Kayak Hire

A nice place for kayaking.
However, price/time ratio is not entirely worth it.
You pay 300b per hour, when we returned the boat 5 minutes later we had to pay 300b extra. They are therefore not reasonable and do not mention this in advance that they are very strict about this.

I only found the kayak hiring offered by the Beach Resort. They have different prices for hotel vs non-hotel guests. Thus no offering for whole day or half a day. Just 250 bth per hour. If you wanna do your own beach kayak day trip I can't recommend it. For the Hotel guest they have the same prices as the other kayak rental at Ao Nang beach.beach hopping by kayak takes you 25 -40 minutes per beach sind remember to save energy for the way back.

Convenient kayak hire which offers cheaper rates to hotel guests compared to those that are not. 300 baht an hour for non guests. In a double seated kayak.

Variety of kayak quality, my one held up okay but took in a fair bit of water.

We had a very serious problem. Life threatening.

Hired for a full day, started paddling towards Koh Poda. Half way there, round 3,5 km into sea, the kayak started sinking.

We had to go in the water and start swimming back to Ao Nang, the kayak was bearly floating.

We were very lucky a long tail passed close by after 30 minutes swimming in the water. We started shouting and signaling for help. They came and rescued us, thank god. We were still at least 3 km away from the shore.

When we came back to the beach in Ao Nang we bitterly complained to the staff, and they didn’t seem to care.

Avoid this place.

There is another kayaking company where you can hire, passed the monkey trail on the next beach towards the east. They look much better maintained.

The vendor insist to rent for 4 hours, total 500 thb.it was nice to kayaking there

bring enough water and prepare to be grilled in daytime, mostly no shade in the sea, better to do it in the late afternoon

皮划艇不错，店家坚持租你4小时，总共500泰铢，体验不错，海面挺平静的，划起来没问题，就是太热太晒了，如果去划，一定晚一点去或者阴天去，多带一些喝的水。

You can book there as a non guest, but for double the price:) Maybe try Railey Beach instead.
