Excellent hotel for a holiday on Koh Lanta, the hotel is located next to the best beach on the island, 10 minutes walk

The rooms are extremely old and worn out. Always small animals in the room. No water pressure. Impossible bathroom. Storage shelf almost falls down. No place. Very bad smell. I had booked the better room! The reviews on booking com are probably doped by a woman from Germany who rents there for a few months every year. But look at my photos. A hotel nearby costs less and is much better.
The owner is nice but that is the only positive thing about this hotel

Super clean hotel, great room service, I was super surprised. The hostess is super warm and friendly, there is also a scooter rental right at the hotel.
The only drawback is you shouldn't have any problems sleeping on a main street, but I would always come back.
The massage salon next door is an insider tip, the ladies know exactly what they are doing and have all the certificates!

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. We felt very welcome since our arrival by the very nice staff. The owners are very helpful, always smiling and laughing, and speak a very good English. Our room was big enough, clean and well equiped. We definitely recommend this place to stay in Ko Lanta!

Grand House is an excellent option for short or long term stay. It’s a favourite of many people who visit the island to use the coworking space nearby, who are looking for something affordable but clean and comfortable. The location is great for going North, South or West and is just a short walk to plenty of delicious food and beach sunset spots.

11 out of 10. Location is great and the staff are amazing. Book or do anything through them and your in for a great experience. Staying here has actually made me pity people in 5 star resorts.

Great budget rooms instead of a hostel dorm. My room had a double bed, airco. The shower could have been better: the waterbeam was too small. But okay enough for me. There is a big balcony watching the mountains. Very friendly staff and you can rent scooters for a cheap price. 3 minute walk to the beach, a local grocery shop and several restaurants within 5 minuten walk.

We stayed for two night and honestly can’t believe how great it was considering what we paid. Spacious en-suite room with an AC and lots of natural light.

This place is amazing, very clean, comfortable, modern, close to the beach, groceries, and also bars. The lady is super nice and she is trying everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. She speaks proper English. I totally recommend it.

Rooms are clean, and big for it's budget price. Riee is really amazing host. Always smiling.

Grand house is a nice cozy place situated 10 mins from long beach. The rooms are clean and the owner is very sweet.
There are plenty of small restaurants walk able from the hotel and a bike rental right across the road.

Just a place to sleep. Water pressure not great. Room type chose the air conditioning better has its too hot.

Loved this place, would definitely stay here again if we go back.

Bed was a little firm but wasn't too much of a bother, can't expect too much for a budget hotel.

The lady we were dealing with, I believe her name was Ree, was a delight and I already miss her!

Clean room and comfy bed. Really friendly staff. There is ATM and they rent bikes + sell daytrips etc.

We booked a room for one night. One evening before we arrived I got a message that there is a "problem" with our room, something about the oil pipe. I asked if they have another room for uns and the said "sure we have". When we arrived the next evening at 8: 30pm as we told them, owner was like "oh you are here I thought you cancelled", than she made some calls and her husband drove us to the other site of the island to another hotel without even asking! We choose this place because it was near our Coworking space where we wanted to work the next day. Next morning, nobody was available to drive us back, they offered us a tuktuk instead (with all our luggage) so we had to arrange something by ourselves. It took us until 2pm to get away and to the place we intended to stay next (they arranged transport for us). We think that they just didn't want to have us for just one night so they gave the room to someone else who wanted to stay longer. Absolute disaster, that was our worst hotel experience ever, and we travel a lot.
