Blanco Central

Stayed in blanco beach bar 2 nights best experience.we had such a good time. Felt very welcome and the staff went above and beyond for us! I would highly recommend visiting blanco in Thailand! Emer the girl in charge of open bar at central was really helpful and informative about everything going on in phi phi we had. The best night at open bar. We will be back

Hotel has a more strict rules for customers like keep your passport. Wifi is no good; a good price and near town

Blanco central… More like Mosquito central. Rooms were dirty, like absolutely wreck show dirty. Upon checking in I sat on my bed and sat on sand leftover from pre pandemic days. Sand all over the floor. Toilet bowl had blood stains on it. Pillows were stained and smelt horrible. Blankets were itchy and most likely unwashed. Room was so damn all four of us kept wheezing and sneezing the next day.

The MOSQUITOS FAM…

I’m not sure what is it but the room is located right next to a drain. The room isn’t vented properly and mosquitos come in all night. I’ve been to the Amazon and the mosquito levels here were absolutely next level. We got bit the second all the lights were shut. It went on all night. If you have a mosquito problem use coils or mosquito spray. As a hostel I’m sure it’s not the first time people complained to you guys about the damn moist mosquito environment y’all hostel is at. All of us have atleast 30 bites from one weekend of being here. It’s not difficult. Buy mosquito coils and put it in each room. Also… for christs sake put some hand soap in the washroom. It costs like 5 Bahts. For hygiene purposes clean your hostel rooms better.

Host was great, security was great, the boat party was great. Blanco beach bar is mid but not bad.

Overall dirty hostel, damn rooms, ac was broken in our room. Smelled like piss garbage.

The receptionist was very rude simply because we asked why they wanted to keep our passports as deposition. We understand that they get that question a lot, but that is no reason to be rude to the guests. The receptionist rolled her eyes at us and had such an attitude both when we checked in and when we checked out. Worst hostel we have been at.

What a terrible hostel, mega unfriendly and storm into your room at 10 o'clock in the morning to turn off your air conditioning. In the evening there is a man who cannot even speak English with whom you have to communicate to enter. In short, terrible, absolutely not recommended. Your passport will also be confiscated and kept in the most unsafe place!

I didn't feel welcome in this hostel from moment 1.
Grumpy staff, lots of rules and it feels like a prison.

It is also not mentioned anywhere that they storm into your room every morning at 09: 00 to turn off the air conditioning, so that you are sleeping in your own sweat.

Very bad experience…

It’s a better hostel than the beach one! Stays relatively clean and beds are comfortable. Only downside is I had a bed directly under the air conditioner and it caused me to develop a cold. It was freezing the whole night because of this ;-;

Stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, two toilets. Toilet didn’t work at first and the room flooded during our stay which we found out happens frequently (enquire this) smell of damp pretty strong. Price and location good

Horribly loud and dirty hostel. Doesn’t respect quiet time at all. While everywhere else settles down for the night, music and loud conversation can still be heard until 3-4am. DO NOT stay anywhere remotely nearby if you value your sleep. Frankly this place needs shutting down, what an absolute joke.

Fun place to go out in Phi Phi. (The only one together with its Neighbour, during the low season)

Decent hostel, can escape the party a little easier than the other Blanco if you’re feeling rough. So much stuff close by, rooms were a little tight but can’t complain too much

Well-run hostel. Fairly clean, comfortable beds, and good AC. The bar had fairly priced beer and good happy hour deals. The owner graciously allowed a guy from the UK to cut my hair. Overall a very positive experience. Not too loud at night. I highly recommend going on the boat party that they run daily. Steve is a stand-up chap.
