Hot Rock climbing school

Your go to guys if you’re looking to climb in Krabi! We are pretty experienced climbers so they tailored our outings to our abilities, but it’d be a great place to go for beginner climbers as well. Super fun guides (shoutout to Shy!) who made us feel safe and sound the whole way through. Can’t wait to come back some day!

Incredible outdoor climbing experience with Hot Rock! I had the opportunity to do a full-day private climbing session who was able to show me how to clip more efficiently with one-hand, anchoring and abseiling. My guide was very experienced and patient when teaching me, which is much appreciated since it was my first time (I typically climb indoors and rarely do lead climb). Overall, I highly recommend climbing with Hot Rock!

We loved our experience with Shai & Hot Rock. Really helpful in planning over what’s app, gear in good condition, Shai was very safety conscious, gave beta when you wanted it and made sure everyone in our group was challenged. Highly recommend! Thank you

Has the best time climbing with Shy. We brought my 60yo mom and 10yo daughter and she also climbed! I’ve been using Hot Rock climbing for over 10 years and we always have the best experience! Well worth it for such a wonderful experience! And most importantly they are SAFE. They know all the climbing calls and check every time before the climber starts

Did a half day of guided top roping since we were rusty. Group intermediate. Spent a ton of time on rock, felt totally safe, climbed high quality routes. Just eyeballing the gear of the other outfits near us, it seems like Hot Rocks is top of the line for equipment. And our guide was great!

Climbing at Railay with Hot Rock Climbing School was one of the top highlights of our trip to Thailand. The school booked us on extremely late notice (9: 30pm the night before!) for our group of 6 thanks to Sara, Hot Rock’s friendly support person on WhatsApp. Our group was mostly beginners and our guides Lek and You were extremely patient and helpful as we learned the ropes. They picked a good range of routes for us to climb and were very supportive in helping us reach the top. I strongly recommend Hot Rock Climbing School if you are in the Krabi area!

Great first outdoor climbing experience! We did the half day for beginners with my partner, we were all alone with our instructor Lek, who was great! Very relaxed atmosphere, walls still quite impressive when you start, but what a pleasure to get there! Very good feelings, very well surrounded ;) Thanks again to Lek for this good time!

I've had half way climbing experience, it was vary nice, routes were challenging and views were great! Our insteuctor was taking care od our safety and it was a pleasure to climb in his company!

The most amazing and accommodating rock climbing school in the Krabi/Railay beach area. Lek was so patient and encouraging and took us to the best locations. My husband also climbed with a younger guy (sorry I can’t think of his name) the day before and he was just as amazing. The vibe is very relaxed and fun!

The two of us took a beginners course and we really enjoyed it. Our guide was very cool and taught us everything. We recommend.

Great climbing experience. I was only one person climbing, so it was basically a private lecture and Baimon (my awesome instructor) made sure I did and learn as much as I could. 10/10 experience, I am already looking forward for next session. Thank you and see you soon!

I did a half day group climbing tour with New at Hot Rocks. There were 2 of us in the group and we had a great time; New was knowledgeable and also very safety conscious. He taught us how to lead climb, clean the anchor and allowed time to top rope also. Despite the rain and thunderstorm he managed to find a sheltered climbing spot for us to climb during the storm. Couldn't recommend this tour and tour guide New any more highly

We had an amazing morning with Biamon! Every time you’re feeling like giving up she was there to encourage you to keep going. We did the half day trip and felt like we got plenty of challenging climbs in for our level. Great views and great vibes!
