Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort

For a 5 star resort there is still room for improvement.the staff is very friendly.

I think the internal processes are not fully optimized by management. And there is definitely a small renovation backlog

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. We enjoyed 6 days. After a long journey we slept wonderfully in a gigantic bed, at least 3 meters wide. The room was clean, nice and cool and spacious. The infinity pool and grounds are truly beautiful. The massages on the beach are fantastic and we had them almost every day. Good price and the sound of the sea in the background is wonderful.

The only area for improvement for us was breakfast. The offering was more than fine, but the space is too small for the number of guests. The acoustics are also poor, making it a chaotic, unpleasant experience. However, management resolved this well after we reported it to reception. There are many nice restaurants outside the resort and we had a delicious Thai meal there every evening.

All in all a very nice experience in a beautiful hotel.

That's a great hotel. The service was very friendly and we love to stay at this hotel. The garden and the pools are beautiful and also the beach. You can do some beautiful trips to the islands, for example Hong Island. Everything was awesome.

The location is perfect on the beach resort. The swimming pool for kids is awesome. The adult pool I got hurt in my leg ad The have steps at multiple areas whish I felt is not good. The Italian resturent is not good. The breakfast is good but I wish more indian food options should be there.like dosa counter idli.as indians stay here was more in number though we had Chole paratha / aloo paratha and the cakes all have egg I wish there were eggless options in cake and yogurts their eggless yuhgut is only soya yogurt which we don't generally eat. Breakfast can improve for Indian people but veg options over all are good. Coming to room rooms are good as u can see mostly rooms are facing garden view some facing pond. I generally prefer garden view. The beach was ideal to walk no rock beach.it's excellent to swim amd they have free kayak for 1 hour and wolly ball and indoor games which I dint do as we were most of the time on beach. Communication is definitely and issue but can be managed which short and sweet words.they can't understand if u talk in lengthy sentences so keep it short and straight and sweet. Rooms are well kept. Please indians I suggest u go to ao nanag beach if want indian food or thai food 100 percent vegetarian food please please go to govindas resturent it's run by iskon devotees and the food there is awesome in my 4 days stay I had dinner their daily thai and indian as our parents enjoyed food without any tension of food or oil smelling like non veg.and to top it all they are an resturent which do not use no onion and no garlic.strong followers of srila prabhu pad iskon. They have satang bhajans also in the resturent. There are 2 branches of govinda please go to the bigger one, smaller resturuent is by the name of little govinda.but I personally like the bigger resturent govinda resturent which is bigger and located on the main road not easy to spot so slow down ur car. Dusit Thani overall good I wish they provided stools for kid / Senior Citizen for making it easy to take shower in bathroom. The massage on the dusit thani property I dint take instead I took the massage on the same property next to the surfing boad stall of the property right side there are 10 beds and the ladies there give excellent massage go for thai massage full body with or with out oil, I preferred without oil. Pooh masssues is very good there it's so good that it'd almost full all the time.book ur slots. Hope my review made ur decision easy.

A very large and heavily family orientated resort which often spoiled the overall feel of the hotel which is set in lovely well kept grounds and gardens. Unfortunately only one of two pools was available and there was building works in progress next to our room during the daytime. At one point trees were being removed outside the room which left debris on the balcony that was never removed throughout our 8 day stay. This was no reflection on the interior of the room which was always kept very clean and well serviced twice a day. The deluxe beach facing rooms were very comfortable, well appointed and faced the beach although in all honesty the view of the beach was almost non existant and is probably why they are called beach facing and not beach view. It was not worth paying extra for this type of room as normal rooms had much the same view anyway. For such a large hotel there was very little choice for evening meals. Limoncello offers nice Italian food but again there are many families with children being children and crawling around the floor and playing. Totally fine but totally out of place in a high end restaurant. There are two lovely and much cheaper restaurants just outside the entrance to the hotel and a very nice beach bar/restaurant and massage spa on the beach directly next to the hotel. This one is only open until 9pm though so dont eat late. Breakfast offers a wide selection of hot and cold food but can be very busy. The beach is lovely and the sea warm and shallow. Plenty of sun loungers and shade and no need to rush to reserve any although many did especially around the pool area. The staff are ALL lovely, friendly, helpful and humble throughout and nothing is ever to much trouble. All in all a lovely stay at a lovely hotel.

Spent 4D3N at the hotel, in their seaview room with a balcony. First up the location is away from the more touristy Ao Nang Beach area. It does take a little more time to get to Dusit from the airport, and you will need to take transport to get to the action.

Check in was smooth. We even got an early check in. We were informed about the ongoing renovations and upgrades. Took a buggy ride to the rooms. The resort is sprawling. It covers a large area and faces the seafront.

The room was pretty good. Well equipped with amenities that you'd expect. Clean. Nothing was broken down. I even managed to use the gym, which was modern, and well equipped.

The breakfast spread was not too bad as well. I guess their main restaurant was under renovation so they had to make do with a conference room area.

The pool and poolside bar was nice. Great place to chill and relax. Limited deck chairs to lounge on so go early. Happy hour is at 5pm, it's buy one free one. Prices for drinks and food are definitely on the pricey side as with any hotel.

The resort grounds have plenty of greenery and a small lake. Well maintained. The seafront area is open for swimming then the tide is not too rough.

All in all a really decent resort. Will likely be back again the following year with a higher group hopefully.

Salita and Sky really made my stay here the best it could have been. Both were lovely people, very friendly and their service was second to none. They had great knowledge of local activities and made me feel comfortable being on my own here.
The resort itself is breathtaking with a range of things to do and food options. Highly recommend

Everything excellent, the service, the rooms, the food at its restaurants, the spa, the pools and the fantàstic gardens around the facilities. Staying at the pool is a real pleasure, relaxing and quiet. Be aware, though, that the beach is not the best, but there are some really good nearby

Excellent, excellent Beach And the surrounding islands add to the atmosphere, excellent food, and fun you can take free canoe and sap, the pools are excellent. The hotel area itself is very beautiful and the gym is very good, outside the hotel there are several restaurants, massage and supermarket

The place is quite far from the actual beach. You need a hotel car to get there or walk few minutes. Along the way you will see how poor the maintenance of the place is, at least at the time of my review. The garden is a mess, with wild grasses growing everywhere, it just looks bad. But that's what you have to see, even you take a sea view room. The sea is mediocre due to the distance, it's not really worth to consider. But please make up your own mind, i didn't like it.

Best Hotel ever dusit thani is the beat Hotel branch in Thailand and this hotel also had a great pool with a nice water sport instructor 5 star would go again

Very good porter service, fast and professional check in. Room clean and the breakfast good, overall nice to stay for a couple days.

HUGE RESORT with a lot of GREEN and BREEZY spaces, 2 big swimming pools set into the BEAUTIFUL beachfront landscape.our breakfast and dinner in the resort, must try Southern Thai cooking in Mangosteen, and the trendy eatery Toh Kin Khao! Staff are friendly, smiles and wai everywhere.good destination for groups and families; uniquely seeing 3 generations coming together for a warmth family vacation.stayed in a Club Suite in end March for 4D3N, room was refreshing and clean, just pity that the Club was not never open. Tour Desk also very helpful, especially during the low-season of the covid-19 crisis.

Excellent resort with nice rooms and very professional staff, but they desperately need new loaner bicycles.

I'm very impressed for the good service from all hotel staffs. But the room is kind of a little bit old and a bit smelly. The location is superb, you can walk toward the beach and the sea. The beach is very clean, serene and private. There are golf cart service all day to late at night. The swimming pool is also great, the size and the depth is proper for tourists.

Nice Resort, i would come back. Was there during covid wave3, therfore most of the facilities closed, but i still liked the place. Friendly staff. Just to many red. But hey, its outdoor in the nature, so all fine
