Chalita Cafe & Restaurant reviews
44After months on the road I was craving some western food. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. So predictable. I was pleasantly surprised as it was delicious. The server was very pleasant and the ambiance on the patio was relaxed. I would certainly recommend them.
We came here on our only night in krabi. The owners where there. Very hospitable people. Their food is really good too.
Amazing and Fresh food. Tomato sauce pasta was brilliant, as well as the Thai fish that we had tried. Good option for vegetarians as well.
Yuuuumy! Ordered Red Curry and it's THE best in Thailand yet
Aldo bruschetta was great. Lovely atmosphere, would recommend anyone staying in Krabi to try this out.
The waitress recommended the coconut curry and it did not disappoint! Really delicious and nice presentation. Tofu/vegetable coconut cueey with rice for 100 baht.
One of the best meals I had in Thailand. It's a lovely setting with really nice staff. Food is great and so is the price
Our first meal in Thailand was at this restaurant. Delicious pad thai and papaya salad (though spicier than it looks!) Drinks were pricey in comparison but we didn't mind. Would love to come back!
It was the best meal we had in Krabi. Very nice atmosphere, tasty food and polite staff. I had stir fried squid with cashew nuts and rice, while my boyfriend had fish steamed in soya sause and rice. Both dishes were very tasty and we would definitely recommended them. We would go back again to eat there, however on our short stay in Krabi, we wanted to try out some other restaurants too.
Adorable spot for authentic Thai food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was fast paced and friendly. Reasonable price for large portions. Tried to go back a second time but they were full.
I have eaten here nearly every night of my 5 night stay in Krabi
The food is amazing! I’ve tried various options on the menu and every time they impress
The pricing is not too bad either!
The staff are lovely and helpful and efficient!
There is always soft jazz music playing which sets a very nice relaxed mood.
This is one of my favourite places I’ve eaten in Thailand.
Pros:
Great ambiance, terrific service, good location, and spectacular food.
Cons: Only a handful of tables so prepare to wait.
Pro tip: they take reservations!
Decent food lame service. When order a pasta no soup spoons are standard served but fork and knife only. One meager tissue napkin is served and when asked for extra a dispenser is brought and taken away somewhat later. Annoying service details that could easely be avoided.
The food was very good and cheap. The pad Thai was amazing and they had many vegetarian and vegan options as well. The staff is super friendly. I would totally recommend checking it out.
Amazing! My husband and I had the pa-nang, Tom kar and papaya salad and were blown away by the quality of all the dishes. Have reserved a table for when we are back in a couple of weeks!
Excellent food. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Try their green curry, or chicken salad or ice cream with amaretto. Delicious!
Very friendly staff, great Thai food, and vibes so good we came back twice! Our waitress was also kind enough to give us some travel tips in the area.
Not sure why this place shows up as Italian on tripadvisor, they have Thai dishes as well as some western food. Enjoy!
A decent option if you are in Krabi Town and you miss the night market Khao Soi woman (who makes epic Khao Soi). The service is fair, and the few times I tried to go before was either full or they decided to close early. Finally made it, and it was straight forward tourist food.
Really cosy place with great food in one of Krabi's oldest houses, or so I've been told.
Nice staff, owner speaks English.
The service was the best we had in all thailand so far. Waitress was extremely nice, spoke perfect english, and had no issues with our dietary restrictions, even offering to replace what we couldn't eat with other things. Would definitely recommend
