Krabi Golden Hill Hotel

We almost missed our internal flight to Bangkok because of the hotel. We had booked a cab to the airport the day before our flight. We wanted to confirm this reservation on the day of our flight. They hadn't booked our cab after all. The hostess then booked a cab, but it never showed up (thirty-minute call, reminders.). Fortunately, a hotel employee took the trouble to take us to the airport.

The hotel seems to have remained stuck in the 80s with its decor but it has spacious rooms with balconies.
Where it falls short for us is with the staff. Everyone is very smiling and seems to want to help you but they don't understand English well. So they are able to tell you "yes it's confirmed" when in fact they didn't understand your question. So be careful!

It was a nice and big room. Super friendly crew member. They helped me to come to koh samui. Also I rent a motorcycle there and it was really good.

It was a lush green room. If you go here, ask for the side overlooking the pool. Krabi is a very quiet retirement place by the way

Pleasant accommodation and view for the price
There is a swimming pool so kids love it
However, the location is a bit out of the way.

The room had many wooden trims that had rotted away. Furthermore, the room was a bit old-fashioned, but fine.

Pool was small, but big enough to cool off.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When it rained we were allowed to borrow an umbrella from the hotel.

This place is wonderful. Absolutely love this place, hotel staff are very accommodating, polite, very honest and good people.
We spend bout 8 nights and we’ll look forward to coming back when we visit Krabi next time.

Breakfast could be better, it was very simple.
Bathroom was quite old, room was OK.

We had a wonderful stay at Krabi Golden Hill Hotel. The staff was very friendly and help us with everything. The Hotel is located in walking distance from the pier and the wonderful night market, but there is also a free shuttle getting you there!

I stayed here for a few nights with my wife whilst extending our visa at Krabi immigrations. We enjoyed the pool and pool area. The restaurant was very quiet but turned out good value food.

The hotel is perhaps a bit dated but the service of the staff was fantastic. The room was a great size and everything worked.

A big positive for us that we weren't perhaps expecting was the shuttle service. They offer a free service to the main spots in the vicinity including night Market runs in the evening and lifts within the town throughout the day. Fantastic, this and the pool made it worth the extra few pound per night for us.

Gutes Frühstück. Nähe zur Stadt/ Nachtmarkt fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Aber auch stündlich Shuttelservice umsonst.
Deluxe Room war mit Sonnenbalkon und Blick zum Pool.
Sehr nettes Personal, besonders an der Rezeption.

I really liked this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they offer free taxis to the town centre. Pool is also nice.

Good hotel, good view, good service, and clean hotel. This is the only hotel in Krabi which gives free shuttle service anywhere u want to go in Krabi.

It was horrible. The room was dirty as in there waa ants, bugs and even cockroaches running around! We was going to stay 5 nights n changed it to 1. If you have a 'pool veiw' room be ready for the dog pound to the right. And also the gardener who likes to start up petrol machines at 7am! After telling us there was no double beds (we were on our engagment) and gave us 2 single beds. After arguing about the dirty room we then got moved to a double bedroom? Never again. No shops, no bars, no places to eat. This place is a no go!

Nice place to stay in Krabi Town and you feel close to nature as well as being only a 5-10 min walk to the main part of town.
Rooms are clean and the high rooms have views to the Andaman Sea.
Breakfast is a let down to be honest, buffet style but cold and the eggs are not done properly. There are better places in town for breakfast anyway.
Love the pool area and the pool water is maintained well enough.
Recommended for a no thrills, value for money Hotel with Pool.

If you're staying in town for a night, maybe waiting for your flight, this hotel has a nice pool to hang around. Rooms are nice but breakfast mediocre. Come early, otherwise most things will finnish.
