Near the village, but away from the noise and crowds
Room cleaning every day, with new towels

We didn't expect anything fancy but cleanliness is bare minimum. Mould on bathroom walls, 'clean' bedsheets had blood on them, unknown substances sprayed on walls, dirty aircon, cockroaches. Cleaners (if you can call them that) didn't leave any towels after coming through on the second day, we called for towels and were told they would not have clean towels until 5pm, we eventually got 1 towel at 9pm after visiting reception once and calling them twice. Bottom floor rooms stink like sewage, somewhat understandable as the busier streets of Phi Phi smell the same, however the smell is just as bad inside the rooms and is inescapable as the bathroom doors have vents. We had booked 4 nights but cut it short after 2, when I woke up with a rash and my partner woke up with a swollen eye. When receptionist asked us why we were leaving early and we told her it was the cleanliness and she went silent and wasn't interested.

The pool is packed and way too small for how many people stay here. Plenty of privealleged people that leave their towels to hold a chair also. They should give more than 1 toilet roll a day if there are no common bathrooms outside of your room. 2 star for location.

Salty water, no wifi (really slow and cant really use it) and stinky bathroom, not recommended

Whe stayed here for 7 night. Whe experience one of the worst hotels on phi phi. Frist of all, the breakfast & restaurant. First 2 days whe had a lot of choice but suddenly everything whas going backwards. Whe had 80% less choice.from day 2 whe had everyday the same food with breakfast. Only some bread with cheese, fried rice this whas it. The drinks are not real juice but syrup and verry sweet while customers paying a full price.
Whe notice that its verry quit at the time whe got breakfast whe had a couple together but already left after 3 minutes and and it turns out that this has a reasson. I have spoken to few geusts in the hotel, even they are complaining about the food. Whe also notice that whe have stomach issue after eating in this hotel After a quik check it seems to be its old food from the day before. Whe also notice that if there is food left over the staff will eat this left over food for free while hotel guest paying a full amount. So the last few days whe decided to have a breakfast else where. I made a complain but seems to be nobody cares about it no wonder they have no customers in their restaurant. The staff in the restaurant is verry respectful and polite but its noticable that they afraid of speaking to much, i gues from their manager or boss.

The next problem in the restaurant is all those indians that arrive daily from day tours. They come with over 100 people to eat in this restuarant. The staff close the restuarant so the hotel guests are not able to use the restuarant anymore even the beach is full with tourist, whe are not even able to have a nice swim in the sea because the whole beach whas packed with indian tourist.

Now the room,

The rooms look nice on pictures and cheap in the first place but after our stay The pictures are definitely photo shopped. House keeping didt not clean as it should be. The shower are not cleaned for over 3 or 4 days. Their is a lack of maintenance in the room. The walls are damaged, shower walls broken.

They have over 5 man security. All of them sitting i the front doing nothing and laughing and chilling the whole day.while in the back of the resort their whas no security at all.

To make it even whorse their whas a big man from security he blames us that whe catching fish while whe dont have any fish equipment! Whe where just looking into the water. This guy whas rude and after this whe decided never to go back to this hotel.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you whant a safe environment better avoid this hotel.

The water on the hotel is salty and not fit for drinking, you need to buy bottles of water for brushing your teeth.

Beside that we had issue with the hot water and for every shower that we had, we had to call to the reception for getting someone to fix it.

Only after 2 nights the stuff agreed to move us to new room.
This room was dirty, with lots of noise from the outside and peeling walls.

Overall the location is great but the room aren’t.

I admit that the location at the entrance to the island is good.
I asked for the room to be cleaned, but I was embarrassed because they didn't clean the bathroom and only cleaned the room, provided 2 large towels, and provided free drinks.
Please bring shower supplies and drinks in advance.

Dear management, remember that you are running a hotel, not a students camp.

Checkin is not posssible without leaving a 500 bht deposit, even if you already prepaid your room. Is this even legal?
If you want a second key, another 500 bht is needed.
In the room there is a price list for all the objects you might damage: pillows, towels, flip flops etc.

Only pool towels, no beach towels, are provided and you can not take them out of the pool area. Again a constant feeling of mistrust.

I would prefer spending my money to a more modest hotel, but where i feel welcomed and i am not treated as an infractor from the moment i step in the lobby.

The hotel is Ok, the pool is always crowded and there’s just a few spots to sit, also we asked for ice at the bar and the attendant said that there’s no ice in the hotel. The room was extremely dark, we asked for a doble bed and give us two singles, the lights of the room switch on and off every 5 minutes, after asking to fix it 3 times they fix it, also the room is very dirty. The receptionist team were rude every time we talked with them. We asked to take to towels to the beach and they said that was not allowed, ridiculous! I’d hardly not recommend to stay here.

Hotel is in an amazing location and pool is great. Our hotel room (room no. 313) was nice and clean, however the aircon would make extremely loud noises and whenever it was on and did not cool the room at all. It turned out to be a very uncomfortable 5 night stay because we were sweating all night because of the heat. Additionally, the bathroom had a strong smell of sewerage and was hard to bare. If it wasn’t for these 2 things the hotel would have been a lovely stay. When we told reception about the aircon they just said “ok” and did not offer us any apology.

Location: Good location with walkable distance to the pier to take boats as well as beach, night parties, etc

Rooms: We booked garden view room, and got in ground floor, with main door and balcony door same, and it was not so private. They clean room only if we put clean sign on door. A very bad smell was there in bathroom, which I saw in other reviews as well. Water in bathroom was salty.

Pool: Pool was too good. They provide only one towel per day per person.

Will only recommend the hotel for location as the prices were very high.

Central hotel, nice rooms, beds are hard and you need to leave a deposit of 500BHT in case you lose your key card but the smell from the bathroom is utterly disgusting, even with the door closed and the toilet lid down, it was unbearable. We were on the ground floor (room 606) and I felt sick every time I went into the room, it’s not good for your health having to smell savage, this island is too small for the number of people on it. Phi Phi is not representative of the beautiful islands Thailand has to offer, it’s just a low class over developed tourist dump that smells. If you have to come here, come out of season.

This is a very nice Resort. Good service, every day cleaning, fitness room, nice pool and only 4 mins walking to the ton sai pier (where you will arrive with the boat). The place has also a nice restaurant in front of it with good food and discrete service (most of people on the island dont understadn english so this becomes quite painful after few days).

Amazing location very central in phi phi islands yet very quite not at the noisy side. I was a bit skeptic about hotel from reviews but wow the view from 309 was amazing and also shower was perfect no salty water and Smell in toilet negligible at least nothing comes to room. AC is fine not very noisy as reviews say. Also staff very friendly and flexible and hotel nice pool was a great plus.

Read the last couple of reviews and was so worried. Though we stayed for 3 days and it was one of the best stays yet. I wanted to stay longer! Staff were so helpful, accomodation was clean and very close to the pier, long boat taxis and restaurants our favourite was Italiano. Staff for the hotel meet at the pier and cart luggage for you. We didn’t have any smells of sewage in our room and views were great. Gym was well equipped for us and all up to date equipment. Only thing was the shower was temperamental with temperatures but was definitely hot. Honestly it has been harshly reviewed for an island accommodation. We give it 4/5 stars with slight improvements that come with age and isolation. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back!

The rooms are not that bad, the air conditioning was pretty loud. What really annoyed us was that they lied to us. We came one day earlier because our flight was cancelled and asked for a room for 2 nights the next day. They told us 2800baht/night for 2 people. The next day we came back and the SAME room was now 2990 baht/night. But they told us breakfast is included (which it shoud be for over 80€ a night!) And they told us when breakfast time is. Next morning we get up and go to the breakfast isle just to get told that breakfast is NOT AT ALL included and they wand an EXTRA 350 BAHT FOR IT! Woudnt recommend. 80€ a night without breakfast? I mean what is that? We hadnt booked the place if it wasnt w breakfast for that money.

I was super nervous to check in because of all the reviews but our stay was really good! We stayed in the deluxe room with no view (room 103) and the room was big, clean. The bed was comfy (although it was 2 single mattresses pushed together), the bathroom was nice. We did have a fan in our bathroom and the shower pressure was good. They cleaned our room by us just putting out the tag on the door. The only issue we had was the pressure in the bathroom sink was non existent, it was a tiny stream of water. And the patio did have a lot of mosquitos as did the common sitting area. But they let us check in an hour early and check out an hour late. We would book here again.
