Blanco Hostel @ Lanta

Location was brilliant, roommates were ace and the staff were good fun and friendly. Would recommend people stay here

Great hostel beside the beach. The vibe is so nice with a pool, pool table and hammocks around. Rooms are modern and clean.

A lovely hostel with a very social atmosphere. A great balance of party and chill… the rooms are modern and clean with warm showers. The social activities are a lot of fun and the buffet dinner food is insanely good! Loved the pool party and open bar nights. The staff are so helpful, they know everything about the island and can recommend lots of things to do during your stay

By far Blanco's best hostel, I actually felt cozy and comfortable at your property for once. Really clean, great common space, good for socialising and meeting people, good food, great pool, great location, not many complaints at all apart from some room facilities like curtains and a bedside shelf to put stuff on. Also really liked Josh, super chill guy and he helped me withdraw some money as I lost my card.

Very nice hostel. We arrived there very late in the evening, but were very well welcomed by the employees (charlie <3). Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer than one night because our holiday had already ended.
So this is highly recommended and definitely worth repeating!

- good facilities and vibe, international volunteers.
- passport is kept by hostel when checked in, completely self-initiated rule and unnecessary, limits you to rent scooter elsewhere as hostel also rents scooters.
- it was so cold I couldn’t sleep and woke up 2am and chose to work outside with laptop instead of trying to sleep in that icebox. You cannot control ac because staff keeps the remote. At least 1 person l, who slept til morning got sick throat. I’ll add photo which shows the condesation because of temperature differences.

I had an overall good stay at the hostel. It is near to the beach, the rooms are clean and the common area is very nice. You can also rent scooters directly from the hostel. The only downside was that the lady from the reception kept all the passports of the guest which I found very strange (the reason for this was „immigration policies“, but I never heard of that from any other hostel or hotel).

Definitely recommend this hostel! It was relaxing and social. The rooms are modern and cleaned daily. There are hammocks everywhere, they offer food and drinks, free small breakfast, and provide scooters for 200/day.
Pro tip: when you walk to the beach (3 mins), two minutes to your left you will find a cool beach shack. Go smoke with the locals there! It was the highlight of lanta for me

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really friendly as well as the volunteers and the other guests. Good vibes, social bar area, all the usual hostel services with tours boat tickets laundry and bike rental. Would definalty stay again.

Pretty impressive hostel in a garden setting meters from the bewch. Well run. Efficient management. Great cleaning and maintenance staff. They make it look easy. But I've seen too many hostels to know it's hard work to keep things working and looking good. It is pricey though, but every bed is occupied.

Very nice hostel, highly recommended especially for solo travellers. The bar and the offered activities are an easy possibility to get in touch with new friends. Also very clean and modern dorms and facilities.

What an amazing hostel but really feels like a resort. Amazing staff. Amazing food and 2 min walk from the beach. Really loved the vibes here and you get to meet so many people. Even better is when you stay here. Since you already give your passport for them to hold. You can also request to rent a scooter or motorcycle and not have to go to some random place and risk giving your passport. All and all. Best hostel in koh lanta.will be back. Special shoutout to G! Ps. I was the the one that rented the 650cc Kawasaki ;)

Had the most amazing time here! One of the best hostels I've been to due to the amazing staff and activities. Great place to meet other backpackers!

Had no chance to check-in since they need to keep my passport for some weird reason. Like it's for my own comfort. My comfort is my own responsibility, not yours. If you're scared I'll break your bunk in the dorm, simply ask for a deposit. Ridiculous.

New bungalows, very clean beds and friendly staff. Great to stay if solo travelling with lots of tours and activities that you can take part in that makes it easy to meet other travellers

One of the best hostels we have stayed in, rooms cleaned everyday smell so fresh, aircon, 2 showers and toilets per 6 people dorms breakfast is included and is described as a basic breakfast but you get fruit too! Pineapple banana and watermelon! Great staff and service. Great atmosphere and great location. They also do scooter hire and tour booking and lots more and free pickup from the ferry twice a day.

Super chilled out hostel with lots of hammocks and places to lounge, location is excellent and a 2 min walk to the beach. Staff are pretty good and help you with whatever you need. The buffet is okay, of recommend it if you just wanna crush a lot of food. Rooms were very cozy and the bathrooms were great.

Feeling about this hostel is very meh. Beds were comfy and huge lockers to keep valuables in, ac blasts in the evening. Main issue was how clique-y it was, so hard to speak to people because of the way the communal area is layed out (like a school canteen with separated benches). Very much felt like a popularity contest here. Also hostel food is very expensive (150 baht for a pad Thai?) and pretty gross. Staff were not friendly at all, we said bye before are left and didn’t even get acknowledged, apart from the from one Canadian guy who was lovely and makes great cocktails / buckets.
