Green Pepper

Very great hotel with a nice family hostel feeling! We'd love to come back! The location is a bit remote, but that's not a bad thing - you just have to know what you want - it worked great for us)

We’ve been traveling since 4 months now and this is by far the most beautiful place we stayed! The manager, Ton, is amazing. He is friendly, helpful, funny, and makes you feel like family. We extended our stay a couple of times and just didn’t want to leave. The place is green and quiet with many seating areas and places to chill inside and outside of the room and in the common area. They offer breakfast and coffee. There is a fridge to keep your own foods and some cutlery and plates. Water and tea are free. They grow their own papaya, bananas and passion fruit which can be harvested and eaten when ripe. The location was nice. A bit tugged back but still central and close to Long Beach. They also rent motorcycles for a fair price of 200-250 THB. We can highly recommend to stay here when visiting Koh Lanta!

We felt more than welcome at the Green Pepper and were greeted very warmly and in a familiar way. The rooms were the best we had in Thailand. Very clean, comfortable beds and the best terrace. In the lounge there is water, tea, coffee and a fridge to store your things.
We took the cooking class with Mon and can highly recommend it!
Maayan booked us a great boat tour that took us to 2 beautiful islands. You can rely on always receiving the fairest offer.
We rented a car for a few days. Without children, a scooter certainly makes more sense.
Delicious breakfast is served. We can recommend Mama Dang for the evening.
If we come to Koh Lanta again, we will definitely come back here!

Very nice place, clean spacious rooms, beautiful jungle feel, friendly staff and by scooter you can reach the best restaurants and places by the sea within a few minutes

Super recommended! I loved the location immersed in the mountains. It is good because in the same establishment they offer you motorcycle rental, which is necessary to get around.
The room was clean, in the bathroom there was even cream rinse that is great, the staff was very friendly, in the establishment you have different spaces to sit and have something.

We stayed two nights and loved it. Friendly manager who went above and beyond and was so happy to be there! The rooms are clean clean clean which is so important and felt very comfortable! Lovely garden and over all we really had a great time!

Such a special place, we spent 5days at Green Pepper and it was our favourite stay. Special mention to Nattaya who welcomed us with open arms, such a lovely and kind person who made us feel like we were staying with family. The location is nice and quiet but close enough to everything on a scooter. We really enjoyed the laidback feel, can’t recommend enough!:)

Our stay here was fantastic. Great service and beautiful rooms and garden. You can rent a scooter here and explore the whole island, as this place nestled in the center of it. There are some fantastic restaurant and beaches just a few minutes away. The breakfast smoothy bowl with homemade granola is the best way to start the day.

A fantastic, friendly, relaxing and welcoming place to stay. Really great environment to meet other travellers, and especially good with kids. The cookery school is fantastic too!

Such a great place to stay, we had three nights there but could of happily stayed longer. Lovely clean and well looked after rooms, comfy beds and beautiful decor. I loved the hammocks, and the breakfast and coffee were excellent.

Green Pepper is one of those places where you stay way longer than intended. There are a few reasons why, but the biggest reason simply is that the owners Maayan and Mon are just lovely. When you do something you like, what you are passionate about it will not feel like working - this vibe is definitely noticeable at Green Pepper. The open-minded, positive and welcoming attitude makes you feel like home. And that's rarely achieved in the hospitality industry.

The rooms are spacious, cozy and clean. The bathroom is perfect as the water pressure is good and the water temperature adjustable. There are enough power outlets and lamps. It's all about small details, but it's all been thought through. They are open to feedback to make this place even better. Also if there's anything you need or need to know they are more than willing to help and support.

The location of the accommodation is perfect as it's not too close to the main road, and therefore quiet - but still central and close to all main attractions and good beaches. Rent yourself a motorbike and basically the whole island is accessible within a 15 minutes drive.

A big plus about this accommodation is that the most popular activity on the island, Mon's Cooking Class, is right here! (Nr. 1 on TripAdvisor)
The energy, authenticity and entourage in this cooking class is something you don't want to miss.

At last I want to say, feeling home in a foreign country is what we all appreciate. It is what makes traveling fun, exploring the world and relax at a place where you can recharge for the next days. It's what should be cherished.

Maayan and Mon - keep up the good work and have fun in the upcoming years. Because I believe that with your mindset and attitude your business will be successful.

Great hotel in Koh Lanta. The hotel is a bit far from the beach, but no problem with a scooter. The owners are very kind and very helpful and such friendly people, you just have to love them. One of our best experiences was the cooking class with Mon, one of the owners. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing. One of my favourite places in Thailand!

Just like the best place to stay on Koh Lanta?

Not even joking. We loved it! Great rooms, great garden, great common / chill areas. Comfy bed! Felt very welcome, also while traveling as a family with a young child.

Mayaan and her staff are so friendly and helpful with literally everything; we rented a scooter from here as well. Mayaan has the best recommendations for anything on the island.

Really great breakfast and honestly one of the best coffees we had in Thailand.

Will definitely Stay here again on the next trip.

Maayan and Mon are the two best people a traveller could ask for to encounter! They both have extensive knowledge about Koh Lanta, things to do and where to go. However, the thing that sets the Green Pepper apart from other places is the feeling of belonging! The we entreres the premises we felt welcomed and as a part of their little family! The week we stayed with Maayan and Mon, we went fishing with the locals, kayaking in crystal clear waters, explored the hidden hels of the Island, and last but not least, we learned to cook thai food by the insanely talented Mon (there is nothing this man can’t do). I would go back to Thailand just to visit these two again!

Very bad experiences booking this hotel, the best part it’s not even open. The owner call me to cancel it. I asked her to call Agoda which she refused and gave me attitude. Don’t waste people’s time if you don’t know how to run business. Be honest, I travel around the world for three years, nothing like this happened, not even once. I hope you close it for good.

Had a wonderful stay here. Rooms are both well decorated and very comfortable. Lots of comfortable hammocks and chill areas to spend a lazy day. The owners are a lovely family, and the beach is just a short motorbike ride away (recommended to have your own transportation)
