Koh Jum Resort Krabi

Very nice, small and quiet resort just outside the village/town. Very spacious and well-equipped rooms with great views of the sea and private beach. The restaurant is also highly recommended - fresh fish and traditional Thai dishes are served here every day. The staff is always super helpful and accommodating. Although the weather was unfortunately a bit changeable, we had a great 3 days. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you.

Amazing resort on a beautiful island! The food is delicious and the staff makes sure that they help you with any type of activities you would like to do. There is a nice beach right where the resort is located, and you can also rent scooters to discover the rest of the island. Hundred percent recommend!

A highlight of my Thailand travels. Ko Jum is a beautiful island. Calm and relax vibes. The locals are soo nice.

The resort was the cherry on top of the island. We booked the transport from Krabi Airport, which was perfectly arranged by the resort. The resort is great if you want to relax and enjoy the beach. We booked a great boat tour which was amazing. Also the scooters we rented from the resort where great. The team is soo sweet, the food was great, both the Thai and other food on the menu.

Fantastic quiet place to relax with very good food. The boss and all the staff are very nice and helpful.

Pi Ko and his wonderful staff went the extra mile. Had my birthday there and the staff helped my boyfriend with cake, ice cream and a candle! The seafood was fresh and delicious.as was all the delectible dishes from the menu! The pool is a lovely cool down spot, but the sea was fabulous too! Our room was wooden, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We got to hire a scooter from the resort too, which enabled us to tour around the sleepy island. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend this gorgeous spot!

We had the most amazing 2 week stay at Kohjum Resort
The staff are very friendly and helpful
The very wide menu of fantastic delicious food.
Our room overlooking the beach was very clean and comfortable
Can’t wait to return

Great accommodation, despite many foreign tourists reception staff's English skills are close to non existing.
Breakfast buffet is fine, however appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant offers quite some room for improvement.
The general manager is very friendly and helpful.
Please keep in mind, the unsealed access road can be very muddy and slippery after heavy rainfall.

Online pictures of this resort look great, but are misleading as not in line with reality. The place is less than hostel quality, messy, deferred maintenance, dirty (lots of black mold in bathroom, swimming pool and refrigerator and pests around), noisy (because construction work). In general not the friendly, hospitality like we are used to during our travels through Thailand. Food was “so so”, no value for money though.
Immediately after checking in we shared our disappointment, next day we checked out because of the above plus a sleepless night due to poor airconditioning and back-pain because of way too firm mattress (more like a plank) We’d booked six nights and had to pay for all of them. Manager was rigid, admitted his mistakes, but thought it was fair that this was our loss… please skip this place is my recommendation! Instead book the Wynn at Koh Jum which is a just opened hotel with great staff and facilities

Abgelegenes Resort mit Strand. Vom Pier aus nur mit Scooter oder Fahrtransfer zu erreichen. Das Personal spricht kaum Englisch. Im Zimmer ist eine Klimaanlage welche jedoch nicht so gut funktioniert hat. Hatte keine Automatikfunktion weshalb wir mit offenen Fenster geschlafen haben. Das Bett ist sehr hart, die Kissen sind gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für bequeme Leute eher nichts, für welche mit wenig Anspruch ist es passend (wir hatten den Low-Budget) Bungalow. In dieser Anlage gibt es auch teurer Hütten mit vermutlich höheren Standard. Der Manager vom Resort ist sehr nett und geht sehr auf die Wünsche seiner Gäste ein. Das Essen im Resort war nichts für uns da wir der Typ Tourist sind der es authentisch mag. Die Aussicht von unserem Bungalow ist mega, mit Blick auf Pipi Island.

1. จ่ายเงินจองแพจเกจแบบไพรเวท แต่พอไปจริงๆ ไม่ยอมให้ไพรเวท โดนให้เหตุผลว่าไม่ได้คิดเงินเด็ก แต่มาเห็นเด็กตัวจริง เห็นว่าเด็กตัวใหญ่ เลยไม่นอมให้ไพรเวท

2. พนักงานฟร้อนทำงานชุ่ยมาก กระดาษจด order อาหารแทนที่จะใข้กระดาษโน๊ตใส่ชื่อห้องไว้ ใข้กระดาษมั่วซั่ว ทุกคนมาใครๆก็จดใส่กระดาษนี้ สรุปกระดาษหาย จำเมนูที่สั่งก็ไม่ได้ ชุ่ยมาก

3. ห้องเก่า มีกลิ่มเหม็นจากห้องน้ำ มีแมลงให้ห้อง ที่นอนไม่สะอาด

4. ผจก. พูดจาเอาชนะลูกค้าตลอดเวลา
แถมเราเข้าพักวันที่รีสอร์มไฟดับ ทำให้รร. เช็คอินเช็คเอ้าไม่ได้เลย เราอุตส่าห์เปิดฮอตปอตให้พนักงานยืมใช้ ขอบคุณสักคำยังไม่ออกจากปากผจก. เลย

5. รร. ขาดการอบรมพนักงานให้มีความเข้าใจที่ตรงกัน ทำให้เวลาให้ข้อมูลลูกค้าผิดพลาดเสมอ

6. ทัวร์ดำน้ำให้น้ำลูกค้าไปก็ไม่ครบ และ
อื่นๆ ขี้เกียจพิมพ์

ปล. ให้ 1 ดาว เพราะอาหารที่นี้อร่อยจริง

พึ่งกลับมาจากเกาะจำรีสอร์ตสนุกมากบรรยากาศดีพนักบริการดีทุกคนอาหารอร่อยสุดๆสุดจัดปลัดบอกต้องมาอีกครั้งแน่นอน

Nightmare!

1.) Booking process was confusing. There were many points of miscommunication between the reservation lady and front desk about what’s include and not include in our package.

2.) When we booked this resort we were told that our room is a panoramic Seaview room but when we checked in, they gave us the room in the jungle (no Seaview at all, only trees)

3.) The room is dark as the trees block the sunlight, smells moldy, and not properly cleaned (room 603 - urgently need a maintenance!) There are thermites everywhere. We were about to lay down to sleep and we suddenly saw the spider with it’s web at the bed corner over our head (photo attached).

4.) The guy who claimed himself as a General Manager was very arrogant. He just did not want to accept that all these issues are the resort’s fault and did not apologize. When we complaint about the termites in the room, he just showed us that even his working desk got termites. Is that’s the way of handling a complain?

In summary, our entire experience at this resort was just terrible. We stayed there in September 2022 and we will never come back.

Amazing place. The resort has a great vibe, it's in a secluded place with a private beach away from prying eyes.
It's a great place to unwind and relax.   I highly recommend it for people that want to spend a little while in their own quite paradise.

Our room was in a very good condition with a beatiful vista on the beach. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. I was also delighted with the spacious bathroom and the rainfall shower in it.

The resort also has a pool which looks like it's regularly and thoroughly cleaned and a restaurant where you can order breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The restaurant's staff was very professional and the food was very tasty. The beach is very clean and has the best kind of sand possible, walking barefoot there is a pleasure.

The crew was very commited and ensured that we had the best stay possible. They even arranged a one day trip to ko phi phi for us. And the manager is something out of this world. I cannot express enough how diligent, proffesional, easygoing and helpful he was. All this while have this gentleman aura surrounding him.

The resort had everything we desired and more. For anyone trying to find their own little shrine of peace in thailand I would highly recommend staying at koh jum resort.

Beautiful place, great staff, delicious food, comfortable clean rooms, breathtaking views. Perfect place if you want to spend some time in quiet beautiful place.

Good stuff; Great location by the shore, nice pool, pretty eco-style simple but decent sized cabins nearly all overlooking the sea. Good breakfast choice, bar area by the sea and we'll set out atmospheric dining in the evening on the beach with good sea breeze. Food and menu well presented with plenty of choice. Pleasant friendly staff.
Not so good; bath cracked and unusable, filthy bath mat but worse of all not a single comfortable chair to be found anywhere in the hotel! Horrendous heavy uncomfortable wooden dining furniture and dangerous collapsing heavy balcony furniture and an uncomfortable deck chair. No seat pads anywhere! Not good enough for £70 a night! Also treacherous stone steep steps with no handrail. I did point this out to the manager who seemed to take it in. It remains to be seen if this is acted upon. Staff also have a poor grasp of English so communication often difficult.

Overall not satisfied. Mattress was the hardest one on our entire trip - hard as stone. Very uncomfortable nights. Beach very rocky, not great for swimming. Generelly not the prettiest part of Koh Jum. Overpriced.
Highlight was the pool and terrace with a view. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Great place! Clean and spacious room with Seaview and aircon. Super friendly staff, nice beach, good food. Island vibes. Loved it.

Only wanted to book the ferry to Koh Lanta, but they are very overpriced. The resort next door has the same service for 30 percent cheaper. If you stay here and want to go to Koh Lanta, just walk 2 minutes to the Koh Jum Ocean Beach Resort and book your ferry there.

Great resort. Very friendly staff. The beach is rocky and it's a bit hard to get in and get out of the resort on your own. Your best bet is to rent a scooter.
