I had the privilege to train at this facility before their grand opening on May 26th. My training was somewhat different from a regular group session, as I was the only student on that day and did pad-work for an hour approximately, receiving the undivided attention of the three trainers available that day. But even if I have to concede about the uniqueness of my experience (it was more like a private class), I am sure that even in more crowded moments the quality of training will be as good as it can be. KhunSuek cannot be complimented enough: everything, from state-of-the-art equipment, to cleanliness and hygiene, competence of the trainers, and location (this gym having the most stunning view out of any other Muay Thai camp in Thailand), is close to perfection.
What I treasure the most, is how they tore my technique apart; how they detected my mistakes in but a few minutes; how they fixed them within an hour, correcting my posture and working on my balance (something that the trainers at my previous gym in Thailand, the "glorious" Sitsongpeenong, did not do over the course of 3 weeks).
KhunSuek is most definitely catering to the farang crowd, even though they could have a stable of thai fighters at the gym: I don't know about that. No matter what, as my experience taught me, if you are at a beginner to advanced level (that is, not a pro fighter), there is little sense in going to the hardcore, Thai-only gyms of the suburbs of Bangkok; one will soon be relegated in a corner not receiving the attention they need. Start from places such as KhunSuek instead, have them work on you, fix you, work your way up. It's the way to go.
And a final suggestion: if you train at this camp, ask for Pateak - he was one of the best trainers I have ever worked with!

From a gym in Canada and I have got to say, I knew the experience gap between the coaches at my gym in Canada and the coaches here would be big but I could've never imagine it be so damn huge! First day and they started correcting tons and tons of stuff (posture, hand placement, feet stance, ect) been training for +2 years in Canada but there is so much I need to work on that I thought would be "ok" before I came to Kuhn Suek but now I see it isn't. The language barrier is real for most of the trainers as most don't know much english, but the trainer Joe helped a lot with both techniques and getting a point across between other trainers and me. Such a great place with clean mats, great views, most equipment was very good quality (some of the shin pad straps were falling off) and most of all the experience of the trainers is definitely something you will never get in any other country
