IRest Ao Nang Hostel

Just stayed at Ao Nang Irest. Great location as short walk to town and beach. Surrounded by great restaurants. There is a lovely restaurant inside the hotel as well and breakfast offered free to guests. We stayed in a private room and a dorm and both were great. Private room had a bath, a balcony, tv, teas coffees, hair dryer, slippers, umbrellas. Everything. Dorms had a social area with similar amenities. Fantastic service, the owners were so kind and helpful. Offering to help book trips and find us great locations to go to for food. Had an incredible time and would happily book again

What I liked the most was the treatment of Pucki and the man who is always at the bar. They have helped me a lot to make my stay the best. The place is new, absolutely clean, comfortable, super close to the beach and the center. The breakfast was spectacular, I recommended the hostel to my friends who are traveling through Krabi. Without a doubt I would return. The girls at the bar who serve breakfast are also the best. The room was divine, the bathrooms and changing rooms too. One of the best hostels I've been to in Thailand. Thanks for everything!

The location is relatively central in Ao Nang, but still a bit off the main road. This means you can reach everything on foot in no time, but you are still protected from the noise so you can sleep and rest well.
The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating and helped us with any of our problems and queries.
The low price also included breakfast every morning.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and cleaned regularly.
All in all, a very successful week, so much so that we even extended it by another 3 days!

I had a quiet, wonderful stay here. Sports bar with outdoor area and pool table. Clean rooms. Breakfast included and really super nice, very accommodating staff.

We were super positively surprised!
Since it has just been renovated, everything is nice and new and clean.
There is a nice large bathroom and our 4 bed room has everything you need.
The staff/owners here are super nice and accommodating. When I got sick, I got tea and medicine from them.
Breakfast is also included in the price - the price-performance ratio is really unbeatable here.
The room was cleaned several times during the stay.
The location is also great, you can get to the beach within 5 minutes. There is also a billiards table in the attached restaurant that you can use.
We extended our stay by 3 nights because we loved it so much!

This is more of a posh-packer hotel. If your traveling with a few people and don't mind bunking together a good place. Located in hub of Ao Nang the Soi leading to IRest is flagged by McDonald's, a few steps down the Soi has a hoping Beach bar, Quicksilver and Havana's retail outlet. We got the family room that had more than enough space for a family of 4. Big bathroom as well. Nice deck in front of the room to hang out and make your next travel plan. The room was quiet but did have a few rough edges. If your traveling by car there is no parking! There is a paid parking around the corner but check the hotel at booking as the parking area was getting developed so don't know how long it will be available.

Overall was okay. Got insect in my room. Room is big and there is bath tub in the bathroom. Location is strategic.

Very clean and nice rooms, staff is friendly, unfortunately no food is available but you can get things nearby. You can watch sunset if you’re staying on the top floor.

Reasonable price. But do note that no drinking water is provided. Toilet facility is not so good in term of hygiene.

DO NOT BOOK THE DOUBLE ROOMS! They have a mold and fungus problem and the smell is not tolerable! We were so tired we took a shower when we arrived so we ‘used’ the room after that we had to look for another place. You cannot sleep in that smell. It looks like they are renovating but still they are renting these rooms at the bottom floor. Bathroom smells like pee. It’s insane they have the courage to rent these room. Totally disappointed, nothing like the pictures in the websites maybe they are from 20 yrs ago! Felt scammed!

Public toilets are not very clean, some rooms the water heater doesn't work. Anyway, the restaurant has a very nice view, and the dorm is fair price vs.others.

Dirty and flooded bathroom. No breakfast. Old blankets. Although I the air conditioning was superb in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at irest we got the family room. Was big and the bed wasn't that bad. The staff are super friendly only 8 mins walk to the bars and restaurants and beach. Breakfast was not included but that's ok because the restaurants next door are great. The basil rice chicken curry was super spicy but was addicting.

Very different compare with pictures. Quite far to the beach. No breakfast included. Worst toilet ever. Only 1 water heater provided.

Just a 3-min walk to the main road where the shops and restaurants are. Quiet place too with a good sunset view.

Clean room, nice staff, clean toilets & silent area. Open dining space where you can bring the food & eat here. Close to beach & street food.

Even though it is cheap, it lacks basic things like hygiene. Bathrooms where never cleaned, empty shampoo bottles and other guest left behinds stayed in the soapy dirty shower for 7 days. The bathroom sinks had hair and the same mucous stuck for the entire stay. Hardly any toilet paper provided. Noisy stay, humid public areas.
