El Greco Bungalows Koh Lanta

The food has been better in the past, but the quality has unfortunately dropped and is no longer appropriate for the price.
I can't say anything about the rooms, we were there for dinner.

Our welcome by Spiro and Maria. Iced water after our journey. We were shown to our bungalow, 2 metre square very comfortable bed. Fridge kettle, mugs, glasses, water in ice freely available. Ensuite shower, nice terrace for morning tea watching the monkeys. Breakfast is excellent, evening meals too, lamb gyros are not to be missed. 100 metres from a lovely beach, the whole area is good. Can't fault this place and we would love to come back.

The owner of the place Spiros is one of the best hosts we ever had and we traveled a lot! He arranged us a scooter (a must in Koh Lanta) for a great price and the rental service dropped a scooter in front of the place so we didn’t have to walk around or anything. He gave us some tips for the island and when we returned the scooter he even drove us to another place we’re staying! So lovely.
Everything was just as expected and even better so you definitely get what you pay for.

AC is working great and so is the Wi-Fi, bathroom was spacious and clean, bed was huge and comfortable and coffee (in the room) and water are complimentary. Those things are definitely extra nice. We would definitely recommend it.
Another bonus: 7/11 supermarket is like 150m away so if you fancy a snack, meal or anything you miss you can get it there. Khlong Dao beach is super cute and 15 min walk from the long beach.

We had a great time staying here during our 5 days on Koh Lanta! The rooms are cozy with a very welcome AC and a large comfortable bed. It is located across the street from the lovely Klong Dao beach which is very pretty and also not crowded. But the best part of staying here was the owner, Spiros, who really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He helped us with booking tours, renting a motorbike that could be dropped off right outside our room, and arranging transport to the airport when it was time to leave. One of the friendliest hosts I have ever had. Also having the healthy and delicious Greek restaurant on-site is a great bonus. They offer very nice breakfast and it can be nice to have a break from Thai food sometimes. Highly recommend this place if you are traveling to Koh Lanta!
