Jamai Halal Restaurant reviews
22Not the best food tasting and surely not the best priced meals in the area but good enough for quick halal local meals in the area.
Jamai Halal Restaurant in Ao Nang exceeded all expectations, offering a truly remarkable Indian dining experience. I must say, this was the best Indian food I've ever had. The flavors, spices, and aroma of each dish were nothing short of sensational. What made this experience even more enjoyable was the manager's exceptional service. He was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful with recommendations, ensuring we tried the restaurant's standout dishes.
One noteworthy aspect was their flexible beer prices. Negotiating the beer prices added a unique touch to the dining experience, making it all the more memorable.
Our group consisted of six people, and without exception, everyone had an outstanding meal. Each dish was a culinary delight, from savory curries to delectable naan bread. The restaurant's commitment to quality and taste was evident in every bite.
Beyond the extraordinary food, the ambiance was inviting and comfortable. It provided a perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening with friends and family. The combination of superb food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made our visit to Jamai Halal Restaurant an unforgettable one.
If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience in Ao Nang, I highly recommend Jamai Halal Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
Close to the main road, the foods are tasty especially tomyum. Fried chicken too. I like it. Affordable price. Recommended.
The food was great and the service was very good. Food came quickly but was cooked to order as the food was all still piping hot when it arrived. The best dish that I ordered is the steamed snapper with lemon sauce. The environment is just that of normal restaurants environment but a bit hot because only got small fan. Oh and it’s halal.
The waiter is nice and friendly. They served the food quite fast (though 2 of our menu got delayed). Love the fish tom yum (really fresh, the fish juice really sip into the tom yum soup). The fried rice was quite okay. The drinks were quite plain. Ate for 7, costed us TB2800, so i guess its a bit pricy. Not wheelchair friendly since you have to climb stairs to get to the restaurant
Avoid this place! The food was terrible and highly overpriced. The food had no Thai taste at all. The bill came with higher price than in the menu. They were not honest about the extra charge of meat varieties
Not real Thai food.pad Thai had no taste and the noodles had been very hard. Fried rice too much oil and also difficult to eat. Price more expensive than other place. Service not friendly. After traveling whole Thailand twice this was one of worst dishes we had.
Bad quality food. I had ants in my food and all over the table. Average place and service. Chicken pieces were extremely hard.
Really authentic Thai food served here, friendly staff. Can't recall whether there was a proper toilet
Small portion, lemon steamed fish taste like chilli steamed fish.better find another restaurant
The lady is very rude, and they have expensive mango with sticky rice (80 bth), when they add just half mango and very little rice, without the usual crispy chicken thing that other places added. Totally not recommended.
It’s our last night here after 8days so decided to try before we leave tomorrow. We are surprised that food tasted much better than some an expensive and non expensive restaurants we went. Their price is very reasonable. Tom yum broth is rich and tasty. My girl’s seafood fried rice is very good too. We can really taste mango for their Mango frappe unlike some shop we tried where they put lots of sugar and ice. Overall we are happy. Oh, I forget to mention that their restaurant is clean.
The food was normal for me. Tried their padthai, tomyam and fried noodle. I think the taste is normal but the banana pancake is nice and delicious!
It has changed its name
New name: ~~ magic
A half of shelf do not be opend because they dose not be cooked well so i ask staff to cook again but he refused
I tried the shrimp tomyum, steamed rice, tomyum fried rice, seafood fried rice n pad thai for take away. Also some drinks. Shrimp tomyum n tomyum fried rice taste greatt! Pad thai tastes good eventhough i ate it the next day n it's already cold. The others are so-so.
Was the food tasty? Unfortunately, No!
Was the place cozy? Unfortunately, No!
Was the place neat and clean? Unfortunately, No!
Was the place worthy to visit? Unfortunately, No!
I'm sorry, I did not expect food cooked with simple maggy spices. Anyway, the service would be better next time, we hope!
I just order the pancake. The waitress was not friendly and rude. Happened to me twice in a day! In the morning I came she rudly brush me off and said Go away. Im having my breakfast now. I just walked away.
In the evening I came again.hoping she was in better mood.unfortunately NO! SHE WAS RUDE! I still put in my order as my wide want to taste it. Again.taste was nothing much difference than a roti canai with difderent taste.
Not Recommend at all. Tasteless and not worth it with the price. I pay so expensive 650$ for fish and tomyam but the taste is really suck!
It's restaurant serving halal dishes on the main street of Aonang beach, quite center location. Food was alright, just order ala carte dishes i.e. Fried rice/ phad thai/ tomyam noodle soup etc instead of white rice with mutiple dishes. Too pricey and for what you'll be served. It's not too bad if you really hungry and not into having fast food at the time.
We came at 10.40 p.m. And even though it was past their closing time, they took our order and served us with tasty food. Ordered the steamed fish in lemon sauce and for 290 baht, it was value for money. The fish was fresh and huge. No fishy smell at all. A must try if you seek authentic Thai cuisine that is served in a small, family-run eatery.
