review was helpful. @ninjaxfang

Sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. 5 min zu Fuß an den Strand. Ruhig da etwas nach hinten versetzt. Preis bei ca. 31 Euro für 2 Personen incl. Frühstück einfach super.

I could give 5 stars just for location.
In general our staying was okay but there is a few things on which they should work a bit better.

Staff don’t speak that good English but depending on shift they may help you.

Breakfast was really basic and same everyday, but eggs which was made by the chef was really good!

Staff is not even greeting when entering; also I had a small spontaneous operation in the medical center across the street, my boyfriend went to the front desk to explain the situation and asked for a later checkout and they gave him a very hard time….

The only good thing about the room was the view. Whole place felt unwelcoming despite huge foyer and reception. Didn't see the smiles, front desk staff almost hiding - long empty halls desserted, nothing resembling a luxury stay - devoid of decoration or plants - breakfast average.

Well-staffed, close to the beach and restaurants, fresh rooms, balcony on the smaller side, missing a few things imho at breakfast. Eg. No cheese/nutella/bacon/smoothie/proper coffee

Possible improvements; a tad better English, an area within the hotel grounds to hang out

We stayed at the Krabi Heritage hotel in Ao Nang Feb 3-6. It was a tranquil place right in the thick of the craziness at Ao Nang. We were here 5 years ago and in the interim they have extensively renovated most of the hotel. Our room had a view of the cliffs and the Adaman Sea. It was sleek, large and well appointed, with really comfortable beds. And what a view! The front desk staff are very efficient and very, very nice. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety and the staff also very pleasant. The pool is an oasis and so relaxing! You’d never know how crazy the traffic is just 100 meters down the street and it’s a short, easy walk to the strip. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this hotel! Hope to be back!
