Blanco Beach Bar & Hostel

Decided to party it out in Phi Phi for my birthday, and boy did I make the right choice by picking Blanco's. This is really where the party's at. Starts at 8 and goes on until 1. Games, great music and free shots all night!

On the first day, we took the boat party and it was better than I imagined it would be. Covers all the great spots. Enough time to swim and snorkel, and get drunk on the boat. 10/10 recommended.

Huge shout-out to Julia, Apple and Izi (I'm definitely getting the spelling wrong). They were the sweetest people. I will never forget their hospitality. Cheers!

Strict policy with air conditioning on the room, crew is not nice or willing to help, i asked to see the room before checkin in and got refusal

Amazing place, dope night parties, fun people, a freaking great beach view. Wait what else do you need for your get away? Loved my three days stay here. Highly recommended. Phi phi for the win!

Lovely hostel! I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, I didn’t have a booking just turned up and was treated well by the friendly staff! Towels are included and are good quality, there are plenty of showers available, hot and cold. Plenty of fun on the night time with games and cheaper drinks for those staying in the hostel (just show your wrist band) great location on the beach! Sand does get places but I didn’t have an issue, just dust off before going in to your room

There's almost nobody I went there 3 times, the place was filthy. Other than the staff there's almost no body partying unlike the neighbour's place on the beach. They do give free shots but that's pretty much it. I wouldn't sleep there that's for sure. They are well positioned

Not bad for it's price, dorms smell a little bit, but the location is perfect, it's literally on the beach

Not very clean, it’s a party hostel so be prepared to stay up till 2: 00 am because that’s when the music mostly tecno stops

You get what you pay for! Decent bed, but aircon was blasting and they only give you a very thin like satin blanket so slept with my towel. Bathrooms are fine, can be a bit stinky! But great location, in the hustle and bustle of the beach parties. And they have an awesome boat party! Definitely only stay here if you want to party all night.because it's a party hostel!

Great location, the room was clean but the restrooms only at the morning, in general is kind of good. But they need to improve the service. We stayed at Blanco in Railey and we liked it then we decided to stay in Blanco, Koh Phi Phi. But the lady at the reception was not nice and doesn't have a service attitude ir treat people skill, I needed help because I forgot a couple of bikinis in Blanco Railey and she kind of made fun of me answering sarcastic: -do you think they will stop working just to bring your bikini here?
Girl, I didn't mean it. I just want to do my best to get back my stuff.
Should hire kind people.

I want to thank Izza for taking the time to help me for 3+ hours to find my phone during our stay. He saw we were in need, and took laps around the island to help us out! It was INCREDIBLE and very unexpected! Blanco Beach Bar is the spot to be when it comes to having a great time on Ko Phi Phi. Great drinks, reasonable prices, and AMAZING staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you Izza for making our experience memorable and fun. You saved us that night too!

Didn't stay here. Just went for drinks which was fun every time. They have the cutest little kitten

Reception want to keep your passport as a deposit.
In Thailand you have to have your passport with you all the time (check law on internet)

Hostel was clean, staff were friendly and every night they have a beach party and WHAT A BEACH PARTY it is!

The biggest attraction for the hostel is that it is right on the beach. The parties are great in the night but if you are not a party person then won’t recommend this hostel. The rooms are small and most of the times have a lot of sand. This place is mainly for party folks.

We had a really awful time at this hostel. When we checked in the room for 6 was so tiny there was no room for our bags so once the room was full there was literally no floor space and backpacks everywhere. There is no rubbish bin in the room so there ended up being rubbish everywhere and the AC was turned down so low and you were only given a little silk sheet as a blanket. It is a party hostel so the music is loud until 2am which is fine and you accept that when you book this place but the staff just kept coming into our room unannounced and we were a room full of girls and it was guys that were just coming in without knocking. The doors didn’t lock either. One of the staff members walked in on some people in the dorm opposite us having sex and caused a huge shouting match at about 1am in the corridor, fining them 6000baht and calling the police. The guy had walked into the room without knocking and caused a massive isssue and he worked here: he was even threatening them as the hostel had their passports. He could have gone about this in a much better manner as the people involved weren’t even aware that this was a rule. The rooms were dirty and the bathrooms were pretty gross. We switched hostels after one night and would never stay here again. Hence the 1 star

Be warned. I was locked out of my room at this hostel (common occurrence for hostel goer's). There wasn't anyone at the front desk when I was locked out (even though it was advertised that they had 24 hour reception.) I finally found someone that worked there and they told me to sleep on the beach. As a female solo traveler, I found this completely out of line and put my safety in jeopardy. They never let me in my room until the next morning and I had literally had to sleep at a bed I found empty. Not cool. You are putting the safety of your guests at risk. Total sh**hole, even before this incident. Stay somewhere else, there are places nearby that treat their guests better.

One of my favourite party hostels of all! Definitely made my stay on Phi Phi much more amazing. Such great staff, very welcoming and helpful with lots of great advice on the island and activities. The night life at blanco is also the place to, it’s a party and a half. They are also well known for their Blanco Boat Party which was my favourite thing to do on the island (open bar, live DJ, buffet dinner and island hopping)! All in all, best place to experience phi phi!

Absolutely awesome hostel! Great place for backpackers to meet people with the bar/restaurant and common areas, great atmosphere and epic party at night! Also awesome that you're right on the beach (expect it to be a bit sandy but worth it!). The staff are so lovely and helpful, I will be staying here next time for sure!
